Hi JJ, I was interested in learning about Ivermectin as a dewormer for people with Covid and read the lists of the parasites kill with Horse Dewormers. I must have compared 12 different company's products, word for word all identifying the same parasites, but dewormers made with or partially made with Ivermectin also killed, "lung worms."

As one who had a tapeworm, I can speak from experience. My symptoms were intermittent sharp abdominal pains and intermittent bad episodes of diarrhea. Someone in the comments said the doctors treat you like you're crazy- that was my experience, as well.
I just had a felling I had worms and did a lot of research. Natural remedies for intestinal worms include apple cider vinegar, papyia seeds, pumpkin seeds. That didn't work for me. What worked best for me was diatomaceous earth- its finely ground sand- it cuts through the membranes. With smaller worms it may kill them. I eliminated segments. That's how I knew I had tapeworm. I finally got a doctor who prescribed me paraquantel- wicked stuff. Made me nauseous and dizzy. But, about 5 days later, I suddenly had horrific cramps- almost like labor. It turned out to be about three feet long. What a relief to finally get rid of it. Good luck to anyone dealing with this problem.

i became extremely ill for many years often going to hospital to be treated for pain and gastrointestinal distress and pancreatitis. after about 20 years of this i became very serious about finding a cure for the problem. I myself had concluded that the only plausible explanation for an illness lasting so long and causing such serious symptoms and real physical effects such as malabsorbtion and malnutrition with without diagnosis had to be a tapeworm. i had a number of food intolerances and became very depressed and withdrawn. i ended up on social security disability and just lied on the couch taking drugs like morphine and valium and smoking large amounts of cannabis just to cope and stay alive. im 5'10" and i was down to 114# at one point. my dr was typical of western doctors and told me that i was wrong about the prevalence of tapeworm in western developed nations and dismissed me as a drug seeker and i was even diagnosed with idiopathic somatoform disorder. they even suggested i was "malingering" at one point. i finally decided to demand deworming medication and the doctor begrudgingly complied and gave me mebendazole 2 tablets 10 days apart. i had done research and was intermittently eating pumpkin seeds and eating raw coconut. when i finally got the mebendazole i took the first tablet and then after 10 days i took the second. the day i took the second tablet i got some raw coconut shavings and took the recommended 1 cup with a full glass of water before bed. the next day i was astounded to find a 3 foot tapeworm in the toilet after the morning bm. i gathered this worm up in a tupperware container with the stool and took it to my dr. he told me to take it to the lab thinking i had taken a stool sample without his order and was kind of annoyed and treated me the same as always like i was crazy and he just humored me. when i presented the sample the lab sent me back to the dr he took a look and was still acting like i had gathered it up from the ground or something and was trying to trick him he didn't believe it came from my body. i was incensed but insisted he take the sample and have it tested to see what it was. i think it was either a beef tapeworm or a feline tapeworm but still not sure. he said the lab couldn't identify it. the next day another portion the head of the worm became lodged in my anus and i became extremely agitated and had to pull it out with a wad of paper and it was like a gray gelatinous mass with little black teeth around a single round mouth at the top with more around the edges it had multiple "mouths". suffice to say i was right and finally began to recover. that was about 8 years ago and my body is still rebuilding and rebalancing. it almost seems unbelievable to me if i hadn't actually experienced it myself. always go by your gut instinct. i knew i was infected for years but the dr didn't listen. im convinced that if i had been seen by the right doctor they would have caught it. my dr to this day is still a little reluctant to admit what happened but as i began to recover he finally realized i wasn't "faking" it and had actually been infected with this monster for more than 20 years. im 57 and i continue to recover and rebalance.

