You close the rebound anticlockwise ?🤔

@@francoisdionne1969 the perspective can be confusing but it is clockwise, if your looking at the fork from the bottom. Just like the bottom nuts on the fork.

100psi with 4 spacers seems crazy to me. I run a Zeb so I'm guessing Fox likes more air?

They do, the recommended pressure for a rider 160-170 lbs is 89 psi and I found that for 15% sag 100 is spot on. I will also say after two big days on the new damper, it gets into its travel easier. I've been able to use all the travel without issue.

@@NICADV Gotcha. For comparison on the Zeb- I run 2 spacers, 85psi and I'm 215. Even with big drops, jumps, landings etc, I just use the full travel. Much different than Fox for sure. But thanks for the explanation.

@@onetravdown that is wild. I'm 170 lbs, run a Fox 34 140mm at around 75psi with one spacer and use only about 3/4 of the travel most days. Do you need more air in the larger diameter forks? Thinking about swapping the 34/140mm for a 36/150mm and don't want to be tinkering with it for weeks

@@bthomas518 You will need a higher air pressure if you go up to the 36. I would focus on sag, probably 20%, rather than just the air pressure number.

    OH MY GOODNESS ME!! HELP!
Sir I’m in the UK and have Ohlins front forks with a single bolt bolt in the top of the fork arch
Please please tell me which front mud guards you have?
I ride Nduro 8 free ride
    Thanks

The fender in this video is Fox and only works on Fox forks. However, RRP makes a pretty nice bolt on option for Ohlins www.rapidracerproducts.com/products/mudguards/proguard-bolt-on.html

Just curious, I got the new Grip X2 Damper and was wondering if you also have very little definition in the low speed compression 'clicks'. I can hardly tell when I'm on the next one and wondered if I should contact Fox about it. I also have a new Grip X and that one I can definitely tell on low speed compression 'clicks'.

Mine has the same issue, I keep meaning to see if I can fix it. I’ll take a look today and let you know.

Alright, so generally the problem is too much grease when they assemble the top cap, but I hadn't checked. I just did, and yes that was it. If you take off the low speed dial and clean out the grease it will make the dents "clicks" more noticeable. The only issue is the clicks are caused by a very small bearing and spring. I used a magnet to get them out and then degreased the spring and it's all good now. Just be careful not to drop the bearing or spring because they will be very hard to find.😉If you want video of the process hit me up on Instagram.

@@NICADV Man, thanks for doing that! I kinda wondered if it was something simple. I will most definitely get that taken care of soon. I wonder if a video would be a helpful idea for others who may wonder the same.

@@NICADV Yeah it may be better with like a full fox fork service type video, or a short.
