Thanks for this update Yusuke. It's interesting to see how convenience stores have changed. File. 11 is one of my favourites because Japanese convenience store workers are so hard to understand! Your channel actually inspired me to make a similar channel for English learners, so thank you very much. I have both English and Japanese subtitles on my videos. I hope you don't mind me stealing your idea! 🙇 If you have any advice, I would be very grateful!
just a suggestion but i think you can put "convenience store" or something on the video title to make it more detailed so when people who will get this in their recommendation, they will know that it's about convenience stores again. that's all. Thank you for the videos as always !
Thank you so much for these helpful and well edited videos! I’m currently trying to learn Japanese until I can finally have the chance to go and experience it. I wish good luck to anyone learning a new language :)
Same here, it's so helpful listening to a native japanese talking about everyday stuff in a natural way and with subtitles to follow along. Thank you so much Yusuke! ;D
I watched your first video before I went to Japan for the first time, and it was one of the most helpful things I did to prepare. Listening comprehension is really difficult for me especially when people talk fast, so being able to have an idea of the common phrases asked was so helpful. It's been over a year since I first found this channel, and I want to thank you for helping me with learning Japanese.

The original file 11 was probably the video of yours I watched the most, but ever since the Fami-Res video came out, I think I've watched that one more frequently. Thank you for making these videos.
that's great, thank you very much. In the next video, I hope you will put the English and Japanese translations in the same line, for easy viewing. thank you very much

Also i noticed you don't say thanks to the cashiers or vendors after buying something. So it's normal in Japan to not say thanks to them?
I'm curious, because in my country we usually do say thanks too after a purchase.
It's a question I'm asked frequently.
In Japan, that's normal. Don't worry about it. If you want to say thanks, there's nothing wrong with it.
Good

I notice that you don't say Thank You back after the cashier says thank you. In the US, it's something that you usually do. Would it be weird if I said ありがとうございます back to the cashier after you buy something?

How does payment with an IC card happen now? Is it the same as the credit card or do you scan it where that Nanaco and touchless icon are?

You can pay by holding your card there.
Sorry, I didn't explain it well enough.
(Bowing lightly)
