Kendahl is so right feastables DO taste like advent calendar chocolate!! I'm a chocoholic and i personally think feastables are the worst chocolate product I've ever consumed.
Kendal, look up how to make caramel with dates, it's really good with apple slices. It's pretty much just soaked dates blended into paste. Also dates with a piece of dark chocolate or dates with almond butter.

Mentioning this because Sarah talks about de-centering men and oppressive structures, and that is all super wound up in the moralizing of food. The book is so dense and cites decades of high-quality studies and meta-analyses while still being approachable and super interesting. Would highly recommend to basically everyone lol, but especially marginalized folks, I didn't even recognize what my relationship with food had gotten to because diet culture is so normalized.✌

Also, the ficin in a fig breaks down the wasp effectively so even if it did have a wasp, it likely doesn't anymore : ) You can check what type of fig it is! I actually donate to the Arbor Day Foundation and I promise it's not for rich people 😂 it's actually very low-price for them to either plant the trees on your behalf or they send you trees to plant. I had them send me trees one year and I swear they sent 10 baby trees to plant lol. They also send yearly bookmarks and postal stamps. They're amazing lol

So raw milk is bad because of the bacteria in it. If you wanted to “pasteurize” the milk before you consumed it, boil it at least. Never knew who he was but the ad was about how he’s never made a penny from his channel and him boasting about how good he is. That was enough for me to dislike him so I cannot say I’m surprised about all this info coming out about him.

I love Sarah and she’s so smart. I love how she’s always learning and growing and sharing that knowledge and I’m sure Kendall is a sweet person. I think she’s really funny but listening to her takes sometimes…… IDK I had to stop listening to the Chappell episode with the way Kendall was like well that’s just what being famous is… Just because that’s how things are Doesn’t mean that’s how they should be. I can’t remember what it was that she said specifically in this episode atm I would have to go back, but I think it was about the people involved in MrBeast events not being taken advantage of because they signed up for it freely… thankfully, Sarah mentioned how if someone’s going to suffer through his twisted social experiment like this just for the chance of money, they must be really in need. it’s inherently, problematic, and unethical. As much fun as it is to hear about psychology I think you gotta remember this isn’t an educational podcast and they want to be relatable. Kendal always gets to the point and maybe it takes her longer because she’s figuring it out as she’s speaking. As do most people when discussing random silly topics that don’t really require statistics or studies. I like how the girls always agree but their thought processes can differ. Kendal often speaks from experience or things she’s witnessed while Sarah explains the why and how, then they round it out together. As for the chapel roan comments you definitely aren’t alone, but she was never disagreeing with Sarah. I think if they went into detail of the specific things chappel was experiencing it would have been a more concise conversation yes but they didn’t do that so there was lots of room for broader ideas about celebrities. She really wanted to drive home how immense privilege and status inherently comes at a price. She NEVER said that price should be assault or stalkers lol just stuff like being asked for a photo or going grocery shopping.
