MCM London Comic Con 2014 - Cosplay!

- There were some great Cosplayers at Gamescom and EGX this year but nothing could have prepared me for the sheer volume and quality of the Cosplayers attending MCM London Comic Con.
In a vain attempt to give credit where credit's due, I can at least provide the details of those cosplayers who carried business cards with them...

It's nice to see that Stargate still has fans on this events! Also nice Alien and Predators! Is it just me or there were no Trekkies?

No one want to do Trekkies ever since the recent two movies. No real trekkies want to be associated with that and they know strangers will ask questions about it.

Love seeing people enjoying their passion and not caring what others might think.
This right here is why i love going to sci fi conventions, seeing people that have worked so hard on something they love brings a smile to my face. that and people can make some freakin epic cosplays. Also that alien was amazing!

That was great! I especially liked the Warhammer 40,000 people. And the man that dressed up as Teal'c from Stargate SG-1. He was my favorite of all. His costume brought back some very fond memories.

Tell me, you recognised the Judges from 2000 A.D.? Dredd and all the other people who cosplayed as them. And the Soviet Judges aswell. Man, you should be old enough to remember that comic.
Hell yeah! Loved the two East Meg Judges with costumes inspired by the new Karl Urban version of Dredd, too.

Agreed, love the couples also who work together at the scifi they love and make their own costumes, you go cosplayers.

I've stewarded the 2012 MCM event (Though that year we had Britain and Ireland's next top model on at the other end of the complex!) and several of the Memorabilia shows at the NEC Birmingham. The staff, crowd and vendors are almost universally nice people to work with. The cosplayers have a lot of fun and the 501st are wonderfully in character for most of the event too. It's always good fun to go to these events. - Just wanted to share.
