His performance shows both clarity and understanding about the composition but also a clear idea about his own interpretation. High level.
ong i swear these so fire they always bring new appreciation and inspiration for the guitar
Thank God Guitar Salon and others produce high Q videos where we can really enjoy the sound of a guitar, a concert video is not ok for a guitar performance where you want to listen each single note
SiccasGuitar too:)
Holy cow that was AMAZING!
The first time I heard this piece was at a live concert by Mircea and I was amazed. Well, I still am amazed!
Bravo Domnule Gogoncea! Am reauzit acum melodia asta dupa multi ani, si aceasta interpretare mi se pare extraordinara. Succes mai departe!
Amazing. You are probably my favourite guitarist. And the piece is amazing. I love Brouwer!
I am a big Brouwer fan too
Bravo excellent job thank you sir. That is a very beautiful guitar also!
Very unique song, brilliant playing!
Let's be honest... that is a terrific piece of fun. Love it to bits!
Definitely my favorite interpretation of Danza del Altiplano. You catch the "Andes" vibe so good
What a wonderful performance! So relaxed, so fluid. Thank you.
Beautiful!
It’s hard not to hear randy Rhodes or Gustavo santolalla in this piece. Leo inspired so many
This gives me chills everytime i watch it. Just amazing, absolutely astonishing. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. You should be very proud. 👏 👏
Saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷 bella pieza

Very nice. I like the lick at 2:00, the pull-offs with the bass notes. Tasty.
Best rendition of danza del altiplano! The OA brought me here 😅🤚

Perfeito!!
Bravo Mircea!
Too good really outstanding playing
very nice Mircea
Fantastico!
Excellent job done with some rather strange music. Smoking hot.
Fantástico!!
Amazing.
Super bien 👍🏽👍🏽 grande
Master piece

I am learning this piece ,it is not easy to learn 😶
Genius. For me the winner of the 2011 Tarrega contest was you.
Weeeesa
uauuu
Uau
Buena guitarra.
Sense of pentatonic, am I right?
this is amazing - is a name for the pull off/hammer on technique used at 2:00-2:05?
Is this an arrangement? There are various difference with the score in the Eschig edition "Leo Brouwer: OEuvres pour guitare". It certainly makes it much more interesting. Very nice performance.
Very good question! This version features an original introduction by Brouwer that was never written down. It was passed to me at the age of 11, by my good friend Michalis Kontaxakis, who studied with Joaquin Clerch, who himself was Brouwer's protege and got it from him. This was years before I would become, myself, a student of Joaquin Clerch at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf (Germany). There are other various bits within the piece that are slightly different, but the bulk of the new material can be found within the introduction.
This song is not often play in its original version
I think even never
@@mirceagogoncea hook a brother up with the intro
@@mirceagogoncea So ther is no score to be found?
@@yormumahoe6469 not for the intro, I'm afraid! I have a handwritten version passed down a chain of people from Brouwer, but was asked not to share.
You got a little you could use much more... pa pa pa pass...ion 🎶
Anyways.. loved it! 😊Amazing work!
nice hair!
Amazing comb-over, bravo!
Lmao
almost better than Ashley hehe ;) thanks for the amazing playing and great content on tonebase!
Commentors: Unanimous on technique, generally unversed in the beautiful Andean musical heritage of Peru, Bolivia, and Chile. The melody here echoes ancient tunes that are still alive and well in that part of the world. Great performance!
The OA yo
Renata
Makes me think of Domenico Scarlatti.
Tocó igual que vos cuando estoy soñando
O.o
Vim por causa de the oa
The man could thread seven needles with one hand while solving a 13 sided Rubiks cube with the other. In less than a minute. Despite my amazement at the skill, I was not, however, a fan of the composition.
More brouwer and less tarrega please!
This guy must have had a NDE
great tecnique he is a brilliant player. however Doesnt sound Andino music to me. I'm sorry. He lacks of research about this music in particular
Are you f**** serious?
Awesome playing. He looks too young for a comb-over.
Definition of virtuoso, beatiful piece, terrible player
