I actually made the same mistake of adding 2, 4 and 2. Then I learned that it is actually 2,2,2 because the earth’s creation plus the measurement of sustenance was done in a total of 4 days. It’s like, the earth was created in 2 days, the sustenance together with the creation is in 4 days total.
Then the heavens were created in 2 days. So 4+2 = 6. Hopefully this helps!!
The Qur'an says in two verses, (22:47 and 32:5), that the measure of one day in the sight of Allah is equal to 1,000 years of our reckoning.
In another verse (70:4) it says that the measure of one day in the sight of Allah is equal to 50,000 years of our reckoning.
SCIENCE QUESTION IF QURAN IS NOT FALSE: What is the speed of earth's rotation in MPH on human time if 1000 years is equal to 1 day of Allah? (1 day is 24 hours, circumference of earth 24,901 Miles).

This is because the preceding verses state about the disbeliever challenging about the punishment that will be bound to come, on the Day of Judgement, and that Day is as long as 50,000 years.

do you see the word ''totaling'' meaning that both the earth and the things on it were created in ''total'' four days. not separately! both of them combined made the number 4.
and the heaven was created in two days.
so, 2 days (created the earth) + 2 days (for creating the things present on earth) + 2 days (created the heaven) = 6 days.
@@MomoArt-fr1iqthe problem with what you said my friend is the fact that you are ignoring the author of the Quran, meaning if the author was differentiating what God did in those specific days then it would make no sense to mix in the days together if you were making a point on separation of tasks on specific days.
And just because it doesn’t say “total” or whatever is irrelevant because if you believe that Allah wrote the Quran then he should know that people would add up the numbers anyway… so why not be specific and accurate in the first place?

Allah is powerful enough to do multiple tasks at the same instant, also it makes much more sense for the heavens created in 2 epochs/days, the Earth's creation in 2 stages or days and its sustenance in 2 more days or stages totalling to 4 days for involvement in the earth.
As a final note: these "days" are undefined periods of time, i.e. stages. So thinking of them as 2+2+4 is meaningless.
As a Muslim, it's important to clarify the interpretation of these verses to understand that Allah created the heavens and the earth in six days, not eight. The verses in question come from Surah Fussilat (Surah 41:9-12):
1. **Surah 41:9** states that Allah created the earth in two days.
2. **Surah 41:10** mentions that the earth's provisions, mountains, and blessings were made in four days.

Al Fussilat : 9 - 12 indeed detailing and strengthen what Allah says in Al Anbiya : 30 that heaven and the earth was one and then make them separates means the period of make them is same. Which states in Al Fussilat 9 and Al Fussilat 12 that earth and heaven both were made in two days. MashaAllah.
The last two "Days" of the four days of the creation of the earth (41:11), includes the "two Days of the creation of skies (41:11). The last two phases of the creation of the earth and the two "days" of creation of the skies occurred simultaneously.

This shows that Allah gives knowledge, expertise and skill and education only to those who are non-Muslims and have not read out Quran. For example: Quran says Allah creates this earth in 6 days and Science says it took about 13.8 billion years for the earth to be inhabitable. The word which is used in the Quran is 'Ayyam' ayyam has different meanings. Most translations were done several years ago when science didn't know much. Hence in most translation, the word 'day' is used.
The best meaning of 'ayyam' which can be used in terms of context is 'epoch'. If you refer to a long period of time as an epoch, you mean that important events or great changes took place during it.
Today science tells us that this universe was created in billions of years. And again the Quran is not against science, the Quran is with science.
Edit: what I mean by it took billions of years is: the earth is 4.543 billion years old, but our universe is estimated to be 13 billion years old. Hope you get it...

Regarding your first question: epoch is something like a long period of time when an important event happened. So several billion years = 1 ayyam. None except Allah know the exact values of each ayyam.

'Namaaz' so you're an Indian? As far as I know, Namaaz is a Sanskrit word. The proper word is 'salah'. There are pillars of salah (obligatory acts) and sunnah acts of salah. Even if someone does obligatory acts of salah, that is enough. All scholars teach obligatory acts, I do not know of anyone who does not teach it. Some scholars do not teach a few sunnah acts to make things easy for some people. In short, we Muslims pray in a universal way, but just a few Muslims pray with some extra practices 🥰

Satan did not have authority over the Prophets. He could only influence the ''people's'' understanding of the words of the Prophets. not the Prophets themselves.

Prophets do not recite the speech of the Satan, as they are sent my Allah, so they may only recite the message given to them by Allah. so, they never recited the speech of Satan in the first place.

No, if someone has no authority over me, he cannot make me do or say something. and in the case of Satan he does not have authority over the true believers, he only has authority over disbelievers and hypocrites. Why? because Allah has allowed him to mislead people till the day of judgement to see who follows the way of Allah and who follows the way of Satan . Only the true believers will enter heaven, while Satan and his followers will enter hell.
Answering your fourth question,
now, abolishing means ''putting an end to something'', but Allah never ''abolished'' those verses. If you meant to say establish, then.. the answer is already in the third answer I've given.

