One of the best explanations I've ever found.
May God bless you and may you continue on this path

Thanks for the video. Why DHCP (at 2:43) for the switch and therefore for the AP instead of assigning it a static IP? Also, will the AP automatically switch between 2.4, 5, and Wifi 6? Have you ever know of a site where there's an SSID for 2.4 and a different one for 5? I'm guessing it would not be a good idea if the AP can handle switching between them. Thanks.

Assigning static or dynamic IP to AP depends on the scenario. I've seen deployments that use dhcp and still reserve IP for AP inside dhcp pool. As for frequency, it also depends on your scenario. For example, I use 2.4 and 5 at home. If I'm close to the AP, I'll use 5(faster) if not I'll use 2.4. Thanks for the questions

@@silesiocarvalho Thank you. All your videos are helping but the FortiNet videos are timely for me since I'm moving my network from Sonicwall/Dell to FortiNet.

Great walkthrough. But may I ask, why do we have to program two SSIDs in the menu? I see you have two of them "WIFI_EMPLOYEE" and the ssid "(FortSSID)?

      Thanks for that.
FortSSID is the default one. I created the other one.

@livestronger1981 fortissid is the name of the profile. Wifi_employee is the ssid
