As soon as I seen this I shed a small tear as a first generation Nigerian American always looked up to and admired Nnamdi and Osi Umenyiora but because they didn't talk a lot they didn't get the always get the attention and respect they deserved but thank you for making this dope highlights you the real MVP

Asante excelled in the zone but nnamdi was a press corner who could run with the best wideouts. The zone scheme wasn't for him.

No other corners besides Nnamdi and DRC were good came to philly and became ass. Blame Andy Reid after he lost jim Johnson as a d coordinator which made the defense fall apart but Asante Samuel excelled in the scheme. But Andy Reid was ass at defense at the time

Raiders Nnamdi was god tier corner. Closest to him in recent memory is Sherm and even then Nnamdi was still better because for 4 years no QB or receiver would even want to face him.

The Raiders utilized him as a cover man and the Eagles and Niners had him playing the zone; this is a prime example of playing to a player's strenghts rather then expecting him to convert to an overall playbook. Nnamdi only had a few pass breakups and a few interceptions every season but that's because no QB dared to throw his way. Stats don't always mean everything.

nnamdi was the only bright spot during our dark age.
he was obviously special. he played the most demanding defensive position and he did so with intelligence and gusto. he's the GOAT in my book.
He was born ro play CB. He was blessed with the perfect CB body and perfect CB mindset. He has uncanny football IQ (not to mention book smarts). I think he would excel in poker too. he knows exactly where his man was going to go and read his man's eyes to the point that he knew EXACTLY when the ball was coming and where. And that was IF the QB was daring enough to throw on Nnamdi's side of the field.
QBs were so intimidated by him that they only threw to his side 1.5 times per game on average during his prime.