When teaching school in a rural farming area of the US, one of my third grade girls complained of belly ache and asked to use the restroom. Shortly after leaving the room she began screaming so loud we heard it. I left the class in charge of an eighth grader and ran to see what what was wrong. The child was standing with her panties down, hysterically crying in front of the stall, pointing to the toilet and saying something about a white snake. I looked in the unflushed toilet to see a BM with three large tape worms, one of which appeared to be moving. I’d scream, too, if it’d been me! You’d never get away with this today, but I cleaned her up, thoroughly washed my hands with soap and bleach, and had her do the same, only much less bleach. I then gave her a spoonful of castor oil. She went into the private bathroom downstairs to wait. (I’d calmed her down and explained the probable cause. She lived on a hog farm and was familiar with giving the pigs (and dogs) medicine to deworm. Somehow, she’d managed to ingest an egg. A trip to the doctor would get her the right medicine and the worms, not snakes, would be killed and gone.). I called her mother who came right away. The castor oil did the trick and she passed another part of a worm. As a precaution, the restrooms got a complete sanitizing and her whole family was treated. End of story!

You're one extremely fortunate teacher because there are so many actions that you stated you partook in would have landed you without a job and or in jail. First problem was leaving the kids unattended by an adult. The second problem was entering the bathroom of an undressed student unless that kid was special needs and you were in charge of assisting her ...the very act of entering the bathroom and cleaning her up would have gotten you in a heap of legal trouble. Where I work, those duties would be reserved for the school nurse not the teacher.

    • @mariekatherine5238
      @mariekatherine5238 2 года назад +39

@@imanjones3807 This happened in 1966 in a grades 1-12 three room school in rural Kentucky. New, larger schools had Kindergarten. The few remaining rural schools did not. I taught grades 1-4 and had 12 students. If I recall properly, there were 15 students in grades 5-8, and only 7 or 8 in the high school due to the fact that boarding (for a fee) had been made available in the regional high school about 85 miles away. The regional school offered advanced classes, sports, marching band, foreign languages, various clubs, and a college bound track. Our high schoolers were mainly those intending to remain in the agricultural community, whose labor was already necessary for the support of the family, abject poverty, or who didn’t plan on completing high school for various reasons. At least a few girls were engaged and planned to marry. Fifteen was then the legal age for leaving school.
There were four certified teachers, two part time teachers’ aides, one secretary who doubled as principal when he wasn’t present. The principal spent about 4/5 of his time at a much larger school 50 miles distant. There was no school nurse. If an emergency arose, a doctor was on call in the nearest town ten miles or so from the school. All of the teachers taught art, music, and gym. For the high school, parent volunteers came once a week for wood or auto shop or cooking and sewing. There was supposed to be a foreign language for grades 9 and 10, but many years, none could be found.
Obviously, conditions are quite different in today’s schools!
Except for lack of extracurriculars, certain subject areas, and grades 11 and 12, small, multi-level classes, the students of which are derived from a group of local families could be a viable post-Covid model for education. Teachers and staff had to work as a team. Students took on leadership roles and had pride in the school. We had almost universal parent support, and administration trusted the teachers and other staff to do their jobs without constant supervision. District and state officials didn’t micromanage, and teachers actually had lives outside of school. Children were well-behaved. If not, we were permitted to paddle them for “moral” offenses, ie. stealing items or money of substantial worth, instigating a serious fight with injuries on school property during school hours, striking or physically attacking an adult, cursing an adult, wanton destruction of school or other’s property--behaviors that at the time, were mostly unthinkable. A couple of smacks on the palms with a ruler was not considered paddling. I recall only one child getting paddled for beating up another much younger boy at recess, the reason? I don’t know. I did administer a few palm smacks to mischief makers who took things too far. It always put a stop to the problem. Another major deterrent to bad behavior was the fact that one’s brothers and sisters, in some cases, cousins, were present and sure to inform Mom and Dad as soon as arriving home. These were the days when trouble in school meant double-trouble at home.
No, it wasn’t “easy” teaching every subject to four grades. There were no prep periods, no lunch breaks. We were on duty with children present from 8:30 until 4:30. But we had a full hour to eat lunch and have recess in the room or outside, weather permitting. If nature called, there were no worries about leaving the room for a few minutes. And after the (one!) bus or last student left, so did we. No need to bring hours of work home except when report cards needed preparation. (No computers to average the grades, and hand write them neatly! No calculators, either! Teachers had to know their mental arithmetic! If you had to write everything out, then yes, you’d be up half the night!). Daily work was graded in class with the children, lesson plans were more or less written out day by day, subject by subject, throughout the school day. Individual needs were met. You weren’t tied to a completely unrealistic, developmentally or educationally inappropriate curriculum set in stone by politicians who never taught a day in their lives. Teachers wore many hats as they do now, but they were not rated upon their success or lack thereof in fields for which they were not qualified. Teachers’ jobs were to educate children, not raise them, not politically indoctrinate them, not to provide them with three nutritionally balanced meals per day, clothing, babysitting, sex ed, contraceptives, psychological counseling, etc. We were expected to set good examples in the public aspects of our lives outside of school, and if we believed in or practiced things deemed controversial or unacceptable by general mores, we were to keep it private. It’s not in a child’s best interest to expose him to adult issues.
Educators, politicians, parents, and the medical community express such dismay and confusion at the escalating rate of drug use, stress, mental illness/disability, and suicide among children and young adults. For now, they blame it on Covid, but what about the three decades before Covid? They wonder at the cause? Really? Time to wake up!
Sorry, but I couldn’t be paid enough to teach in today’s public (or private!) schools!
Note: edit to fix typo. I meant to say grades 11 and 12, not 10 and 11.

