This song is a masterpiece. The raw emotion and lyrics. And it’s so sad. I’m in awe of Eddie Berg he so young and talented with his lyrics and violin. And he’s fearless. Most metal band don’t have the balls to sing something so emotionally at that age.
This song just cuts a little too deep. It doesn't have many lyrics, but it stays hollow and almost humble sounding. I love the broken solemn sound it has and the long outro helps emphasize introspection. Such a good song

The movie Silence has a similar message about getting caught up in your pride and faith to the point where it hurts other people. It's always good to remember to be humble. Jesus said the road to eternal life is narrow and few will find it. Believers are called to die to self and pick up their cross and follow Christ to the best of their ability. God's grace is what enables us to grow and mature yet none are perfect or without failure at times. Not everyone who call themselves a Christian is actually one or even genuinely desires to live like one. Sometimes people say and do things they regret or because they are ignorant however, to follow Christ means a genuine submission to His Word and His ways not just the parts someone may like or agree with. Christians need forgiveness from unbelievers at times and vice versa, but don't ever let anyone keep you from seeking and finding the truth in Jesus Christ and Word of God.
