Always a fan of Citizen. The dial is beautiful and the small seconds is nicely done. I’m not a fan of integrated bracelets but this is a lot of watch for the money. Your videos are always top quality! Very well done! 🥃
Buy one or choose a different option. This pursuit of perfection is a waste of time. Even If they put the crown at 3:00 and made it 38mm you would only find something else that it needs to be perfect.
I have one in my collection and love everything about it . I think the small seconds is an awesome idea . I’ve looked a few times and it has not hit my local store . Great job , I enjoy your presentation’s !
I love everything about this watch, except the case (size and construction), the crown position, the size of the hands, the bracelet, the clasp, and how it wears on wrist. But other than that, amazing.
With every new video you increase the quality of your content; a Doxa sub 200T in the pipeline? I think that’s a very appealing watch for a lot of ppl that stayed away from it because it was too big. Cheers, mate!
I think these are a great introduction to the line and nice to see Citizen stepping up their dial dial game in an affordable package , mind you a touch of taper on the bracelet wouldn't go amiss + ideal sizing with the clasp might be an issue but overall a cracking job.
Thank you Andrei. Fine review. Beautiful watch but I really like V1 over this offering (I need a date…..when you are ancient you will get it 🤣) Great review!
As the owner of a 2021 Frederique Constant Highlife COSC in blue, bought for my birthday in April '21 for £1275, this new Tsuyosa looks very close indeed - if they adopt a QR system for this with a rubber strap option/release for an extra £50, it would be incredible value for money.
One thing I have read is discussed about this watch is the lack of bracelet tapering. Are there bracelets on the market who can replace the standard bracelet?
I just wish the bracelet had flat links to fit the case of the watch better. It's the only thing keeping me from getting one at this point. Oh, and it should have been a mil or two smaller imo.
I like the watch and the review 😊, seams luxurious, BUT missing out on date window ok. But still just 50mWR 🤷🏻.. come on Citizen.. Thanks for a nice review 🙏
Congratulations for the review, but I have to disagree with you on one thing: you said that the champagne version is not elegant, I don't agree, on the contrary, it is precisely that color that makes it more elegant than the version with the blue dial. The fact that the second hand is orange gives that extra touch of contrast to the dial that does not make it monotonous, in fact I bought the champagne version and it is wonderful. In any case this is just my opinion, although both versions are beautiful 😊
Tsuyosa is a hit, modern with classic touch, change all the image of the brand...but i prefere big second who give more life to the watch,of course its just my personal opinion
Great video, but what do you think about this watch against the prx. They are similar and even if the prx is pretty much better all around I think , is it 2x times better for the price which is doubled? I’m trying to understand if the extra 400euros are worth it or just mainly branding.
I own the "old" tsuyosa and I prefer the bracelet look there. The middle links are kind of too wide for me here and the lack of taper sucks. The clasp is kind of lame on the old one with the thin stamped steel though.
@@BraveBeaters Absolutely. 👌🏻 I have last year blue 39mm (this year replaced by green dial), however in future I would love to add worldtimer or perpetual calendar with FC manufacture caliber.
The Tsuyosa watches would be perfect in a smaller case, anywhere between 34 to 36mm. 40mm is kind of old-fashioned nowadays, we are slowly heading towards smaller watches and getting a 40mm behemouth doesn't feel like it will have lasting appeal. I'd also like to see a high accuracy quartz in a Tsuyosa, Citizen is know for making the best quartz movements in the world why not give us one in a mass market watch like this one?
So this is as good quality as a santos or alpine eagle? Really? I was thinking about adding an alpine eagle to the collection for the dial and the bracelet. I may check this out anyways its so inexpensive.
Not a big fan of small seconds. Not a big fan of butterfly clasps. Not a big fan of the lack of taper. Not a big fan of the price hike. Not a big fan of the lack of date window. Hard pass. I can easily get over the cheap clasp of the original. I don't see it when I'm wearing it. It was already effectively perfect, and I would have happily welcomed a guilloche edition with an upgraded clasp and small price increase if everything else was the same.
@@BraveBeatersRetail on the old model was $450. Retail on the new model is $595. Grey market old tsuyosa can be as low as $229. Grey market on new model is $399. That's a big increase.
I do appreciate the extent you are going with your videos. Very good quality content! Thank you!
Thank you very much! :)
Always a fan of Citizen. The dial is beautiful and the small seconds is nicely done. I’m not a fan of integrated bracelets but this is a lot of watch for the money. Your videos are always top quality! Very well done! 🥃
Thank you Alvin! :)
A 38mm version with the crown at 3 o’clock would be perfection
For sure! I'd buy one :)
I dont really mind the crown at 4o'clock. But 38mm sure is the sweet spot!
Buy one or choose a different option. This pursuit of perfection is a waste of time. Even If they put the crown at 3:00 and made it 38mm you would only find something else that it needs to be perfect.
Beautiful dial
The small seconds subdial is so cool
Agree! :)
It's majestic! 🤩🤩🤩 It's like an omega aqua terra on the cheap.
Nice with color scheme & the sub dial compliments this model as a dress watch perfectly ❤
Stupendo!
Finalmente senza lente magnificateice senza data e con la secondina a ore sei lo adoro ❤
Cheers! :)
Nice dial. I don't care for integrated bracelets but I watch your videos no matter the subject. Great work!
Haha! Cheers! ❤️❤️❤️
I have one in my collection and love everything about it . I think the small seconds is an awesome idea . I’ve looked a few times and it has not hit my local store . Great job , I enjoy your presentation’s !
Thank you very much! :)
The dial is wonderful!
Wow citizen are doing great job so far! What a watch i love it i hope citizen continue on these automatic watchez
Wow, another beauty from Citizen, who is taking the Seiko's niche step by step and non stop.
Thank you for another supervid friend!
Saludos!
Thank you! :)
Citizen is doing great in extending the popularity of the line. Maybe it will get the Solar Chronograph variation next. Thanks for the great video 👍🏽
That's a good option, yes. but to keep the case at 40 mm. Cheers!
Nice upgrade on an already good watch.
haha! yes, well said!
This is going to be my very first "nice watch" I get for myself at the ripe old age of 57. I think it's stunning and an absolute bargain.
So balanced and beautiful
Well said :) cheers!
Your video, shott and color grading it's stunning
Thank you :)
I love everything about this watch, except the case (size and construction), the crown position, the size of the hands, the bracelet, the clasp, and how it wears on wrist. But other than that, amazing.
ahahahahah! The dial must be good :D
Yes did enjoy this vídeo. Really like how you present all watches. This Tsuyosa soon is gonna be in my wrist
Thank you very much! :) it's a very nice watch to pickup, for sure.
I like this tsuyosa a lot, considering as a summer watch…And I love your video quality!!!
It is fantastic! And all of this for only $300…wow!
Just looks stunning, I will be going for the blue variant👍
Black is nice as well. But it comes on leather...
For that price, cannot go wrong. It’s a very good looking watch.
Thats a really nice looking piece 😍
I confirm! Cheers! :)
Exactly the review I was looking for as I am seriously considering this model thanks for the excellent review.
This watch is just amazing! For the price, I consider it a must have. Excellent cost-benefit for sure.
Just got this on the wrist today. Immense value for money!
Very nice! agree. Massive value offered!
Presenting these videos makes you, in my opinion, a
Good “Citizen”
:)))))))

