I took a 1948 Piper Vagabond to a local fly-in. It turned out to be the busiest arrival to any airport that I've ever been a part of, with tons of traffic and radio confusion, it took all of my focus to sequence myself into the pattern and land safely. The turnout was great, and there were a lot of very cool airplanes there. Follow along with me as we head to Shumway Innernational Airport IL05!

Great vid of the fly-in! Even got 8889W in there lol.. See you at the one in August!
Is that yours? I'm planning on being there in August in my Tailwind!
@@MotoFlightGuy Cool! Yep that’s my Cherokee 235.. the one based @ Xenia.
Ohh.. Hand Propping! Did it a few times - scares the shit out of me every time! Thanks for posting these Moto. :)
Nice helmet
2:31 homey getting a little chatty for a busy flyin! =P
This was intense! Nice job!
Another Thorp cameo! Love it!
I want one! Lol
Been into Schumway before for BBQ fly-in.
Cruise speed?
Nice!
Got to be an 85HP !
Yeah it's actually a C-90. Great performance!
@@MotoFlightGuy Greatest little Continental. Have the same C-90 in my PA-18-95 Supercub. I've owned a couple of PA-17's. All with A65 engines. Last one was all stock and cruised at 100mph solo on that little A65 and metal prop. Great little airplanes! Thanks for the great Vids. You do a nice job! Clear Skies and Tailwinds!
@@SeniorIzzy thanks for the compliments! Yeah it's a little hot rod with the C-90 on it. Solo I have operated out of a 1000 ft strip
The throttle wiggling up and down O.o
