Yeah they all look polished. Unfortunately when people make these sets in frames they clean them to look as good as possible. Awesome to hear about the other one. $1900! Wow! That’s awesome! I was wondering what happened with it. Thanks for the update.

When I finished recording and really looked at them it's really obvious they were heavily polished. Whats interesting is that the toning happened after the polishing. Happy to have the set, it still looks cool. I was very happy to get $1900 given the grade of the coin, if it had gotten the MS65 I was hoping for I probably would have gotten double. Hard to complain though, I just hope i don't regret selling it, it's a one of a kind.
He's correct, most times those type sets are usually almost always full of worn, cleaned and polished coins to make them look as nice as possible. Consequently, it does lower the values of them considerably.

The Peace is still a good looking coin. Bummer on taped back. I like the strategy though of taking flyers on the sets. You never know.
