Thanks heaps mate! I just used this video to install mine. Had never even thought I could do it but here we are! Really appreciate it.
Thanks Bill! I'm gonna replace my gross old ones this weekend with this kit
👍
Nothing to do with the image on the preview.
You're the best Bill❤
You’re welcome 👍
Hey Bill, awesome vid! Can you do a video on how to remove a very old bathtub faucet that won’t budge at all? Also it is hard to grip.
Can you do a video on how to remove the water restrictor inside the shower head please?
I have one already, I thinks it’s called how to fix low water pressure 👍
Hey Bill thanks so much for this video really help me!
Can you please send a link on how to close the gap between the lip and this chrome handle that you installed, mine has a big gap and i kinda scared this will let insects in...
just came across your channel, thanks for the vids! will watch many of them very educational and in AUS 🎉
Do you have to seal the gap between the tile and base of the shower head?
excellent churrrr Bill .. april 6 2020 got me one these today to swap over ... thanks heaps
You’re welcome 👍
Thanks so much for this video. I just installed two shower heads without any trouble at all. Who needs a husband after all? 🤭
Do I have to turn off the water for the whole house first?
Thanks Bill :)
Hi Bill, loved the tap seat video. I may have missed it, but can you show me the best way to clean grout in a walk-in shower. Tries CLR and the usual suspects.
Do I need to turn off main water for this job? Thanks
I would like to know this also!!
I don't think so.
Bloody legend mate
Thanks bro vid helped out heaps
Bro can you do a vid on how to install a brand new mini tap? I need to install a new vanity in the bathroom but it's got the old copper fixtures underneath.
Love your videos! Can you make a video or share the link of how to change the taps like the one in this video. Do we need any special wrench?
How do we change a shower head to a shower hose and shower head please. What fittings are needed? I have purchased a new 7 & 1/2" square shower head and want to fit it and a shower hose to my present shower outlet that is on the shower wall.
Hi Bill, we got someone to install this for us but the water is not flowing well. Do you think there is a problem with the installation or is that the way this brand works?
Hi bill , love your show , are you able to show us a video on how to change a mixer in for the kitchen sink. I want to replace it with a higher fancy looking one.
What a coincidence, that’s exactly what I am doing tomorrow 👍👍
Billshowto
Lol , what coincidence 😁looking forward to it.
It’s really great what your doing , I have learnt many things from you already.
👍 keep it up
Thanks, I’m glad people are enjoy the videos and helping out 👍
Where would the flow restrictor be for this shower head?
Hey Bill, how tight does the shower head have to thread on? Mine was on but had more room to tighten, however the water pipe ended facing upwards (not down) lol
Lol, if you put more plumbers tape on it will tighten up at the right position 👍
Thanks for your video. I have struggled to ensure the wall outlet bracket vertical. It is always tight at horizontal position. How can I fix it? Thank you.
Good question, you can apply some plumbing tape to the threads which will cause it to tighten up earlier
Slider for shower rail how do you replace?
How do you install a full shower rack set
I have a separate video that will show you step by step
Bill, mate that was super handy. Just bought the exact same shower-head from Bunnings yesterday. Good to know that there is no Plumber's Tape included (I thought it was for some reason), so looks like I will have to make another trip to Bunnings... oh well.
Quick question regarding the tape - if I put maybe 2/3 of what you applied (or even half), could I possibly get away with having to fill in any gaps with a Silicone Gun later on?
Cheers and thank you for your videos Bro! ✅
Hi, if I understood correctly you want to know if you put less tape on the threads will that help in preventing glthe need for silicone for the gap I had in the video? If so, the gap I had was not due to the tape it was a result of having longer threads on the copper pipe than the shower head allowed. You can shave down the pipe and it will then sit flush against the wall. Hope that helps if not let me know
@@billshowto First of all my apologies, I misunderstood that bit in the video!
I thought for some reason that the gap you spoke was due to excess tape - God I'm dumb... thanks kindly for clarifying!
Lol no problem 👍
Thanks mate👍🏻
No problem 👍
Bill. Do you need to turn the water off or just turn it off at the tap
Turn off at the tap only 👍
@@billshowto ok thanks
Cannot really see what tap you jnstalling to fit the full shower fitting
Thank you!
👍
Do you need to close the main water switch or just the switch on the tub?
Hi , for this one just the switch on the tub 👍
Thanks for the easy to understand video. I have the same shower head/hose/fitting but have very little water pressure.....would that be because hubby used plumber's tape on the hose and shower head ?
Hi, this could be the case of the tape wasn’t installed correctly or you could have a blockage in the shower head . I will post a video on this shortly 👍
@@billshowto From watching other videos I'm pretty sure that I need to remove the flow restrictor in the fitting or drill a big hole in the hand piece where there are 5 small holes. Which do you think is the better option?
@@billshowto The tape was installed correctly and it's a brand new shower head so there shouldn't be any blockage.
thats the water saving feature which most shower heads have these days. Usually you can remove it with a screw driver . What is the brand?
@@billshowto Estilo - the exact same one as in your video.
Do I have to fill in the gap? I live in a rental, so can't make any permanent changes. Is filling the gap between the wall and the shower head necessary, or just for looks? :)
Hi, no you don’t have to fill in the gap. As long as it’s on tight, the gap is simply to have a flush finish 👍
Why do you have to use the tape?
Your fantastic
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Hey mate is the installation the same if I was to change a normal shower head to a hose one
Hi, it’s very similar. You may will need to use Teflon tape (plumbers tape) on the threads though
So just like you did on the thread
That’s right. If you get stuck let me know I’m happy to help 👍
Thanks so much mate
No problem
If you have a rubber seal you shouldn't need teflon
The image at the front has nothing to do with the video. AVOID
Bugger off. His videos are brilliant and very helpful. Troll somewhere else.
