- After seeing some of the cosplayers just wandering around Gamescom at random I thought I'd investigate further and headed down to the Cosplay Village in Hall 10. Never before has so much flesh been exposed in the noble cause of geekdom!

Those cosplay people are really awesome, I mean the effort and time they put on their costume is just mind bending. Thank you for sharing this :)
Best part about cosplayers are the few that stand out. You can always count on the very popular games, like LoL to have A LOT of cosplayers.
And that's fair, but the only one I actually paid any attention to was Psycho Mantis, because he stood out as someone not done by so many others.

A week ago I was at the Sydney Manga and Anime Show, and I was reminded just how much I love seeing cosplays.

They are all really amazing. Hats of to the cosplayer.
My favourite costume is the halo one with the girl with blue hair that you followed the dressing of throughout the video.

WOW all the time, money and hard work that goes in to the Cos-play outfits is amazing. Thanks for the great video... love seeing your stuff Jingles. Working over seas in Afghanistan makes it hard to get out and do things like the Gamescon stuff. But at least I get to see it via youtube. So again a big thank you for the great video. Oh and a shout out to the lady in the SPARTAN-II commando uniform. That was one hella detailed outfit.
Jingles I know you're not one of there guy's but just filming cosplayers specifically without asking them is wierd. In future I would recomend just asking them to take a photo or whatever before hand, I know it's your first time at a convention but just be on the safe side in the future.
if youre at a con whether in costume or not you are yourself agreeing to be filmed and photographed, I see some other cosplayers get angry when people dont credit them, but when you buy your ticket you agree to have photos and video being taken of you
also you cant fucking expect someone to turn on and off their camera every 5 seconds
I'm not saying for him to turn his camera off every 5 seconds when he's going around filming and thats fine, it's when he or anyone just focuses in on people without asking. He may have asked some people but a few times after filming people for a bit it seemed that they only realised they were being fimed when they saw him. In America it's a big deal with groping and sexuall harrasment being clamped down harder in conventions.
either way if someone asks you to stop youd do it, thats only happened once to me and that was because her bra fell off while she was posing for a photo, but seriously you dont get dressed up and go to a con if you dont want to show people what youve made
BENJ4x yes sexual harassment only seems to be an issue in american cons, but that has nothing to do with being photographed or filmed, if you feel they are being too intrusive you ask them back up or just con staff

Not all Germans have a sense of humour for when it comes to walking round in a WW2 era German uniform ;)
Andy Sledge there was somebody in a costume that looked alot like it (hydra costume ???) so if thats allowed why cant jingles do the ''same'' ???

I am getting tears in my eyes watching these devoted to what they love people. It looks like it was an amazing year yet again. I guess I am going there too next year, hope to see you there too :)

every single con ive been too ive seen an SG1 group, and then one con i was like theres only 3 of them??? and it was the actual actors

Never played it, but they had a huge display for the game, easily as big as Blizzards' and there were a LOTof LoL cosplayers.

The spartan suit was well made.
But if I went to gamescom, I would wear the Lord Hood suit from Halo
the last one cosplayer really shock me, and make me laugh so hard until my stomach hurt. LOL

The end was funny. Especially the reactions of the dudes on their phones near the entrance next to the dude in the fem bunny suit. XD (Literally a "Dafuq?!" reaction.)

lol, the moment i saw the Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) cosplayers doing the SnK salute, i put my SnK cosplay on and joined them in salute lol

So many wonderful cosplays. They should all be proud of themselves for doing such quality work.

a small tip for next year: all the other entrances are opened hours earlier... and even as a visitor you can get in this way... even the "shuttle services" will bring you to this entrances^^

I didn't even know what most of them where, at comic con I can tell, but here a lot of them dressed as really obscure characters
The Tardis outfit was really cool, took me a second to realize what it was I was like what does that writing say..... first time I've seen ''the Doctor's Wife'' twist on Tardis cosplay much more inventive then going as a giant blue police box.

I didn't expect anime characters, like maka, at games-com, i thought it would be just all game characters. these costumes were excellent, i just wish we had at least 1 scp cosplayer.
The maka one was the most outstanding one, i also spotted to Laws from OP and heaps of stuff i did not recognize.
LOL has some of the most cosplayers out there I think. It looks like Halloween whenever you want it to be!

I have a question for you, Jingles. Do you ever invite people to play a couple of games with you sometimes, or is that something you have no intention of doing? Like, invite one or two fans picked for a game or two for World of Tanks and/or WarThunder.

The thing that gets me is the amount of free time these people have to make these costumes.

Wonder how the PayDay cosplayers convinced the staff to let them in with the guns, I got my plastic sword confiscated when I walked in as a guy from Brave Heart once...
theres certain rules, weapons cannot be longer than 1m, guns have to have an orange cap on them, youre usually only allowed to have your weapons out and guns without cap if its for photoshoots

Jeff Atransf you wouldnt be allowed to carry it around, anything over 1 metre usually has to be kept in the cloak room until you take it out for photos
Jeff Atransf what ever con you want to take a weapon/prop to, just go to their site or email them and ask them about the weapon restrictions, some cons dont even have restrictions (hence the amount of accidents lel)