Multumesc, Alin! :) I should grab one as soon as It reaches b&b
I think these are a great introduction to the line and nice to see Citizen stepping up their dial dial game in an affordable package , mind you a touch of taper on the bracelet wouldn't go amiss + ideal sizing with the clasp might be an issue but overall a cracking job.
I agree with the bracelet taper. :)
Thank you Andrei. Fine review. Beautiful watch but I really like V1 over this offering (I need a date…..when you are ancient you will get it 🤣) Great review!
AHHAHA, funny! It depends, I have a friend which is dependent to a date as well, because he signs a lot of documents daily. Cheers
Thanks for making me aware of this new Tsuyosa launch.
You are the Christopher Nolan of watch videos! Great content and excellent shooting!
Great Video, awesome photography. I love that you also look at these kind of watches
I love small seconds, but would prefer same color on the seconds subdial. It's too loud now.
According to Citizen's website, they retail for $595 US. Where do you see it being offered for $300?
Yup, ebay or chono24 shows the "real" price
Love this Citizen. Great video as always
Dam guess we finally will be adding a 5th watch to the "collection" loved this model but wow the dial is beautiful
haha! Can be a great option for a 5th :)

Totally agree! :)
The problem of your videos, it is that usually the watch looks better in your shots than in real life ;)
hahaha! This one is very good, same as the video :D Cheers!
Absolutely stunning!

