Can you do a segment like this every other week or so? Phrases like these are so useful and I think there’s not so many lessons on these topics. Almost every language topic is always flooded with basics and “words you should know” videos but they typically are for beginners. I prefer phrases in which I can express my thoughts better and sound more conversational in.

I may be 3 years late after the date of your video here, in any case I am loving all and the current ones also. I just started studying Russian late last year. What gave me the incentive is the Viking River Cruise, St. Petersburg to Moscow couple of years ago. The cruise offered Russian classes on board ship with lots of handouts starting with the Cyrillic alphabet and so on. We even had a written test at the end. After the classes I enjoyed much more our day excursions at each port as I recognised letters from the alphabet and was able to recognize store signs, etc. My plan now is to do the Trans Siberian train with a better knowledge of understanding and being able to communicate in Russian. I'm excited to learn this language and love your videos and teaching. You make it easier

Superb lesson, but you could you please pronounce the phrases more slowly and clearly so that we slow learners can master the pronunciation. Repeating the phrases a couple of times looking directly at the camera would certainly help. Spaseeba.

Fedor, do a video on cultural phrases that have no direct translation. Here are some ideas.
    1. зашибись
    2. да, всё офигенно
    3. ну, ладно
    4. так что ли?
    5. ясно
    6. это точно
    7. конечно

    • @4sARy
      @4sARy 3 года назад

      1. Means "Nice".
      2. translated like "Yeap, it's all right" same meaning.
      3. Means "Ok" or "well".
      4. Means "Like so?" or "Am I right?".
      5. In the same way as the third.
      6. "Truth", when you agree with somebody.
      7. "Of course"

Da, very good pronunciation. HOWEVER: As being the son of a native Russian speaker from Latvia, I felt that at the beginning, he said krak/kvak dela, rather than kak dela. Great job, though!
PS When he said, privet Druzhya krak dela, i cracked up...:)))))
