I can not get enough of this band! They just make me feel the passion of their music! I Transport mentally from the harsh landscapes of this hard land of dust storms and Hellish heat-to the coast of Northern California and other Green place that I would rather be! Music has power to get someone out of their malaise if even for a moment. I am as stuck in this Arizona desert as my guitar is stuck in the Pawn Shop (where it will stay forever more), but music like this takes me away for a few. I feel more alive when I return from the short few moments in the wonderland that this song and others by the Family Crest takes me to! Thanks for the adventure!

I saw you guys open for jukebox the ghost two nights ago in NYC and you guys were absolutely amazing. The minute my boyfriend and I realized all the instruments appear on the stage we knew we were in for a treat. Absolutely blown away. Hope to see you guys live again soon :)))

This is a pretty cool song - I really like it! I'm wondering if anyone else hears the striking resemblance in the "ah-ah-ah" vocals at the beginning to those found in "Flying" on the Beatles "Magical Mystery Tour" album. Was that an intentional homage? The music video is even shot with the band playing setup outside, similarly to how the Beatles were set up for many of the promotional images for MMT. (for reference www.thirteen.org/13pressroom/files/2012/10/BeatlesMMT_Press02.jpg) Also, the choral melody at the end is eerily reminiscent of that from "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" where the chorus sings a similar chord progression heard here, repeating "war is over... war is over...." Just wondering if that was intentional at all.
