    Baptism and Salvation
    Dying to Sin
💀Q: What does baptism into Christ's death signify?
A: Baptism into Christ's death means dying to sin and being buried with him, as explained in Romans 6:2-4, enabling believers to walk in newness of life.
    Mastering Sin
🔒Q: How should baptized believers approach sin?
A: Baptized believers should master sin, not let it happen, as instructed in Romans 6:12-13, presenting themselves to God as alive from the dead and their members as instruments of righteousness.
    Presenting Ourselves to God
🙏Q: What action should follow baptism according to Romans?
A: After baptism, believers should present themselves to God, not to sin, as stated in Romans 6:13, offering their members as instruments of righteousness.
    Resisting Sin's Reign
👑Q: How should baptized believers resist sin?
A: Baptized believers should not let sin reign in their mortal bodies or obey its lusts, as commanded in Romans 6:12-13, instead presenting themselves to God as alive from the dead.
    Living in Newness
🌱Q: What lifestyle change should baptism bring?
A: Baptism should lead to walking in newness of life, as Christ was raised from the dead, according to Romans 6:4, implying a complete transformation in the believer's conduct.
    Baptism's Significance
🌊What is the true meaning of water baptism?
Water baptism is an antitype that saves us, symbolizing our death to sin and resurrection with Christ, giving us a clear conscience before God, similar to how the flood saved eight righteous souls.
🔄How does baptism change our identity?
Baptism provides a new identity and mentality, producing grace in our lives and enabling us to walk in new life, as we are no longer slaves to sin but to righteousness and God.
    Spiritual Transformation
💀What does it mean to "die to sin" through baptism?
To live in Christ, we must die to sin completely, not just sin less, presenting ourselves to God as alive from the dead rather than as instruments of unrighteousness.
🆕How does baptism affect our relationship with sin?
Baptism represents an identity change that alters our fruitfulness, placing us under grace rather than law, so sin won't have dominion over us even if we stumble.
    Baptism Experience
🌟What makes baptism a powerful experience?
Baptism is an intimate, powerful experience that can be sealing and manifest of God's presence, representing surrender and commitment to Jesus rather than mere ritual.
🔮How does baptism connect the physical and spiritual realms?
Baptism is a symbolic act representing the spiritual reality of dying with Christ and being raised with him, involving not just water but the Spirit working in our lives.

When we are Baptized in water by Faith we put on Christ.
So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptised into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” Galatians‬ ‭3‬:‭26‬-‭27‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

They were baptizing in water because they didn't have a grasp of the baptism of the holy spirit (acts1) which was to enable the believers to function in the Spirit's power as they shared the Gospel

I have fully appreciated and followed Dan’s ministry in agreement until this video. The baptism in Jesus name is the ONLY one demonstrated under the New Covenant starting in the book of Acts after Jesus’ death. Examples of this truth: Acts 2:38, Acts 8:16, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:3-4. Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses 2 Corinthians 13:1. Dan is teaching contrary to the scripture here, based on HIS own experience. I will not receive this teaching, but still agree with much of what he says.

    1. The Scripture nowhere states that Baptism is a symbol, actually it states what? Water symbolizes Baptism
    2. “to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, and this (WATER SYMBOLIZES BAPTISM) that now saves you also - not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience towards God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” 1 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬
    3. “You will be his witness to all people of what you have seen and heard. And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptised and wash your sins away, calling on his name.” Acts‬ ‭22‬:‭15‬-‭16‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬
    4. “In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ, having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.” Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬
    5. “He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Mark‬ ‭16‬:‭15‬-‭16‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬
    6. “Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬
    7. “Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptised into Christ Jesus were baptised into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin - because anyone who has died has been set free from sin. Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭3‬-‭7‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬
    8. “This is the one who came by water and blood - Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. For there are three that testify: the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.” 1 John‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭NIVUK‬
    9. “So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptised into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” Galatians‬ ‭3‬:‭26‬-‭27‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬
    10. “‘Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.’ When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, ‘Brothers, what shall we do?’ Peter replied, ‘Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭36‬-‭38‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬
    11. “With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, ‘Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.’ Those who accepted his message were baptised, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.” Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭40‬-‭41‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬
God’s ways are above our ways. Did the Israelites defeat their enemies by Faith alone “OR” by acting on God’s Word by Faith.
The walls of Jericho fell by acting on God’s Word by Faith.
Man’s downfall came because they didn’t listen to God’s instructions to not eat of the forbidden fruit.
In Colossians 2 it is clearly stated that Baptism is AN ACT OF GOD and not a work that we do which is contrary to what many believe.
Choose for yourselves whom you will obey!

This is erroneous teaching. The baptism referred to in 1 Peter 3 is baptism into Christ, not water. Water baptism isn't mentioned. It's a sacrament, a symbol of what occurs at salvation, and can be done at that time or after, and I believe it is a biblical mandate and everyone should do it. But it's not necessary for salvation. Just ask the thief on the cross.

It is a symbol, but it is also supernatural. Demons come out. We get washed clean, forgiven, born again. It is how we join the New Covenant. That's why it was always the first thing people did after believing. Paul had been fasting three days with no food or water and he got baptized BEFORE eating or drinking anything (not to mention side of the road and middle of the night immersions). Do you know there is not a single example of delayed baptism in the New Testament? There was an urgency for a reason. The New Testament records half a dozen supernatural changes that are a direct result of baptism. No baptism, no changes (and it is water. There are clear verses on this).
The thief on the cross was saved under the old covenant. There was no baptism into Christ until after his resurrection).
I have done a very thorough study on this and am happy to discuss it further if you wish.

If you heard what he has said about being washed at the time of Noah through the flood you could say the man on the cross were baptized, actually both men had been. But it's a symbolic baptism as you spoke of. It's the belief that Jesus is the Christ. The man on the cross is a perfect example.... He knew it, spoke it and believed Jesus is the Christ. There is truth in what this brother is speaking. The baptism of the Holy Spirit fills us when we know Jesus is the Christ. We will share this with all that we come before us.. Water baptism is a outward action to our inward transformation!!!! We are no longer slaves to sin.

@@BIGUGGLY that is completely backwards. There was no baptism into Jesus (which happens in water baptism - Rom 6) until after his resurrection. No "body of Christ" until then. The thief was saved under the old forward-looking covenant.
