    Second ionization energy is always more than the first ionization energy (IE2> IE1) always

      Most of the elements of s block is metal but H is a gas .

      Because hydrogen has higher ionisation energy in comparison to alkali metals as well as high electron gain enthalpy both of which are not general properties of alkali metals

      water is polar solvent so H is having partial positive charge while O is having partial negative charge
