This was the night of the Heysel Disaster. A very sad and dark night in football. May those who died that night continue to Rest In Peace.
It was probably the most dignified way that Graham could've signed Granada off the air for that night, Ricardo...if I was in his position, I'dve done the same thing. o.o
When things ran late Granada would just get on with it and closedown without the usual Granada theme tune and on-screen clock ticking.
After that evening in Belgium. English clubs were banned from playing in European competitions for 5 years.
