My brother in law has young twins and I call them (lovingly) the criminal masterminds. One boosts the other up on the counter and the fun begins! Their mother is a saint.
I have this guy beat. After having our first child diagnosed with autism and we decided he needed siblings to be there to support him if something happens to us, we had triplets. So there!

This man is a solid comedian. He pivoted well when the 2 audience members had cars that defeated the opening to his joke. Great guy, too. I will be looking for more of his work!

@@scottlong5660 I have a so with autism myself. . . I get it -- my humour, too, & my wife's doesn't get whiney or crying -- it's who he is. :) I love him, period. Not in spite of ASD, or because of it, but because he just IS.
Thank you for being a Dad that stands up for his child, Maddie is a wonderful girl. I have a “few” Grandchildren that are high functioning Autistic and I know it is not easy, but it is rewarding to see them grow and succeed.

My son is a high functioning autistic child as well and though he has his difficulties, he has came a long way and has extreme intelligence in his own way❤️

You never know where your life is going to take you. That’s so true. I’m 55 and have survived seven years of a cancer which should have taken me five years ago. And in so many ways I’m grateful for this disease. I’ve laughed more and loved more than ever before in life. Live daily. Don’t live like you’re waiting to die.
Good man. When he brought up his daughter, I got a lot of respect for him. I have a special daughter myself and had a similar epiphany. My daughter is the happiest person around and doesn't feel like she's different or anything. She lives a great life and is still the happiest girl around. I hope his is too. Just had to applaud him bc it's not easy to do much less admit.

Wow, I just...don't know what is up with people. As a doctor, a woman, and someone with special needs in their family, I liked this. I didn't get upset at the jokes about women or doctors and don't know why others did. I am decidedly more liberal than this comedian is, AND a millennial, plus I have moral reservations about IVF, and wasn't offended by any of that either. It's jokes, yo, told by a human with feelings. I don't know why people feel like their negativity is necessary and if I were Dry Bar I would censor the crap out of these comment sections to protect the performers. It wasn't exactly my usual style of comedy, but Mr. Scott guy, if you are scrolling through and getting discouraged, don't be. You are funny. I laughed and am not in the target demo! Just keep working, and honestly even your detractors liked Maddie so maybe more of her! Best wishes, man. Don't listen to buttbutts.

Wish all of us could have gotten that... I thought I was a communist until I figured out what that was on my own. When I told my step Dad that we should just help each other and everything should be free, he called me a communist. I was only 12. He never explained to me what a communist was... I would've thought differently if he had. Ugh.
Hilarious though. I'm sure soon after I told people I was... I had a short attention span though so I forgot about that for large part of my teenage years until I heard about it again in high school.
All 3 of my kids are on the spectrum, and they have my husband and i laughing so hard all the time. And like he said, it's never at them, it's with them... because while they do have challenges, they're the most care free kids who have no issues with who they are... and they're so funny!

I have ASD and three kids. I can hold a job (and do), I can take care of myself and three children who also have Autism. 🙄 The stigma around autism is terrible. Honestly not as bad as people make it out to be, if we’re accommodated and happy - we grow up better than normal people. I would know, I was so well cared for it took well into my adulthood, to even discover I had autism. 🤦🏼♀️ Also shows how little is known about ASD.
It's referred to as a spectrum for a reason though. It sounds like his daughter may not be able to develop the skills needed to succeed on her own like you. I have a good friend who, like you, has high-functioning autism - she has six kids and is working on her doctorate. But everyone on the spectrum is different. But then there are some with autism who struggle verbally, for instance. He didn't have time to (or need to) go into all the variables of autism in his set.
Awesome set, wish they had given you more time. That bit about going from a good dad to a great one was stupendous. 👍

It's not owned by anyone. It's ran by a board and it's a "non profit". Even though it makes profit it pays out the board members and employees and funds employment centers and the likes with the profits they earn.

Goodwill also uses slave labor. People required to do community service by the courts are assigned to work there. Additionally, Goodwill hires disabled workers and is permitted to pay them below minimum wages.
Goodwill is only popular because it gives people somewhere to give away their junk and feel good about themselves rather than throwing it away. Meanwhile, a significant amount of the stuff Goodwill receives they throw away because they deem it unsaleable. Goodwill also gets such a surplus of used clothing, more than it can sell in its stores, that they sell it by the container full and it’s exported to foreign countries. That’s why poor people across the world are wearing American clothing brands rather than local/traditional clothing styles. Local clothing manufacturers can’t compete on prices, so the economies of those countries suffer.

I have a fairly high functioning 22 year old son with autism, a 25 year old daughter who has a different disorder, that is more difficult to work with, and an 11 year old with ADHD, but who has some autistic traits. They are my monkeys, and life is a constant 3 ring circus. But they are my world, and the joy they bring me FAR outweighs the daily struggles. But sometimes the entertainment value is just off the charts lol.
My doctor is the opposite. The first thing he said was, "yes, I'm know that I'm fat."
My doctor finally threw out his back, my life has been better ever since. Oh yeah, pain is real.

Now I want to ask my husband how he felt about changing from sedans to minivans. I currently drive a 16-year-old Honda Odyssey (the kids are 21 & 23), and when hubby asked what I'd like my next car to be, I said, "a Honda Odyssey." If you feel emasculated by driving a minivan, get this -- I feel empowered, driving a minivan! God bless you.