After reading many of the comments, I think someone who suspects they have tapeworms or other internal parasites should consult a veterinarian, especially if human physicians have said it’s in your head or gives treatments that don’t work. And if the parasites ARE in your head, it can be life threatening or fatal. Another suggestion is to see a contagious disease or tropical medicine specialist. I know a man who came back from Cambodia with some sort of liver parasites. The first doctors he consulted didn’t know he’d been to Cambodia, so didn’t think of parasites. After all, the trip was three years before he had symptoms serious enough to see a doctor, so he made no connection, either. Finally, he saw a doctor who was from Indonesia. He asked about travel out of the US, and when he heard Cambodia, he referred him to a tropical medicine specialist. He spent some time in the hospital and had to continue treatment and checkups for about a year, but he was cured with only minor damage. He lived to age 71, dying of a heart attack.

My cat had tapeworms. I took her to the vet and she is now cured. I've noticed that she's a little heavier now and has more energy. And she's nicer too. I've only had her for about a year. I decided to take her in. She previously belonged to one of my neighbors who passed away. I don't know how long she's had them. Probably quite a long time. I didn't know much about tapeworms. I just noticed the little white rice looking things frequently stuck in the butt fur. I was talking about my cat at work. A lady I work with told me about them. Yeah they're pretty gross.

Yeah, no... that's not how it works. It's a maintenance thing. Unless your dogs are kept indoors and anti-social (and even then that's not an assurance they don't have worms), they likely will at some point (multiple times is not uncommon). Just taking your dogs on walks is enough. Eggs can't be seen by the naked eye. Even if your dog doesn't sniff or eat poop it's walking all over all surfaces. Then it licks its paws and cleans itself at home. Then you love on it, and most folks loooooove dog kisses... Then... Getting the picture yet?

