I have been to many Indian restaurants in Tehran. But, do not remember this one. There was another restaurant called Taj Mahal which I remember was somewhere in North Tehran. The food was yummy. My memories of Tehran are very positive. Taxi drivers randomly started asking me whether I knew or seen Amitabh Bachchan. Many of them simply refused to take money from an Indian. I had to literally put money in their hands. When I bought the famous pistachios of Iran, I bought 1 kg but the shopkeeper gave me a kg more for free for my kids. He simply refused to take money for that. It's a seriously misunderstood country. I have been to more than 45 countries across the globe but Tehran was one of the safest cities to live and move around. Never felt unsafe even for a second.
I live in UK . I take my uk friends and order these dishes . Also South Indian dishes like masala dosa vada were loved by them. Slowly they got hang of these dishes. And started loving
It’s safe to order dishes like butter panner, paneer makhanwala , or something which has cream . Also you can accompany kashmiri nan, pulav which will be milder compared to others
It was once again a nice vlog, the ambience of the restaurant was good and they tried to depict the Indian culture by putting bindis on the forehead of ladies with live performers playing tabla, which was invented in India by Amir khusro.❤❤
India should be ashamed of itself to have ties with fascist, fundamentalist Irani government for the sake of economic interests. How could India turn blind eye when Irani govt killed thousands of Irani girls and women for not wearing burka. My head hangs in shame.
The music in the restaurant seems like folk Rajasthani music (I mean the musical instruments), Maybe those musicians are from Rajasthan! Or maybe they were just playing really old Hindi songs which I don't know about.
@@Indianpersiancouple Oh! I have heard in 60s,70s and 80s bollywood movies were very popular all over the Asia. Iran was one of them i didn't know that. @@MrRahul6464 you are right. Bita's mom was saying, in old days Indian singers used to come India for singing songs. We already made one video of Iranian movies😍
I don't know if you know this or not ...that Zoroastrians were originated from Saurashtra(Gujrat). So we are all same DNA, that's why familiar faces 🙂. Our ancestors are somewhere common. Persian and Sanskrit has lot of similar words as well. From the very common Ast/Asto/Asti. So keep loving each other. God bless us all.
They should show the iranian food too and influenced by ancient indian , persian , Zorastrian , Bhai , Islamic culture in their cusines over the period of time. How it is different from India ! How iranians guage India , their people etc
I never understood why Indian restaurants make spicy, hot 🔥 food when most of their customers don't eat that level of spice, they even gave a chilli pepper ! That poor bird 🐦 wants to fly.
Spicy does not mean foods are not tasty. Foods are cooked with spices because spices are available locally all over india. With right technique of cooking, you can get the real taste of spicy food.so it is not wrong that indians eats spicy food unlike westeners
Most of chef don't have Spice knowledge and skill on what to use when and how. Indian spices are all medicinal herbs. Some are appetite enhancer, some are gas dissolver, some are acidity reducer, some are anti pyratic, some are analgesic, some are anti ulcer. What we see now a days they are mixing disproportionately all the spices in all the curries. That's why we feel heavy and bloated after eating and at times get loose motions.
Bhagwan, I must say you are very fussy about food but, Bita is real sport! She can adapt with all conditions! It is an well known fact that Indian food tastes nowhere near to its original outside India! So be satisfied whatever you get and praise the effort of those talented chefs who are trying their best to recreate the Indian culinary magic in a not-so-favourable(with limited resources) environment❤❤ Just look at that Indian Punjabi lady from Ludhiana, a lone indian serving for you, thousand miles apart from her country just to earn for her family! Salute to her from India❤🙏🇮🇳👍🏼
Thank you for your comment. I must say we should not judge based upon one video to anyone. Food quality was not good at all, they just put masala and paneer. Maybe most of people eat nonveg that's why they don't know how to make. But another restaurant we visited was so good. We already put video on channel 😍😍.
