Hi Jeanette, I'm so glad I saw your video a friend of mine wants me to embroider daughters name on a hooded sherpa throw what type of font did you use? or is best to make name stand out?
Did you use tear away for the back of the embroidery? Or was that cut away? I’m trying to embroider a blanket but wasn’t sure which stabilizer would be easiest to remove.
Also, if I’m embroidering a design should I try heat soluble topper or would it still be easy to take off with water soluble if I cut the back like you did?
What weight is the tear away? what needle size did you use? is it a 40 or 60 WT thread? The water soluble topper what weight? inquiring minds want to know. Also, how did you determine the needle threader did not work? I have had that issue but it was the position of the needle. I was not putting it in correctly even though I thought with the flat back that could not happen. From what location did you get the replacement? How did you find instructions to replace the part? THANK YOU !!!!! Love the video!
Hi Needlepoint, Here are your answers: -Used 40wt thread with 75/11 needle (I only use 60wt thread for small fonts along with a 65/9 needle) -Regular Water soluble topper. Don't believe these come in weight. -The needle threader was bent when changing the needles. It's happened on my six needle machine. If you google Brother Needle threader you will see stores that carry them. Don't buy just one. I learned the hard way so I ordered several. -If you search RUclips you will find videos showing how to change this. It's not hard and it will save you a trip to the repair shop.
Nice job.
Hi Allison! Thanks so much. It was fun making this!
Quick and easy video, thanks Jeanette!
You are so welcome!

HI G-Mama. It all depends on what the customer wants.
Hi I'm new to your channel. Love your videos. The project was beautiful. Would you please tell me what font and size you used?
Hi PJ. The Font is Times New Roman in 2 .5 inches.

Hi Ariana. I used tear away for the blanket. If you need to add a topper I would recommend using the water soluble.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts Thank you! 🤗
What size is the mighty hoop you used for this project?
Hi Sandi! I used the 8x13 Mighty Hoop.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts Thank you. I am looking to purchase the 10x17 size. That one looked like it was a good size.

Hi what do you recommend to price on something like this?
I recommend watching the videos I have on pricing. It depends on lots of factors including location.
Hi Jeanette! I have basically the same setup when doing blankets and large heavy items. What weight of tearaway are you using?
Hi Barb. I'm used the medium weight.
Curious, how much do you charge?
I charged $15 for this job. Cost includes, stabilizer, design and time.
What font did you use?
Hi Allison! I use the Mayah font that I purchased from Stitchtopia.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts how big was the font? I noticed they have lots of sizes. Thanks.
@@allisonholloway833 I believe for this blanket I used the 2 inch size.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts Thank you. It looked huge.
