I don't think it's as big a problem for Xbox as you're saying. Xbox would only worry if the people still on Xbox One stopped. However so long as they're not shrinking and they're being monetized, it's not a big loss. Eventually. when GTA6 comes the upgrades will happen and I think CoD getting a start on that this year, before GTA6 is wise cause it'll set them up for next year and 2026 when they launch new hardware. I can see the Series consoles being used as gateways to cater to different markets as Game Pass grows. While Gen 10 will be for the Enthusiast, especially with a Handed, I think that could catch a lot of PC people too.

When I saw Dead Island 2 on Xbox one X, I was just blown away by the graphics in this game, the lighting, the details in the interior, it all looks incredible, almost photorealistic and surpasses most current games on Series X and PS5. So I'm not upgrading yet. Although, unfortunately, some novelties that I would like to play are not available on the previous generation. But for now games are enough.
The hardwares are very good condition for Xbox One consoles because it depends on how people look after them.

I have had series S since 2022. Do I need to wait till November for the new series X or current Series X
I would wait if the new series x is cheaper.

I own a ps5 but to anyone who still plays on ps4, you're good, there's not much you're missing out on.
Developers are still developing games for last gen hardware so people continue to play games on last gen consoles. I mean it’s not rocket science to figure out. Probably a big reason why PS5 pro is coming out this holiday season and why Xbox is gearing up for new hardware for 2026, in a way they’re forcing peoples hands to upgrade to new hardware.
Consoles are over priced. What about the handheld and the next generation consoles. How much will they be in the UK and Poland in UK pounds? Around 600 pounds for the top edition, not for my liking, may pay that amount of money if it comes with a 2tb hard drive storage and keeps the expansion cards at the back of the next gen consoles and external hard drives as well.
I use a ps4 an a xbox360 I'm good I got plenty to play for the rest of my life I have no need to get anything new I disagree with were gaming is going anyhow
