I can not wait until the anime comes on screen, i had to skip every Joestar Backstory except of: Jonathan, Joseph, Jotaro and Josuke i already saw the show so i already know what there Backstory was. I (accidentally) also watch a little bit of Giorno for 5 sec and i pause the video and also skip that.

Valentine : able to jump between AUs _and_ able to redirect all misfortune to others, yet incapable of getting rid of the Infinite Spin by himself.
It's pretty consistent if you ask me. x)

I think most people who died in the respective parts lived, good or bad. Caesar, Will, Kakyoin, Shigechi, AKA Everyone lives.
I notice how a lot of people are mentioning how Jojo rewrote things and made it so all the Stardust Crusaders survived...but some seem to be missing something. Notice the pictures. Zeppeli is there watching Jonathan fighting Dio. Joseph and Ceaser are taking on Whamu together. Shigetchi is still alive and hanging out with the guys, and so on. He didn't just rewrite the end of Stardust Crusaders...he rewrote EVERYTHING. Everyone that could live, save Jonathan for obvious reasons, lived! Now I want to see this alternate history! Just imagine what Stardust Crusaders would be like if Ceaser was with them? I sure as hell doubt he would let Joseph slouch!
I can imagine Old Ceasar now. A little bit older-looking, maybe with a bubble-generating Stand that he uses in conjunction with his Hamon powers(really good ones). I'm also thinking he'd probably make more then a little bit of fun of Old Joseph, maybe mock his Engrish, but, as Joseph knows, the Zeppeli clan ALWAYS has your back when the need is dire.

Nehfarius he wouldn't have a stand though. Only reason Joseph got one was because the arrow pierced Johnathan's body. Ceaser had no relation to that.

HP is the perfect representation of Hamon, and thus Hamon practitioners automatically gain it as well. It also would make no sense if I were talking about Gyro, as Gyro doesn't have Hermit Purple. Joseph received the Stand he did not only through Jojo's body, but also his Hamon ability. That's why both Jojo and Joseph have the same Stand. Caesar doesn't need to be part of the bloodline to get HP, he just needs to be a Hamon practitioner. I'm only responding to the theoretical scenario presented by the comment I replied to, where if he had a Stand.

Idk why, but I like the idea that Jotaro and Dio have the same exact stands. Dio, for whatever reason, wants to eradicate all ties to the Joestar bloodline, but he fails to acknowledge that the Joestars are the ones who took him in and even gave him access to his absurd power levels. In essence, he’s more a Joestar than a Brando, even if his shit dad molded him into a villain.
This inescapable connection to the people he hates is represented by Jotaro himself, because Jotaro is Dio if Dio never rejected the Joestars or his humanity. They’re both highly intelligent, yet supremely immature, and blatantly rude to most people who act above them. They’re practically the same person, so their stands are practically the same. The only difference is that Jotaro actually cherishes his family, and is driven to protect, rather than eradicate. Therefore good wins evil loses blah blah Ora Ora etc.
Tldr: I just really like the polarity between Jotaro and Dio, and I appreciate the whole “asspull” nature of them having the same stand a lot more than I probably should.

I want to believe that star Platinum ability is not to be strong and stop time but to copy the stand of your biggest foe. Since konoDIOda is jotaro's biggest enemy jotaro develops stand similar in stats and ability. But if you would use my logic then that would mean: WORLD FINGER!

i feel like theres more of a difference between them than just that. Jotaro, while being blunt, is also very honest. Dio is a manipulator and a liar. Jotaro doesn't care for power, he just wants to be able to do his own thing. But i agree with what you're saying- they're both highly determined and intelligent, which lends to their respective abilities.

Because Araki has a problem of just killing characters off when he gets bored with them instead of actually giving them a conclusion, take Avdol for example, his death was supposed to be getting shot in the fucking head, wow, such a meaningful death, then because fans wanted him Araki uses the excuse of some brain injury to give Avdol a personality he likes more.
Then he just kills him anyways in a way that's so stupid and meaningless not even Jotaro seems to care.

All of 7 Joestars are almost dead, then DIO tells Josuke that his hair sucks, then he stops time but Josuke gets too mad, to the point that he surpassed time and reality itself.

Dio lost for two reasons. One: because of the ring Jotaro had on him, and the rule that two of the same object from diffrent worlds cancel eachother out. Two: because he tried the whole 'blind him with blood' trick on Jotaro again, when it didn't work the first time(and, in fact, directly led to his DEATH the first time).

