It is totally possible. There's a few ways to go about it. You could spawn a grid and sample a texture, then base tour I've off of the texture. I'll probably make a tutorial next week.
Something I don't quite understand is how we're supposed to know that the module scale color and color use the material to determine how it changes the particles? Perhaps it's obvious to those who worked inside of niagara before, but they're in separate modules. Is there a way if an option is controlled by the material input?
I just passed all this morning to know how to fade out material and the Particle Color node did just that. THANK YOU !!
