I feel like this implies that whatever nation Vita comes from was given the Cascadia treatment in some invasion. They probably revolted against Federation rule, most likely planting the seeds to the cascadian conflict. In retaliation, my best guess is the Federation lit whatever nation Vita comes from ablaze. Like presidia getting nuked, or like on M015 of Project wingman
Just finished Conquest Mode on Project Wingman. Those PW-MK1s were a challenge. I was throwing my own body left and right as I manoeuvred through dense clouds, X-PFs, PW-MK1 and the airships. So glad I’ve won

The airwing is far larger than K-9 flight and since this is fiction would have their own protagonist powered aces as well, including one Pete "Maverick" Mitchell. Such a "Roosevelt vs Roosevelt" situation is somewhat interesting. If they claim to be the "descendants of those who shall not be ruled" then let them prove themselves against the real deal. Guess a skin mod might be useful here as the F-14 is playable... if only this were not a PS5 exclusive.