My PCP said we haven't had this in the US for many many yrs. I said I think I had one because I saw something segmented on my dog crawling up his back not bottom, could have came from the dog by handling them as I am with dogs all my 58 yrs of life. He told me I could find another doctor if I wanted to. I grew silent and he repeated this. Then he checked my blood work on my way out and saw my B12 was low and I said that's another symptom and no one contacted me about the deficiency and I called three times to the office with no response. I took the poop test he gave me to complete and week later said it was negative. So I had B 12 injections, still now 1 yr later still going low again on B 12. My pain is in my groin area, no anal itching. Nausea, yes. Test is negative. Oh before I went to doctor my friend and I drank the pinworm medication to be sure we did not have pinworms either. The Specialists can't stop my pain, not good. I have spinal disc issues they say from MRI test. Increase in weight, bowl habits are constipation because I believe from medication. I have itching all over except my butt. Now my face and arms are itching also. How many cases are in or have been recently in the US? I believe the test though this is weird because I feel something moving inside of me and I'm not crazy. The specialist states this is nerves, why do they go to my bladder then? I went to urologist, he said I have cystitis and gave me Marabectriq 50 mg to stop leakage and spasms along with vaginal estrogen because I have a Trans Vaginal Mesh that after the cytoscopy, he said was fine though I have spasms. I still feel something moving like sliding, pinching and cramping my groin, bladder area. This has been going on for two yrs and this just doesn't stop. My pain level is over a ten at times. I have had the Superior Gastric Plexus Block twice which helps some then wears off. Any other idea what I can do for this? My sister's son many yrs ago had a tape worm confirmed by the doctor when he was about 4 or 5 yrs old. He took the medication and he expelled the tapeworm entirely into the toilet.

He shouldn't have had to tell you to find a different "doctor" you should have done that long before then. Never allowed someone else to tell you how you should or shouldn't feel. Listen to your body and instincts and keep doctor shopping until you find one who will treat you with the understanding and consideration he would expect from you. He's human therefore can and often is wrong and too prideful to admit it so he makes you believe you're the problem and not the fact he have absolutely no idea how to help you. This might sound really crazy, but I remember hearing an elderly person telling me and a friend that one way to draw tapeworms from your body is to heat up some milk and hold it close to your nose as possible and sniff the warm milk…. They said the fresher the milk the better, but supposedly it draws the tapeworms from your stomach, or intestines I guess, but after a while they like literally will come out of your nose when your sniffing the warm milk…. Im really curious to see if anyone else has ever herd this before as well…. Honestly I do trust the source, they’ve never steered me in the wrong direction before…. I just couldn’t imagine to be smelling warm milk like that, and the next thing I know a freakin tapeworm is coming out of your nose!!!!🤷‍♂️🤔

There is a mis-translation from some of the very useful information from Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The word pumpkin was used for what we would call a melon.
The reference to pumpkin seeds makes people of the west think of pumpkin pie and Jack-O-Lanterns.
The actual oriental melon has seeds which provide an enzyme that helps weaken parasites so they can be expelled from the body.
The book about Traditional Chinese Medicine was called Healing Ourselves.
I loaned the book to a friend and have never seen it again.
Unfortunately, I think it is out of print.

Myself, Since last weekend I have started to drink the "pulque" like 100 ml a day (I just do not like alcoholic beverages although it is not much) and I have been well one day and the next not, but I guess I need to take it more time. ive wondered if it would be possible to genetically engineer tapewoms to be extremely susceptible by a normal food, like say coffee, then be put in the body for weight loss.
then just drink coffee when you've lost enough and kill it.

My mom freezes all meat products before she cooks them. This should wipe out any bacteria and worms.

Meat has to be frozen at -4 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 degrees Celsius) for a minimum of seven days. The only real reliable way, is to cook it.

the word "any," is incorrect and inaccurate; the word "some," is correct and accurate. Some: bacteria, parasites, virus, etc... thrive/survive in heat, some in cold. Some in a salty environment, some no salt, some dry, some wet, and on and on, etc... If you know someone with post graduate degree, or ask your doctor who has studied or is a Ph.D., M.D., D.O., Medical Scientist in cellular, molecular, biology, etc... they can explain the basics of and array of environment variables for parasites, bacteria, virus, etc...

And when I was younger I kept going to the doctor for stomach problems and vomiting at night usually after I ate to much I’d have stomach pain around the top a bit higher then my belly button and near my breast. And I randomly feel nausea.