Thank you very much! :) Yes it needs to be around 300 Euros, ish.
Beautiful watch, but waiting for other dial colors.
They wil release, for sure
I am looking forward to the NJ0180 series (ti and 100m resistance).
They did an awesome job beautiful watch I would actually buy this since the sizing is good.. if I wanted a watch with an integrated bracelet
Great video, I’ve got the Tiffany it’s great 👍🏴❤️
So it's light blue? It looks dark or navy blue to me in pictures.Which is it?
A lime green small seconds hand would hv been a nice pop of colour contrast.
Just few hours ago I saw Citizen ad. They got new one Titanium 11mm thick for 400€
looks beautiful
Great looking watch...
One thing I have read is discussed about this watch is the lack of bracelet tapering.
Are there bracelets on the market who can replace the standard bracelet?
Stunning watch, but why oh why no quartz version?
Great review, beautifully filmed. I really like the watch, but it's a little big, I would prefer 38mm.
Thank you! I agree, has a bit of presence on the wrist. I guess these wide outdoor shots help to identity such things :) Cheers
Can we swap the new bracelet for the old one on this Tsuyosa?
wow! this watch looks like what you buy when you are higly intelligent and have a very good taste
It's not a bad choice for $300 :)
Citizen rules! 💪😎
I just wish the bracelet had flat links to fit the case of the watch better. It's the only thing keeping me from getting one at this point. Oh, and it should have been a mil or two smaller imo.
Nice. Very nice.
Cheers! :)
The dial is gorgeous.
However, I wonder why they chose the 8xxx movement over 9xxx movement.
lên máy 9 bắt buộc phải Made in japan. Giá đội đáng kể và sẽ giá trị hơn nhiều nhỉ
I have choice dilemma: what to buy, Tsuyosa small second or NJ0180 “Zenshin” titanium small second?…
I like the watch and the review 😊, seams luxurious, BUT missing out on date window ok. But still just 50mWR 🤷🏻.. come on Citizen..
Thanks for a nice review 🙏
Cheers, Gino!
They already have a model with date window 🤦🏼
@@Big_Boss92 yes it Cale later, but i bought the Titanium version, with datewindow and small second.. wich is much better in my opinion and taste 👍🏻

Citizen > Seiko … Just Saying.
Haha! Agree!
Nah! Seriously, Citizens have budget high beat movement unlike Seiko. Again they have great vintage Watches in their catalogue.
100% ❤
my only problem is that Citizen offer a lot of overdesigned watches
Looks to me that the 5 and 7 oclock markers are crooked or.at least a bit off. Might be just me, i guess
Good video what camera do you flim with
Tsuyosa is a hit, modern with classic touch, change all the image of the brand...but i prefere big second who give more life to the watch,of course its just my personal opinion
Yes, I feel you :)
We need a 35mm of this!
Does it have to be a dress watch? What about a daily driver? I feel like this would be a great daily driver but maybe I’m wrong
Citizen is my favorite watch manufacturer, I prefer wearing it to my Tissot watches
it looks fantastic ! but am I wrong about the price? I found its almost $595 from the official Citizen page.
yes. the real price is of 300$, check chrono24 or ebay.
Great video, but what do you think about this watch against the prx. They are similar and even if the prx is pretty much better all around I think , is it 2x times better for the price which is doubled? I’m trying to understand if the extra 400euros are worth it or just mainly branding.

I agree, the bracelet looks was better on the initial version.
I like it.
How much is the Price difference from the previous model?
Amazing what you can get for $300. Unfortunately, I have too many watches and I am trying to wear the ones I spent stupid money on.
Hi! Where can I find this in Europe (Romania)? Thanks!
Beautiful dial but the lack of taper of the bracelet is a huge miss. Less elegant now…
Yes. 0 taper. But better made compared to the previous one with spaced links.
i switch out most bracelets / bands so not as big an issue for me
Its difficult if not impossible to find an integrated bracelet for this watch I guess. Or maybe the bracelet from the 1st gen tsuyosa fits?
@@csbc92it doesnt. The "endlinks" measurement is different.
Oof... You're right. It didn't hit me until that wrist roll at 5:21. Unfortunate.
Where are you finding this watch for $300? It’s $450 for Labor Day on the citizen website.
The best integrated watches between 1.5K and 6K are Frederique Constant Highlife line (depends of complication you want). Simple.
One of my favs, yes! Cosc, 39 - 41 mm versions, extra strap :)

Also why doesn’t citizen place a 9000 movement?
Oh shoot! They literally know what I wanted to purchase if it possibly existed at Citizen. And they know exactly what my budget is! Unbelievable!
when will this be released ?
The next one will be with the date window with this dial.
More watch design should eliminate the date window. If I had to fault this design, I would say the crown might be too small, for me.
wait what do you mean the same price? In US it's $595
thank you
50wr? 😢
So this is as good quality as a santos or alpine eagle? Really? I was thinking about adding an alpine eagle to the collection for the dial and the bracelet. I may check this out anyways its so inexpensive.
Where are you getting this for 300$???
Ebay/chrono24
Can’t find one for 300$ tho
I‘ll choose citizen over chopard alpine eagle even though I can afford the chopard
:D
Единственное что не хватает этим часам это 10 бар и хромированную секундную стрелку,или красную
+loses the magnifying wart
+textured dial
+Small seconds subdial
-crown at 4 o clock 😩
I need a 36mm

Btw first

I think the sub seconds dial and the crown look cheap compared to the rest of the watch, shame really as that dail is fantastic for the price.
