    • @markostarr4062
      @markostarr4062 4 года назад +4

      did you ask why? maybe because you carry more speed? as apposed to dragging that back brake? thanks for the comment

    • @yzracer14
      @yzracer14 4 года назад +3

      Because you have way more stopping power with the front brake.

    • @juneavino4727
      @juneavino4727 3 года назад +1

      I've always used front brake and no one ever told me to do it kinda funny it just always felt right to use the front brake instead of the back i don't tbink I've ever tried using the back brake. But thats awesome i was doing the right thing the whole time even confirmed by a pro abd that's cool he gave u such good advice

    • @jamc5166

    • @Flowing_Waters
      @Flowing_Waters 4 года назад

      I think they did that on purpose because the kick starter hits the peg. It happened to me with my works connection titanium foot peg on my 2014 kx450 because the stock ones are skinny.

    • @cskovach
      @cskovach 5 лет назад

      It's made out of titanium, which can be "anodized" either by controlled heat with a torch or through an electrolytic bath with precise voltage control if a more uniform result is desired. In the case of heat, the color is simply the result of oxidation which varies depending on the temperature the metal reaches when in contact with oxygen. Light yellows = lower heat, blues and purples = greater heat. Of course some coloration will result from the temperature of the exhaust gas itself. You will notice a similar discoloration on the foot pegs as a result of the heat associated with welding the assembly together.

    I’ve heard that a full works bike can cost around $80,000? Anyone know if that’s true or be willing to tell me more about it? That seems really steep and I’m wondering what all they do to it to make it cost that much? I’m assuming there is a lot they do with the engine, however, I also thought there were rules they had to follow for keeping the bikes close to stock out of fairness? It would seem, if this is true, that the privateers don’t have a chance and that the bikes are not close to stock at all!

      A stock bike would never last they would blow it up within the fist Moto most of it is just for reliability

      Moto 754 actually that’s not true the reliability of a stock bike is fenominal for example geico Honda motors last about 2 hours with 48.9 hp compared to the stock 39.5 also Eli and many other pros are very picky about suspension A kits are about 9k for Showa or kyb long story short this bike is not reliable just smooth and fast

    People hating on 4 strokes in the comments don’t know this bike make more power and is better in every way than even the old 500 two strokes. (Idk why people care different strokes for different folks😏😉😂)

      A built 500 cc two stroke makes around 80 how and does a ten second quarter mile. A 450 has never come close to making 80 hp
