Have been watching/subscribed for the last few months and I just want to say thank you for keeping it all about straight content! I don’t have to put up with 15 minutes worth of drone footage for 5 minutes of content with background music that sounds like a Nokia ringtone 😂
Glad you like them!
Wow! He really is vibrantly colored for a rainbow! 😍
Could be a male that’s getting ready to spawn.
@@bassntroutfishing almost looks like a little kern golden trout, or a hybrid between a golden and a rainbow. Cool unique catch!!!
@@timothybunker8027it was a Greenback Cutthroat
Nice fishing
Thanks 👍
why do you skin and remove head from smaller fish? why not cook it whole?
Did anyone else see the trout swimming up the ripples 1:10
My son loves your videos, you’re awesome!!!
Thanks
That is awesome!! Tell him I said hi!
Nice dude! Cant wait for spring baby!!!
Awesome vid big fan
Thanks for watching!
That's a cuttbow trout hybrid rainbow.and cutthroat
Those are pretty fish especially the first never seen a Bow with a yellow belly
That was a show quality trout!
1st catch looks like a McCloud rainbow, ???
I believe the first fish is known as Columbia River Redhead trout.
Still have large Parr marks. The first one looked like a Golden Rainbow Hybrid.
Every dang time I watch your videos I get hungry ! Thumbs-up on trout fishing !
You are so good and experienced with fishing. I have been fishing since I was 2. Now I am 12🎉
Awesome man!
@@bassntroutfishing Thanks!
I dress in camouflage when I trout fish.
A little advice: When you fish upstream, you are downstream of the fish that face upstream.
In that way you are outside the field of sight of most of the fish and they don't see you coming that easily...
Hey,
I travel a lot for my work and currently live in Texas. I grew up in Idaho Falls and know all of the great fishing in that area. I to am LDS and was wondering if when come to SLC, if you’d take me out to catch Tiger Trout?
That first rainbow looked amazing nothing like I get in my stocked creeks rarely ever a wild!
Dang! You are fishing like a mile from my parents' house! I grew up there my whole life!
Dude, that first fish was amazing ! Do you think it’s a cross ? Never seen one like it. You need to frame that and put it on the wall ! Another great video ! Fish on !!! 🎣
Looks like a redband
We don’t have those, just a rainbow.
Im pretty sure that was a Green Back Cutthroat Trout. They are a very rare species in Colorado.
and of course, tight lines...
Why don't you eat the skin. It crisps up great plus I would imagine has some kind of good oils in it.
Is the skin not edible? When i was a kid we would have the sardine run in Kwazulu Natal and devour endless curry fried sardines.
👍
When you spook them trying to get them back is like trying to con a cat off a fish wagon
I like when you cook with new ingredients
Dude at 1:06 you can see a trout swimming by your feet Lmao
You ever fish Idaho?
It was my birthday and I got 103 fishing lures !
Dude nice!!
I love trout magnets they also catch a lot of other species too
that was the dopest trout i’ve seen
Really like your videos. Thank you for sharing
Glad you like them!
There we go
Missing your videos brother love from Indian ❤️❤️
Thank you for watching!
When you skin the fish and then cook them up, do the pin bones come out when you pull the meat off the bones?
Most of them yeah, some you just have to pick out.
So excited for spring/summer time to see you catch some more fish!
I’m getting hyped just thinking about it!
My dude is back! Been too long
More to come..
Can you just use conventional fly fishing flies under a bobber as you would a trout magnet? I think this is what I might focus on this winter in Australia if so
Yes you can, I’ve done that quite a bit this year.
@@bassntroutfishing nice, I know jack about fly fishing so I'll havta get some flies now
Been watching your videos for a few weeks now and just subscribed. The thing you have me hooked on (pun intended!) is cooking them while I'm out there! Love it!
That 1st was a golden trout or cuttthroat hybrid
Nah just a rainbow
@@bassntroutfishing you sure looks just like a golden? That was beautiful.
Looks just like a California golden
LOVE LOVE LOVE your stuff I'm 71 and still walk the waters for our friends the trout. Don't keep them anymore catch and release only , have eaten SO many that it takes a amazing brook and then I'd more than likely release it. But anyway you remind me so much of my younger days. Keep on Fishin young man nothing better
Thank you I’m really glad you like the videos!
Would love to see more walleye videos!!! Just watched your last one it was awesome
Wow that first catch was amazing!!! What a spectacular trout with those colors. Never seen one like that
Holy crap dude those were the most beautiful colors and patterns on those fish that i have ever seen
holly crap dude! that IS SUCH A PRETTY BOW MAN!
I wish it was 10x the size!!
That’s definitely a cutthroat I would say probably a Colorado river cutthroat such a cool looking fish
Looks like an Oregon redband to me
Nah it’s a rainbow for sure. There wasn’t a slash under the jaw and there’s no cutts in here. If it was it would be a bonneville. Just a colored out male getting ready to spawn.
Best looking rainbow and best looking lunch in the same video. If the beans were on earlier it would of been perfect.
Love your videos man, and just a tip; work your trout magnets slow like you would a texas rig or something
Thanks for the tip!
Those look exactly like the redband trout i catch here in Idaho....
To me those trout looked more like brookies with some brown trout mixed in. I know you must be correct that they were rainbows but I have never seen a rainbow that looked like those guys. Enjoyed the video!
Trout don’t really get lethargic due to cold water, trout are extremely active in cold water they actually thrive in cold water temperatures….that’s not the problem here
That first fish was gorgeous!
great job... keep going... i like youre videos... cheers from switzerland...
Thanks, will do!
Just BEAUTIFUL fish. Period. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Hes back at it!
🔥
No, that first rainbow was just TOO beautiful to kill. No way, would I keep a fish that gorgeous!!!!
Yeah I just couldn’t do it😅
Loved the video, Your the Greatest fisherman ever, keep catching em
Thank you man!
The 'Trout Magnet' wasn't so magnetic after all!
😅nope
Beautiful bow man! Good job!
Thanks man!
The colors on those fish are outstanding.
Your killing it Young Buck 😁
Im on an ice fishing camp right now, its so fun here, there are 3 other People in this room, we are watching these videos before going To sleep just to see some fish
Haha thanks for watching! Good luck out there🤙
I've been up there a few times and never thought of fishing that little stream. My boy and I have fished the community pond there a few times. Its always fun.
Yeah I love this creek! Best time to fish it is April and may!
Glad you said its tough, because it has been! I too believe they are lethargic when its cold.
Just stay strong for a few more weeks👍🏼
Great video! Going trout fishing tomorrow myself!
Good luck!
Otters north end open water.
Still ice fishing near the dam. A couple of weeks or less!
Worth fishing yet you think?
No not yet!
Most of the fish are in deep water near the dam. A week or so depending on the weather.
What pound test do you use for to tie on flys on a spinning rod?
I had 6lb on this time. Not ideal, at least 4lb most of the time.
That's the most beautiful rainbow I have ever seen! Nice catch!
I wish I could catch that same fish but about 10 times as big!
@@bassntroutfishing beautiful Buddy!
Great!!!
Thanks for watching!
Hope you’re having a great time in Arizona! 🎉
Thanks!
Awesome stuff! 👌
Thanks!
NICE!
