My theory is that, since Jotaro spends time with characters from other arcs, most of which have finished their own stories, he probably has heard how they end. Then, at the end of the game he uses the power of Eyes over Heaven not only to change the aftermath of his fight with Dio so that his friends live, but also to make changes to the other parts too.
Well, the ending is implied that Eyes of Heaven rewrites in a way so all allies survive, much like what happened in Stone Ocean.

It wasn’t until I saw Kakyoin, Avdol and Iggy at the airport did it click for me that the other pictures didn’t have anyone dead, and Gyro was with Johnny against alternate Diego, Caesar was with Joseph at the race track, Shigechi was eating with Josuke, it broke my heart honestly.
And Baron Zeppeli was there with Jonathan against Dio Brando. Don't forget that funny guy. But yeh, Iggy and Kakyoin bein' alive made me smile. Those were the best boys.
And in the Stone Ocean photo, it looks like Jotaro worked the hell out, got his muscles back and put on his old uniform as it was probably the only thing that fit him. Heck, he probably trained the world part of his stand even more.
Official timelines in my head-canon.
Not only that, but for all we know, the gang never really went to prison. Maybe they did their misdeeds, but not roped in due to Pucci's machinations.

This is my official timeline. I absolutely love the fact that in this timeline, Jotaro actually took the time to be a father for Jolyne. I really wish that I could see Jotaro hunting down Kira while Jolyne is just wandering around acting like a little kid.

-In Golden Wind, Polnareff could possibly be with Iggy and Avdol.
-Jolyne could activate her stand even earlier (Conflicts with the arrow and all in DiU)
-Jotaro wouldn't end up divorced.

What bothers me is that Kakyoin is on the other side on the picture, when Jotaro and Joseph are going back to Japan in their direction. Is Kakyoin flying somewhere else? Does he become a part of Vento Aureo in this new timeline?
If you see more closely, Jotaro and Joseph are walking to where the rest of the crusaders are, so maybe they are going to say goodbye to Polnareff, Iggy and Avdol, and later go back to Japan with Kakyoin
The picture is of them returning to Egypt, where everyone had been convalescing.
Aside from them walking TOWARDS the other crusaders, Jotaro and Joseph did tell Polnareff that they would be there when the formerly deceased Crusaders exited from the hospital, the six now meeting up at the airport.

It's not DIO's influence, that's just how acquiring a stand works... it has nothing to _do_ with DIO. DIO is just a vampire, and if it was his influence causing them to get stands then why would he let the only people able to _stop_ him get stands?

Given that they had their Stands even after he died, I figure that the family already had that potential and that Dio with Johnathan’s body just triggered the emergence somehow.

@💀💀Pico💀💀 Part 7 is an alternate universe. Think of it like you think of P3P in the Persona Series, Ares/Orion in Inazuma Eleven or DBGT/DBH in DB universe. Part 6 crew DID win. Emporio killed Pucci before the reset completed, and even if it were to complete Giorno would destroy it because he has GER, a Stand that functions AUTOMATICALLLY when the user is in danger. As Jotaro and the rest of the people died before the reset they come back but in different bodies. Everything else stays the same

If Jolyne's 8 in 1999...does that mean Jotaro was married sometime around..1990 or1991? Since Jolyne would've been born in 91 or 92 since she's 19 in Stone Ocean..which took place around 2011 - 2012...and Stardust Crusaders is during 1989....so, Jotaro somehow got hitched a year or 2 AFTER Stardust Crusaders.

I love how this ending means that, even if they are alternate universes, all the heroes get their happy endings after all, especially Jolyne. Not gonna lie, when i saw the photo of the Golden Wind gang my first thought was 'TEAM BUCCIARATI!!!'.
Also wonder if little Jolyne will still meet her friends from prison. If it happened in Stone Ocean's ending, strings of fate and all that, it can happen here.
Another big question is, this was during Part 8's middle run, so you gotta take some perspective what would be an even worse adversary than Dio Over Heaven

So from what I gathered from the epilogue scene, Jotaro sort of neglected his daughter, Joylene as a child but in the new timeline, he’s closer to her.

Kira was actually coming to sit with them. See, after exchanging faces with Kosaku and being discovered by Hayato, he was shown how far he'd let himself be consumed by his fetish. He eventually confronted the duwang gang, and they then spared him due to his genuine regret for his actions.
He also never killed reimi or anyone important to the story, so he instead went into counselling for his obsession and is learning new, healthy ways to cope with and engage in his fetish.
Kosaku's wife is unhappy, but there's not really anything she can change at this point lmao, so she continues to live with Kira as she wasn't even really close to kosaku anyways.
This image is post-therapy kira, where he's finally overcome his terrible desires and is now a part of the duwang gang. He hangs out with Josuke and the others out of appreciation for their actions and has even had all of his murderous urges removes by Rohan.
All is good in morioh.

Looking at this now, this may or may not have foreshadowed Wonder of U. Though a stand that's not as powerful as World Over Heaven, it's still a very powerful stand that appears and control the very fabric and essence known as the flow of calamity. A power that could only be overcome by going beyond the normal limits and logic set.
And since the story of Part 8 was never written up until this point, that means little to no changes has ever occurred. Everyone that was caught in the flow of calamity would still meet their fate before Gappy rose up to the fight.

I will say, the idea of a different timeline born from the events of the game is a cool way to do things, especially considering what it means for the rest of the story too overall!

But Pucci doesn't have anything to do with The SBR universe, After Pucci reset the universe the new universe is just part 1-6 without Pucci(aka part 6 practically doesn't happen but the remade part 6 characters still meet). Every character that survived(Like emporio) still knows about the original universe and the new one.(well not exactly, they know something happened tho, only Emporio knows the whole thing because he was there and survived). The SBR universe is a completely different unrelated universe

I like the idea that after the personality switch, Kira slowly started to fall in love with Shinobu and actually treated her like a good wife compared to real Kosaku. Hayato didn't believe all that at first, but a letter from a phycologist was used as a argument of such a change
only a facial change, no personality change. Also Kosaku wasn't bad, just a bit boring to Shinobu, who was by comparison far more conceited.

Ahhh jotaro playing good dad now ehh, thats good. (This time during DIU, Jotaro brought Jolyne so she wouldnt be a delinquent. Whereas in the DIU anime/Manga, Jolyne is just at home being neglected by her Jotaro. Also Jolyne is 7 in this not 8.)
Theory:
This could take place in the timeline after Emporio kills Pucci and the universe is reset again. It's said part 1-5 is still canon and just the events of part 6 never happened.
He nevers says jolyne name soooo this COULD be the irene version of the time line and the final version.
