Ongbal doesn’t even do these no HUD runs as a challenge anymore. He just removes the HUD so we can have a more cinematic video without all the clutter. Thats my new theory. Ongbal lore runs deep.
If you are really familiar with the game, no HUD is a fun way to play actually. I'll turn it on for some late game boss fights but prefer it to be off the majority of the time now.
But playing without HUD is not difficult to begin with.
For you. It’s like driving a car. Most ppl have spent hours driving so it’s easy and you could prob know roughly how fast your going with no speedometer. You’ve spent hours of your life playing elden ring so it’s easy for you. But playing without health or stamina or mana bars would not be easy for most ppl.
@@TheWeastBeast Fair enough.
@@allmasterofficial yeah, most people don't know exactly how many casts of something they can do before they need a flask, or exactly how many r1s, rolls, spells, etc they can do before their stamina is gone.
The way you start charging the Carian Grandeur in the middle of his combo knowing he'll miss is just insane
This + the walking around and not even rolling lol
When Ongbal plays ER, he's the final boss.
@@AlteraLin when ongbal plays any fromsoftware game, he’s the final boss lol
This is literally the magic equivalent of perfect Greatsword usage in Monster Hunter.
@@Apexapee the biggest thing I can appreciate is how he shows me just how much unnecessary movement I really am expelling, even moves that are technically not wrong.
You know, at 2:32, when Morgott was about to thrust that giant light spear, somehow, I expected a mikiri counter....
He did dodge forward into it lol
Wrong game mamen
lmao I was too. whenever I fight Malenia, I always instinctively dodge forward into her thrust attacks
Dodging into non-aoe attacks makes sense in any Dark Souls game.
This Great Rune is the anchor ring that houses the base, and proves two things:
That the Omen King was born of the golden lineage, and that he was indeed the Lord of Leyndell.
Using the Magma Blade & Carian Swords as a mirror to Morgott's own weaponry was brilliant. It feels like the perfect way to duel him and also carries that same feeling that you did for some of the previous boss mirror match videos you did. Awesome work as always!!
well noticed!
2:34
I was 100% ready for a mikiri counter
Bro thought about it for a moment
Damn. Morgott is my favourite fight in Elden Ring, so it's amazing to see him fought so excellently. Good work Ongbal.
Morgott is a true badass.
I love Morgott's fight! My only complain is that you need to limit your damage output to actually have a chance to fully enjoy all his moveset. I think he should have as much life as Alecto.
@@warcoder Yeah he has very low health for basically being the gatekeeper for the second half of the game. I think his hp should have scaled with how many shardbearers you've beaten
@@warcoder can’t relate, I was using my bleed longsword my first time and had to rely on bloody slash and bleed procs to deal any slightly noticeable damage
@@lonradb man, I literally killed Morgott with a banished Knight greatsword 0+ and the damage, while very low, it was still noticeable. If you were struggling to deal damage to him it's either because you haven't upgrade your weapon or your stats weren't enough to use that weapon properly.
This is honestly how much health to damage ratio this fight should have, thank you this was beautiful ongbal 💚
This is literally how much health to damage ratio the fight has, as evidenced by the video lol
@@atlasstoned Incorrect. This is on NG+ 7 and Ongbal is using un-upgraded weapons so as to reduce his damage output and make the fight longer, as evidenced by the video description.
@@alfredthegreat01 thats correct. and this is how much health he has lol
"Elden Ring bosses don't have any openings"
Mmm, the way Morgott had his back to you when saying "such shame I cannot bear" then turned to you and started charging with the line "Thy part in this *shall not be forgiven!* " is just cinematic beauty.
Truly there is nothing scarier in a souls-like than a naked man in funny headwear.
This is by FAR one of your most impressive performances. Bravo
The opening after the intro cutscene ended made my jaw drop, it was so fast I almost couldn't follow what happened but it was so amazing
such a cool moveset and fun fight, they should've given him a proper healthbar considering the jump in difficulty to mountaintops
I agree.
that’s true, at least morgott’s greatrune is conveniently the one which increases a lot of HP, quite handy for the mountaintops i’d say
“Proper healthbar” or yall was just overleveled.
@@benakinnusi2518 But any thorough player will be overleveled here, so are WE overleveled, or is Morgott underleveled? 🤔
the way morgott delivers his lines send tingles down my spine! its so well done, like this video :) you did the fight justice and looked stylish while you flawlessly did it
Omen? more like, Amen, rest in peace.
Lmao
I love so much when you do an attack with a long charge up animation whilst the boss is right next to you haha
This man did this fight way underleveled just to have it be a cinematic and entertaining experience, and the way he has this boss mastered is unreal
As beautifully done as always!
The no-hud fights are always so beautiful.
Thank you.
