This was amazing! I'm 66 and grew up listening to D. P. To hear this done in this style is outstanding. Something else I noticed. Sina is all about music. Obviously, people come to her channel for her drumming skills. In this video, there was very little about Sina and her drum skills. It was all about the various musicians. Beautiful job.

I also just commented similarly in another forum (Patreon), that Sina was content providing rhythm support and not grabbing the spotlight. The fact that she lets her colleagues shine and allows them to do their best is one of the aspects that makes her so special. That and the fact she is a true humanitarian... This isn't even a comment on the song or music, but I needed to mention and add that these qualities (including her amazing talent) is what draws in supporters (like me and her other patreon members). Rock on!!

Was watching on PBS last night Elton John & Bernie Taupin awarded a Gershwin Award (?) from Library Of Congress and was marveling that closeups of Elton on piano showed no music or notes, but these were iconic songs he’s been banging out for decades (Saturday Night & Your Song) … Sina & Friends seriously put in the time!! 🌴

As a former drummer in a rock cover band, i noticed Sina on you tube doing skills that were so amazing to her age back then. I was so sure she would be great some day. And voila , here she XXX No, This GREAT band is doing THIS 😍 Whoow What a master piece 👌👍👍👍
Superb cover of a great song. I saw DP perform this at Knebworth Park in June 1985, where they were supported by Scorpions, Meat Loaf and a few other bands. I remember Ian Gillan making a rubbish joke about the song being based on a football team called the Perfect Street Rangers. Then he giggled so much during Knocking At Your Back Door that he could barely finish it, but that's another story.

Extremely stressful with the 3ver escalating Soviet vs. Allied arms race. At the same time, a wondrous adventure. The culture, food, villages, and towns. The autobahn!!
Watching each of you. The smiles are youthful and full of hope.
I get a warm feeling that we did our jobs of that dangerous time well.

Take a classic song by a legendary British group, add a horn and string section and have it played by a bunch of German youngsters and what happens? Something quite incredible, that's what.
I know it sounds patronizing but it really is wonderful to see young people with such passion and talent directing it in a positive direction.
Sina, you are wonderful- a fixture in my video selection on a weekly. Both you and James Bell , another prodigy such as yourself, were 13 years old when I started follwing you. I have listened to this numerous times. All the musicians play wonderfully, but I have to give credit to the sound engineering. The sound is big and consistent, but not sterile in the least. This sounds great when listened to with good speakers and headphones. Good job.

I will try to ask in the Discord chat tomorrow, but in case I cannot make it: What will happen with the boat? Will there be new tenants / new owners, etc.? Can it be kept as a studio and rented out to other artists / musicians? Can it be preserved as a Hall of Fame so that in 25 or 50 years from now, the next generation can remember where the magic started before Sina took London by storm and became an International Rock Star and a household name and changed the world through music? Not sure if I went too far there, but we'll see what the future holds... In 50 years, it might go for a few million at auction!!
@Herr.Spoerl Thanks for your response... And yes, I am aware that Sina's legacy started at home with Dear Dad (Mike "Wilbury" Döring)... I was just being a bit silly (and dramatic) as I tend to do with my comments... But you never know... the "boat" could become legendary (like the "Abbey Road" or "Muscle Shoals" of The Netherlands)... Cheers, all!!

I was an adult when this was originally released by Deep Purple. This version is to put it mildly simply stunning. I love the orchestral and brass additions, the arrangement is nigh on perfect. This is so hard to say which version that I prefer. Well done everyone involved. Brilliant!