I firmly believe that the reason Star Platinum has the same powers as The World is because Jonathan’s soul gave him the ability when the danger signal was sent out to his descendants. It’s also why Joseph had the same powers as Jonathan’s Stand.
I love the fact that this ending works with Stone Oceans ending. It even seems logical together. JoJo really did end well. Our beloved characters got to live long, full lives, Jotaro was a good dad, Jolyne aka Irene didn't go to prison and had a happy life. And the only one we lost was FF :,)

Don't get me wrong, I'm fully aware of how Kira looks as Kosaku, but my reasoning here is that this is meant to be the 'better' outcome of the setting. To me, that includes Kosaku(really, what's to keep him from having a similar slick style when we don't know much about him?) not being a victim. After all, Shigechi is alive in that setting.
To be fair, that might've been left in as intentionally ambiguous for the spooks.

Narancia is alive, so, more Torture Dances!
Baron, Advol, Iggy, Kakyoin, Shugechi, Gangstars, Gyro.
Joylne and Weather might survived because of Pucchi event changed.
Instead he mentioned EOH instead of fighting them.
But i can't say ceasar and others survived because their EOH event happened before they died.

Something interesting I found, Jotaro and Jolyene were really at the center of this game if you think about it.
DIO was the main villain and Jotaro was the one who finally took him out do it was centered around him. But Jolyene was also at the center. This was DIO's true plan that focuses on attaining heaven that he gave to Pucci. But DIO took it further.
I come after playing this and after seeing the pictures of everyone alive and happy, it warmed my heart a lot by just knowing the fact that they didn’t die in a brutal way, it’s just too much feels to experience. Maybe it’s better to have some deaths to create a good history or idk but by just watching them enjoying a good life, it just makes me happy

She finally got to live a life with a father in it.

Which means she will be raised in Japan, won’t have to move to Florida with her mom (cuz she and Jotaro won’t have to divorce) and she won’t end up in prison cuz she will have her father looking out for her and seeing as that Star Platinum is now Over Heaven, no enemy stand will match him.
Also that means Jolyne won’t meet Emporio, Ermes, Foo Fighters, Weather or that obsessive psychopath Anasui. Which for both Jotaro and Jolyne’s sake is for the better.
Jolyne was never interested in him and Jotaro didn’t like him at all. Seeing as that Jotaro in this new timeline still has knowledge of the events of Eyes Of Heaven, he can prevent a lot of things that happened in the original timeline.
So, basically... the end of the game is when "Diamond is Unbreakable" starts?

At the end, they release their own dual Heat Attack together called something like, "Star Platinum Overdrive" or something that combines Star Platinun with Jonathan's Hamon.

In the end credits, Yoshikage is standing with the rest of the DiU cast like they weren't enemies at all. What does this mean? I have come up with only two conclusions:
1) After living with Shinobu, Yoshikage fell in love with her and managed to change his ways, now living a literal quiet life. Maybe he even managed to befriend everyone since he actually didn't kill Shigechi hence why he is in the picture.
2) Yoshikage's new identity was never discovered by the main cast and continued living as Kosaku, continuing his murders. In the picture, he's just randomly walking by.
Makes me wonder how to new timeline of DiU actually goes.
Maybe thats Kosaku himself, and Kira was stopped before taking his body.

Still. Heaven's DIO Skipped Leg Day just coz he has Fists that Alter Reality. Tsk tsk tsk. Arrogance rly does lead to downfall.
Overall, I think the story concept was good, it was just held back a bit by the fact that they had to design it around a game. Things like characters meeting up and having a fight and then retreating to fight later in an almost DBZ like fashion don't really make sense in Jojo where someone almost always dies in a stand fight, but they had to do these things to for the player to actually PLAY the game. I liked how the whole thing was caused by Valentine accidently finding an alternate universe while trying to escape the infinite spin was cool, but some characters didn't really play much of a part, like Gappy and Joshuu. The interactons could have been better as well, during the pillarman fights Jotaro was literally just standing in the background while Joseph(s) fought and talked, and as I said, Gappy didn't really do anything.
I think the whole story could work really well if it was done in a different format and reworked a bit with some character roles and interactions, but it was still fun to watch.
Also, why didn't Valentine just use part 1 Dio or Diego to kill over heaven Dio with D4C
I agree, even when the basic plot is cliché as some people argue, it makes sense in the JJBA universe and I like how it is executed at the beginning (how Valentine is responsible for everything as you say), but definitely the gameplay compromises and tampers a lot of the series essence.
And BTW, believe or not, according to JJBA's wiki the plot was actually supervised by Araki himself, so he is also to blame.

Same type Stand, same line of evolution. Sure, everyone alive beats the whole "sad they died" vibe. But is it bad I'm actually happy they all survived? I know sacrifice and death push the character development and plot forward but is it bad that I am just so happy they all survive? (With how the Jojo curse affects everybody around them, this is a VERY good ending.) I don't care that this is not canon, I am just gonna believe in this!

Honestly even though Jotaro won due to having the same type of stand it didn’t feel like he had plot armor at all. They established the rings at the start of the game so it makes sense he would use them now and we already knew the world and star platinum were the same from Part 3. It’s actually done pretty well.
