    0:46 you know the gun is big when you can hear a separate click from the hammer before the round is fired😂

      These are rare MAS-36 CR 39 7.5x54 mm MAS carbines. CR mean "Crosse Repliable" (folding stock), and indeed, the aluminuim stock fold downward.
      You can see one these actual carbine in action, in the following video (in French...but shooting is shooting)
      ruclips.net/video/sKXHdGM19wI/видео.html
      Time code on the video 4:30.

    why didn't they have scopes on them?

    • @laipublications
      @laipublications  10 месяцев назад +2

      In fact, it is not really needed as long as your target is a vehicle (main, not to say, only purpose of the weapon : no wasting of such an ammo!). According to our shooting session, hit probabilities are very good on vehicle up to more than 1000 m, and even on a vehicle part up to 400/500 m.
      During WW2, it was advice to Red Army soldiers to to engage ennemi target at range the don't exceed 250-300 m (because of ammo AP performance)...so, no scope needed!
      It can be noted that after the war, some weapons were encountered with PU style scope. But I am not sure that's a soviet service modification...
      Read our article on our website (link in description): this one is on free access! If you like this weapon, you will also like our assembly / disassembly video on this same channel.
      Greetings from France.

      They didnt have the capability to make that many scopes in the middle of the german invasion. Also it was not needed since german tanks were engaged in distances 250-350 meters.

      Because at the rang you would need a scope for the rifle, the rounds wouldn’t be able to penetrate a tank/armoured cars armour

    Quel type de peinture a été utilisé sur les douilles ? 🤔

    • @laipublications
      @laipublications  Год назад

      Désolé du retard, je n'avais pas vue la question: ce sont des douilles acier laqué chinoise "standard". J'imagine que la laque est proche de celle rencontré sur les autres munition Soviétique / Chinoise.

    1:43 Exactement 30 mm. Pour mesurer l'épaisseur, utilisez un mètre ruban à tension manuelle de manière à ce que le coin soit décalé. L'épaisseur de l'angle à cet endroit est exactement de 1 mm, et le trou ovale permet de mesurer l'épaisseur lorsque l'angle est sous tension, ou de mesurer la profondeur (longueur intérieure) lorsque l'angle est enfoncé dans le mur (ou le sol). 😊 -- traduction automatique

    • @laipublications
      @laipublications  Год назад +1

      C'est environ "30 mm" : c'est l'épaisseur de référence chez le fournisseur...malheureusement l'essai date de quelque année et je n'ai pas la référence exact de la plaque d'acier. Tout ceci est préciser dans l'article sur notre site! J'ai une autre mesure avec un pied à coulisse (manuel) 29,5 mm.... 😉 Спасибо за ваше сообщение!