Well, I’ve heard that there was smoke and from that he created the earth and the heavens.
Believe it or not, that’s not too far off from what we think happened, because we think there was hydrogen gas before that clumped together to make the sun, Jupiter, Earth, Saturn, etc. Correct me if I’m wrong though.

I think he was tryna assert that it did not explicitly state 8 years which would make it closed to interpretation; he was saying it does not necessarily mean 8 years in the sense that it started at say 2001 and finished in 2009 and that that that aya or surah doesn't state that they were made one after but rather parts at the same time. He had to make that assertion initially to support that point. I was confused too at the start but after listing to him I understood what he was trying to say.

So when Allah says we created the heavens and the earth and its sustainance in 4 days, and you read the verse that says we created the earth in 2 days, and the verse that says we created the heavens in 2 days, a lot of people do two plus 4 plus 2 which equals 8. But that's wrong.
As a matter of fact, the creation of the earth and its provisions were done in four days.

After the first two days, the Earth was still a protoplanet that had only 10% of the current Earth's mass. Allah used the word "and" to connect between the creation of Earth and the setting of piles of mountains on the top of the Earth during the first four days.
If the earth was completed in the first four days of creation and the heavens were created in the final two days to give us a total of six days, why does Surah 79.27-33 say that the the sustenance for humans and the mountains were placed on the earth AFTER (Ar. ba'da) the heavens were completed?

@@abcislamfornon-muslims2652 The problem that I am seeing after the Qur'an mentions the two days of the earth's creation in Surah 41.9, is that Muslims do not agree on where to place the four days in 41.10 or the two days in 41.12.
For example, there is a video of Ahmed Deedat saying that two of the four days mentioned in 41.10 include the two days from 41.9, and then the last two days were when the seven heavens were created in 41.12.
Zakir Naik said that the two days of 41.9 are separate from the four days of 41.10, and that the two days of the creation of the seven heavens in 41.12 are included within the six days of the creation of the earth, but he doesn't tell us where.
Then there are other Muslims who say that the seven heavens were created simultaneously with the earth on the first two days, and then the four days in 41.10 follow that.
That's THREE DIFFERENT INTERPRETATIONS!
As for the Arabic word "ba'da", you'll have to show me at least one translation of the Qur'an where someone has translated "ba'da" to mean "DURING" instead of "AFTER", because Surah 79.30 says "wa-l-'arda BA'DA thalika dahaha" ("and the earth AFTER that he spread"). After what? AFTER the creation of the heavens mentioned in 79.27-29.
@@dawahproof3030 Dear brother, I don't know why you are confused. If you just search بعد translate to English , google will give you only one English translation = "after". All Arabic Tafseer books that I read regarding these 2 days then 4 days, say exactly like Ahmed Deedat because Allah didn't use بعد and the used Arabic sentences clearly show that the 4 days include the first mentioned 2 days. Also, use your brain and think about what Allah created in the 4 days; Allah created the dust, the soil, the minerals, and the mountains. clearly from day zero all the way until the end of day 4. Surely this also happened during the fist 2 days while the Earth was still growing from the Nebula and the dust filled the solar system at that time. It seems that Dr. Zakir was not ready for this question or his memory got confused while answering this question. I mainly blame the people who keep this video on RUclips, just to gain some benefits/RUclips views.

I'm already clear on the earth and how many days it took to complete it (4 days). What I am trying to figure out is on which two days during the six days of creation were the seven heavens formed and completed? On days 1 & 2, or on days 5 & 6. Are you able to answer this question?

And when we use *and* and read the verse
** "And" He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, Come [into being], willingly or by compulsion. They said, We have come willingly." **
Allah clearly says "while it was smoke" meaning it wasn't complete yet...
And in next verse(12) Allah says
He *completed* the seven heavens in 2 days...
Which means... Allah created heavens and earth simultaneously and while the earth was being prepared with all that which will give it sustenance the ,7heavens also were being completed...
Simple...

When it was smoke is often thought to refer to primordial smoke which shrouded the universe in darkness for the first few hundred thousand years after the big bang.
It says the earth wasn’t smoke but the heavens is so that means the earth was created first !!

The Quran is not the word of God. The original Dead Sea scrolls say the following, “[1 And] the heavens [and the earth were finished, and all their hosts. 2 And on the seventh day God finished] his [work] which from all his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And] Go[d] bless[ed the seventh day, and sanctified it; because in it he rested from al]l his work [which God had created and made.]
God clearly said in all His scriptures, unaltered revelations that He created earth and heavens in 6 days. Quran and book of Genesis both confirm that.
God does not get tired and nothing wears God Almighty out.
