It's weird that that cop legitimately believed that there was nothing wrong with going 80mph in a 45mph zone.
It's not weird if you consider that certain personality types, like narcissists and histrionic people, are drawn to law enforcement. When those character traits are severe enough to get into the realm of a personality disorder, those people are categorically unable to see reality.

I used to work for the police department near me as a civilian employee. I had to follow them in my car to meetings a couple of times and they always drove way too fast (like 85 mph etc.). I always got paranoid that I would get arrested since I was following them and had to go that fast to keep up....
I used to serve in a reserves unit with cops. they drive like that even in their POVs. They gave me shit for not keeping up and I just roll my eyes (also, due to wind resistance, my 4x4 could probably do 69 mph with the roof tent if I was in 4th gear with my foot pinned)

It's crazy to me that the cop that got pulled over didn't even try to deny speeding he was just like "What, I'm going to work dude!?" Like "my guy, you still have to FOLLOW THE LAW"
@B Dog Most cops I see generally go a little over the posted speed limit (I'm talking like 60 in a 55 which...most everyone does that anyway). But never have I seen a cop going 30+ miles over the limit unless they had their lights on and were heading to a call.
@@BDog317How many unique cops do you actually see speeding? If you drive the same areas you’re likely seeing the same cops who have that route so if one speeds you’re likely to see that one more often. It’s not necessarily indicative of the behavior of most cops. I’ve definitely seen police who speed and tailgate and that behavior really is abhorrent, but I’ve seen far more drive at the speed limit exactly, even if it’s on a street where most people speed, often times slowing down traffic. I’m not saying that’s a valid representation of the whole either, but that there’s simply not statistics out there to show if it’s a large number or small and you’re much more likely to remember a cop who breaks the law than you are the various law-abiding cop cars you drive past.

I was a security guard at a city hall. There was a time when teenage smokers would appear near the entrances. The one disgusting habit they have is that smoking produces phlegm, so they would spit everywhere. Well, there came a day when I found three boys smoking while sitting on a bench.
As I passed by on my hourly patrol I said to them, "Try not to spit everywhere." The next hour and as I came around again they were still there, smoking. Now, for clarity, the front of the city hall/library is paved with cement tiles about 1 square foot in size. They poured all of their spit on one tile, I mean it was totally covered.

@@TrashisCoolFrI've heard of Mizzy too. Every single RUclipsr I subbed too was roaming all over that guy. Bet if he did those "pranks" in the US, he would get shot or get beaten up and I would not care because he would've got what was coming to him. He needs to be humbled.
@@TrashisCoolFr
Sounds to me that dude is just calling it pranks as an excuse at this point 😐
That's the only kind of prank. The alternative you described is a crime, not a prank.
Those are the best kind. My favorite is the dude who dresses up like a shrub, stands still, and then moves when people walk by. It's always a loud shriek or startled flinch, followed by genuine humble laughter.
That ground hog was petty
I seriously feel bad for good cops like this that don’t abuse their power and actually do their job because cops are often stereotyped to be bad people and bossy. Good on this guy.
The problem isn't that there are bad cops. The problem is that there is not enough police oversight, and there are not enough protections for citizens _against_ bad cops. The fact that they can actually just murder you, maim you, or ruin your life by planting evidence in absence of a video recording is not conducive to public trust.
It'd be like if murder was legal, and everyone was opposed to making it illegal because they were too busy praising all the people out there who don't murder others on principle. I'm glad the good cops exist. But that is tangential to the actual issue.
F that he's just virtue signaling. If you have to do a good deed to SHOW it off to everyone then you're not a good person.
Besides they should be ashamed of this kind of illegal shit from cops and not want to show it off. I dunno they're stupid I'm not buying this shit.
I don't think it's a stereotype, but okay.
That clip was basically an illustration of the police force. 1 half bad, 1 half ok. Only this time the good one actually did something.
That's part of it too... The police can be such a "us versus them", "brotherhood" mentality, a lot of good cops feel peer pressured to cover for the bad ones, and when they don't, the whole precinct treats them like a traitor.
Good on that deputy. I've seen the full footage and that cop was flat out flying. Passing in non-passing areas, even using his lights for no reason other than he was apparently in a hurry.
Link?
link pls
Those of y'all asking for the link, links in RUclips comments often get murked unfortunately. But DailyDose has it in the description as the first video you can find there.
the rock vs paper got me LMAO
"Friendly Fire Will Not Be Tolerated"
I personally think police should be held to a higher standard and face bigger consequences than citizens, as they’re the ones who are supposed to set a good example and enforce it.
i mean normal citizens dont get fired from speeding so he kinda got a bigger punishment haha
@@harryhanddrawn I think he got fired for resisting and fleeing not speeding
@@harryhanddrawn If he was a black citizen, he woulda got shot.
How can we trust law enforcement to enforce laws fairly if they don't follow the law themselves?
And this cop was so arrogant too. I'm glad he got charged, hope the charges stick
That’s confusing and discourages becoming a cop, everyone should be equal under the law. What matters isn’t changing the rules, it’s properly enforcing the rules against these cops.
1:38 i love when pranks are actually just pranks and everyone can have a good laugh about it😂
Exactly. A prank where you hurt someone, insult them, break something or interfere too much with their job is not a good prank, it's a crime.
Instead of mean, pranks, which most people seem to love also. Shaking my head. I do not understand, laughing at other people’s pain, whether it be physical or mental.
Ya the guard was a good sport
@@LeeLLewis Agreed, though it is odd. See, when done on purpose, that's mean-spirited and I agree. There are those rare instances when someone suffers a misfortune and you still can't help but laugh. I point to random accidents. You know you shouldn't but a laugh escapes you anyways.
Unlike that passenger who acted like she wanted to crash the helicopter.
The groundhog and the dramatic cat are funny asf
that groundhog gon start up his villan arc
i like how the helicopter one said "professional, do not attempt" implying that she knew what she was doing😂

@@thedutchbrothers1866 Thanks for putting that disclaimer there. I would not have been able to detect that. .-_-.
That skateboard prank was great. Made it look like he was going to, but he didn’t, and instead just ran to the door to skateboard outside. Broke no rules and got a laugh out of the guard. That’s how it’s done. Unlike the garbage that passes for "pranks" these days.
Edit: Oh, wow. It appears I've somehow offended everybody by...let me see here...ah yes, making an observation and complimenting a person's quality of character. I'm sorry. Here, is this comment more to y'all's liking: "How dare that disgusting, vile individual do something funny and lighthearted! He should have gone the path of the funny pranksters nowadays and thrown a bunch of paint-filled water balloons around in the store!" My apologies, I'll never make a positive observation of anybody again. From now on, I'll lead by y'all's example and just criticize everything.
Yes, that was indeed what happened in the video
Oh what an hero... he changed the world
I'm surprised people can still do proper pranks

and got to hand it to the guard for not getting mad, because his job necessitates him to do so. Once in while, we just need some dumb fun like this.
Orcas are smart. They're slowly becoming boat engineers to figure out the weakpoints.
The ground hog had me rollin 😂
The fact that the cop saw nothing wrong with going nearly double the speed limit because _'he was going to work'_ is frankly astonishing.
This video, did indeed, put a smile on my face. Thank you DDOI for always making us laugh.

Have another listen, I'm pretty sure on this DDoI Jason said "hopefully this video put a smell on your face". 🦨👃🏼
