I've been working on a game based of your turn based course for around 6 months now, i'm feeling really happy with the results knowing that i used what i learned from your videos and courses to create a very complex game (which if i'm honest scares me, becuase sometimes i wonder if i will ever finish the game the way i imagine it), but i'd love to share it with you and hear your opinion once i finish the demo
Im about halfway through that course but I took a break to go brush up on my terrible maths :)
That's awesome! Great job on getting that far! You can email me a video of some gameplay (it's easier for me to watch a video vs installing/playing a game)

I know you dont like coroutines, do you feel like that asset gives you enough control of the patterns it forces you to use to finally implement them?
Not really because simple float timers are already perfect for my use cases. But if you like coroutines then that asset looks interesting.
@@CodeMonkeyUnity I prefer the float timers as well, and I can't wait for the next tutorial course.

honestly this felt a bit rushed, but understandable because you have been super busy with a lot of other stuff these past few months
I think maybe cause it was short and really fast paced
Honestly it really depends on the assets for that month.
Some assets are relatively complex so I can talk a bit more about them (that's why the systems videos are usually the longest out of these 3), but others, like a nice looking ice cream truck, there's not much I can say beyond describing what you can see in the video.

"Spiky ones" are actually corona type (e.g. Covid-19).
Ice cream truck as a top free asset for the month? Jeesh that's rough hahaha..
It's a very good looking truck! Like I said I can envision an entire game built around it like Lemonade Tycoon. That was a really awesome fun game with very limited visuals

Hey guys! I'm a new game developer and me and my friends are creating a game together. I'm watching an old video of yours called: "Aim At Mouse In Unity 2d". My pistol can only rotate about 3.1 degrees in each direction. Can anybody help me? Please?
Do you have a Rigidbody2D with constraints on it or a sprite renderer that flips to the face the direction of the mouse? Something simple like that could possibly be it.
Add some Debug.Log(); to see what your code is doing, are you getting the mouse world position correctly? unitycodemonkey.com/video.php?v=0jTPKz3ga4w