Imagine sending this video back in time to the period before Elden Ring's release, or even the first month of its release. People would be absolutely blown away by what you can do in it with this degree of skill.
Most impressive ER video i've seen. Morgott's complex moveset contributes to the spectacle a lot, i hope i'll see you stylishly demolish him again in the future.
Also loved the grafted dragon out of nowhere
So fun to see your ideas in those fights
Morgott was my favourite boss not only because of his moves and his lore but because he was the boss me and two friends spent a couple of days on. It was so fun learning when to hit him and when to back off and laughing when one friend got put on his spear. You’re skill is amazing to see and puts us to shame haha.
Masterfully executed! as always!
Morgott really needed like 2x the HP, he went down way too easy for being such an amazing fight.
People saying this boss is easy and beat him in first try and here i am getting my ass kick for 2 days and still not being able to down to half health.
It’s fair because he’s fast as fuck.
Just fight him on NG+7, every great enemy and demigod has shitload of HP, Malenia has 45k HP I believe and fire giant has like 60k lol
Yeah not true at all, he was perfect. Yall say this while having damn near maxed out stamina, FP and vigor, while using summons and all. Using guts build still took me hours to learn his moveset and beat him
@@benakinnusi2518 >guts build
bruh, you sure ain't the one to assume someone overleveled.
morgott was piss easy, and str builds are already one of the strongest.
Imagine the weapons clashing, Morgoth's cursed blade and miracle made weapons against the Ongbal's Magma blade/dragon attacks and sword sorceries. The hit sparks between the gold against blue, yellow against red, ugh, makes you imagine a Sekiro based combat for Elden Ring that implemented truly within it's design, not just Mods. 😩
I absolutely love your videos!
The canonical course of action of the Tarnished. Morgott doesn't even despise you, he just thinks anything you do is useless because the Erdtree has forgotten everyone, even him, the one who was born accursed and despite it, fought to defend the golden order to the extreme. He was the one to defend the capital, even managing to go toe to toe with RADAHN. He defended everyone and everything valiantly, forgoing even his name to avoid dishonoring the very order who defied his nature. He couldn't even live a proper life. His last moments were spent with his father, before the Tarnished reclaimed the rune of death, claiming Morgott's life with it, as part of the natural restored cycle of death. In all of this, not even Godfrey was angry at the Tarnished, no. It was an honorable fight, to advance an ideal that would eventually seek an end to the current state of affairs in the Lands Between.
The tarnished won, but the Tarnished paid their respects to King Morgott, last of all Kings, such is its legacy.
One of my favorite videos by this guy.
That's incredible how long the fight went on even with you continuing to dish out damage. I could't keep focused and switch objects without confusing for so long. GG
Using sorcery and pyromancy (grafted dragon and magma blade) together reminds me of Lord of Cinder... basically, an all-encompassing character who's mastered all the elements the world has to offer.
Pure skill brother!
Flawless execution. Quite literally.
I still remember getting this Fight and just knowing the first pattern before he did the new stuff. After he beat my tail in the beginning. I was ready to have my runback when I was more prepped. Such a great fight. And Great work Ongbal
The Mark... Of a true Lord...
Everytime I see someone fight this guy, I remember how hard his dialogue goes.
"None my claim the title of Elden Lord. Thy deeds will be met with failure, just as I."
You're totally amazing!
Insane. Just insane.
Work of art
That intro cutscene gets me everytime legit motivates me
Watching this fight while listening to Bury the Light Eurobit Remix is definitely a mood
That was epic!
Your gameplay made me ask myself. What the frick had I been doing while I played the game all this time!
Dude. You dance with the boss. Always in lockstep. Always in control. It’s crazy.
Ongbal lemme jus say you are what inspired me to master malenia and now i have and am going to maste all other bosses now
this man can literally memorize your everyday life patterns
Bravo, sir. Bravo
Malenia, Maliketh, Morgot are by far fromsofts BEST bosses
their moves are so graceful and beautiful
Ongbal to celebrate 200k (you’re almost there!) you should collaborate Sekiro and Elden Ring. The best of the best clips. 😊
That beginning speech is so cool.
And I thought morgott gave no openings. He's open for like half the fight.
True. I will try to strafe him more often after this.
Wind ups, end lag and knowing which attacks track and which don't is key. If you don't take advantage of those openings, then there aren't any. I watched a video of a guy getting him to do a seemingly endless combo and I think it's because he was just dodging.
@@BaldorfBreakdowns yeah it just requires a ton of trial and error to figure out what actually is an opening
@@K40005 That’s what I love about Morgott, and Elden Ring’s combat design. Half of what Ongbal does here is positioning, he’s always attacking from spots where Morgott can’t retaliate. He knows that if he stays on Morgott’s back for example, there’s no attack possible other than the tail whip, which is why he always jumps so confidently.
