I know it is a year later I'm watching this video series. I am in awe of the artwork created and this series. I started my own art style challenge in drawing my own characters in different styles. So far I got two out of the trio of my series I've been writing for years. A idea to continue this series for a Mario character it would be interesting to see Yoshi in different art styles. I think my favourite style is the Tim Burton and after I finished the video the Futurama style is iconic.
I adored this art style swap challenge for Mario. I was hoping to see how a Tim Burton Mario would evolve, but was delightfully surprised how much I enjoyed Dragonball Z and Steamboat Willie AKA early Mickey Mouse. Great job!
I was anticipating the Burton and Futurama. The favorite is much harder: princess, fairly odd parents, wtf, dbz, steamboat Willie, and Futurama probably in that order.

My favorite is the fairly odd parents one, just because of how much it resembles the actual style! like you couldn't tell it apart from the show while still being undeniably Mario! Great job! 1. Was looking most forward to princess style, but after the drawings, definitely love the fairy odd parents. 2. You should draw a powerpuff girl in 10 different styles next, or courage the cowardly dog!
These are all awesome. My favorites are the Dragon Ball image and the WTF image. The only thing is there was slightly a missed opportunity with the ZHC style. If you look at his old drawings, he has a very distinct comic style with very dark detailed shadows. I just thought it would be cool to see that, but it still turned out very good. I honestly can’t pick a favorite! I love the Princess and the “WTF”..the Fairly Odd parents is on point. Amazing talent to do all of these, everyone one of them are so great!
I was gonna be sloppy and not comment, but your own interpretation was Soooooo charming and nice and cool and interesting I just had to point that out! It just burns in me how I'd love to see an animated mario comic in this style where it's a more harsh and dark take on the mario universe where it's not necessarily clear who's the good guy until Mario's actions finally become clear as the right choice in the bigger picture... It's just.. something, about it. Lovely stuff!
Really dig the WTF style. Would love to see a JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure style make it in sometime. It’s so over the top that I’m sure it would produce some fun results.
Late to the party as I catch up on your videos :) I like the DBZ Mario. Also immediately thought Mr. Satan/Hercule could make a good base for Mario. Love the channel, by the way!
That was stunning and I really appreciate that you took your time and not tried to stuff all ten drawings into one 15 min. Video at any cost. And style wise it was a good selection too. Usually I have my issues with "Tim Burton" but not this time. I like all of them and would love to have a print of it to hang on the wall. The one - but that's not on your end - least my taste is the "Among Us" Mario. I wonder why Mario seems to dye his hair during the drawing Process. He is of Italian Heritage so it would be quite common for him to have black hair. With maybe a slight brownish tint to it in certain light but I don't think that it would be this milk chocolate tone.
Something new to try for this series? One character, multiple brands of markers &/or pencils. Seeing how the different brands of markers work all laid out for comparison. Sort of like swatching marker sets to see how colors react to different papers. Which reminds me: have you ever swatched any of the markers you have now? I’ve found this to be VERY helpful in color choice. Just my 2¢.

The dragon ball one made mariona lot more intimidating...you should have probably gone with krillin with a nose maybe...that'd have kept with his short height too

I know it is a year later I'm watching this video series. I am in awe of the artwork created and this series. I started my own art style challenge in drawing my own characters in different styles. So far I got two out of the trio of my series I've been writing for years. A idea to continue this series for a Mario character it would be interesting to see Yoshi in different art styles.
