  • Although the Beta the 450 RX Motocross bike was recently introduced in the US, it has been in development for the past 5 years with Jeremy Van Horebeek as the lead test rider. We have not ridden the 450 RX model, however we have heard nothing but good things and hope to see more of their flagship motocross offering at our local tracks. I have a RX450. Ill be straight up and say im not fast at all but i have been racing MX since the age of 8 and im now 30. My last bike was a 23 Factory edition KTM. To compare the two bikes, the ktm was a powerful bike that had a huge top end of power. On a point and shoot track it was great. The Beta has an amazing torqy feeling that pulls great out of corners and is very smooth on slippery conditions. I have removed the two baffles in the exhaust while waiting for my FMF system to arrive from the USA (im in New Zealand) removing the baffles has given the bike much more snap and less of a choked up feel. The ktm frame and handling always felt very vauge to me and i never could trust the front end in flat corners. The Beta handles very well and is as good in tight corners and ruts as it is in long sweepers over bumps. I did drill some holes in a spare air box lid and didnt notice much difference in power. Hope you guys get a chance to ride one. They definitely need some suspension work out of the box

Prob rather have a Suzuki. At least you’ll know what you’re getting.

I've been a Suzuki fan as well for a long time, but as we all know there hasn't been any development on the yellow bikes. Both a stock Suzuki and Beta are mellow engines, which is good for the average rider.
At least Beta is trying to crack the market with a good machine right off the bat, and by the sounds of it the 2025 will be even better with fine tuning. Curious to try one myself.

Beta makes damn good and reliable bikes. (As reliable as racing machines get)

After 20 years KTM, Husky I purchased a Beta RX450,absolutely loved it so purchased the new 25 model.
Big improvement with mapping, pegs, softer seat but the forks need sorting for sure, otherwise perfect 450 for me.

We are not sure on the release date for the 2025 Triumph's. If we had to guess, it will be within the next two months.