In Elden Ring knowledge and positioning are just as important as dodge timing. Morgott and Maliketh looked completely impossible to me, until I learned that I didn’t have to dodge everything and that in some attacks the better alternatives are to run or jump.
This man fights NG+7 bosses with +0 weapons and no HUD...A true god.
Abso-fucking-lutely beautiful
0:35 check out them dirty grubbers
That was bootiful
Ongbal is like a fly these bosses just can't swat!!! Super cinematic!!!
Beautiful
MAD RESPECT FOR THAT BRO
I love Morgott. He's one of my favourite bosses. I just wish he had more health. I appreciate the use of unupgraded weapons so you don't just melt his tiny HP pool.
Watching this master fight is just mesmerizing. God he is perfect man.
옹발님 영상은 게임 트레일러보다 더 영화같아서 좋아요
God damn some how you can keep up with a boss like morgott another Ongbal W
I love Morgott Boss Fight 🗿💥
Ongbal always incredible stuff! Are you using just standard controller or doing the back peddle action? So clean!
This is like a dance! You just rekt bosses dude! You are the god
Morgott, Maliketh, Godrick and malenia are my favourite elden ring bosses. The arena, music, battle is so amazing!
Nice video
Morgott gives the best fight. Despite being massive, he still display great agility and finesse in his attacks, a true duelist that shows how he defended Leyndell alone
Lord ONGBAL. You are officially the Bollox 👍
Pure satisfaction
Oh my god .. this boss fight
Such great boss I have ever fight
OMG I WAS STUCK IN THIS BOSS AND AFTER WATCHING YOUR VIDEO IT LITERALY TOOK ME 30 MINUTES TO DO A HITLESS RUN ON HIM WTF XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. Love u ongbal
Ah yes, no deflect and mikiro counter challenge
Better than I could do in a hundred years
Jesus, you really gave this fight justice by going no upgrades on him, it looked like both of you were dancing with your different weapons.
These bosses have to be hearing the most intense boss music when ONGBAL walks through the fogwall
마지막에 화장까지 치뤄주는 예의 ㅋㅋㅋ
설 잘쇠세요
Cinematic epic battle…
If ever they are going to adapt Elden Ring to TV series or films, they should take ONGBAL’s fighting scenes as action references.
1:50 omg that positioning
Such a shame he has so little HP by the time you face him, would make the fight even more epic, like the video, if it was higher.
Great video
Use weaker weapons.
@@AndreasFleissner most people aren't this good, even close to good enough to beat him if he took this long to kill
@@dylanwickam-white5629 Well, then those people should be perfectly fine with his amount of health.
The two dislikes are from Morgott and his alt Margit
brabo
I want to know how you're so good at these games. Natural talent and skill or extensive studying of boss movements and attacks? Or both? Probably both. I wish I could be half as skilled as you
진짜 어떻게 게임을 이렇게 재밌게할수 있지
"Elden Ring needs an easy mode" - Morgott, The Omen King (probably)
Morgott: Felled by King Morgott! Last of al...
Ongbal: Hesitation is defeat bro! Ikuzo!
Thy strength befits a crown.
Why is nobody talking about the music sync at 4:42
Felled by ONGBAL, last of all kings!
Morgott has to be one of the best shit-talkers in Fromsoft history
Ongbal turns soulsborne bosses into an artform, as if they weren't already artforms.
maelenia has 6k less hp than fire giant, its a sin that maliketh and morgott have the best movesets but also the lowest hp and poise
Radahn also deserves more health and 2 health bars.
More major bosses should've had 2 health bars. Godfrey, morgott, radahn, malekith
Why only them? Let's give at least 20k HP and 2 health bars to all bosses in the game. If Malenia has, my boys also deserve that.
People don't seem to understand that there is no logical reason why Morgott, Godfrey or Radahn should restore their health bars during phase change. Malenia has a reason, she basically resurrects as stronger version of herself after you leave her on the brink of death. Also Malenia might have 6k less HP than Fire Giant, but they also give you just 20k less runes for beating her than for beating Radagon/Elden Beast, which is 2-in-1 boss fight.
"but also the lowest hp and poise"
You should remember that Morgott, unlike Maliketh, is still a midgame boss, though the last one you will meet before progress to next stage of the game. It's still hard to poise break them because you need to land consecutive hits within a short amount of time considering that they are very fast and aggressive. Which is a real challenge for an average player, fairly speaking.
WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT HOW PERFECT THE SYNC ON 4:42 WAS??
Would've been perfect if Gavel of Haima is used as well but still, impressive af!
Thank you Ongbal님, for getting revenge on behalf of the Elden Ring community
Let's gooooo
Wait how are your graphics this good , what are you pc specs , it looks like im watching a movie
Good swords battle.
New vid series idea. Try doing cosplays of bosses and you fighting against bosses with those builds
