This is an awesome song sung awesomely by Alfie Boe as part of the VE Day Celebration on May 9, 2015. Actually, I think another version I have might be better audio than this and I might upload it later, but this is pretty good. Alfie recorded this song early on in his career and fans have been wanting him to do it again for years. Personally, it's a very special song and I thank him from the bottom of my heart for treating us to this inspiring song one more time.

Perfect! I just listened to Andrea Bocelli's version, not even close to Alfie's version. This voice is what the song needs, strength, confidence, solid support and advice!
Alfie's baritone is is so good you kind of forget he is a tenor, and then he goes tenor and it just perfect. very few people have such a competent range.
What a glorious voice, his " Bring him home" can make you cry.
Wonderful vocalist who sang Forever Young at USA Memorial 🇺🇸 Day concert 7 years back. His show of patriotism for his own country, filled his presence with respect for my homeland. He is unique in all ways. God bless you both

Just listened to him sing Bring Him Home from Les Mis. The best I’ve ever heard. Up until today Colm’s version was my favorite. This was unbelievable!

I would never give him a thumbs down. I’ve probably listened to his “Bring Him Home” several hundred times.
But I’m not terribly offended either. I really didn’t like this arrangement (not his fault, I realize), and I thought his voice sounded a bit tired.

How many people know that this song actually came from a musical and would actually watch it or care about it's origins? The travesty of theft! People forget about the origins of songs, like Swing Low Sweet Chariot, actually a negro spiritual, written by a slave about slavery and the hopeful abolishment thereof, yet it's used to promote rugby?! I don't think so, certainly shouldn't be allowed!
