Great video, and nice work on the edit! Whidbey is one of our favorite destinations in Western WA to spend a day or two, and exploring those old forts is always a good time.
Another nice weekend escape. Whidbey is special, to be sure. And I *never* feel guilty about turning on the heater - much nicer to wake up comfy and warm than feeling smug because you're 'roughing it' (and freezing your toes off)!
Fort Casey on Whidbey is even larger, still has some guns, includes the lighthouse at Admiralty Head AND has a kite festival in the summer. I love the State Parks on Whidbey and visit often.
Great installment, and I liked the Camp-Cocktail plug for the local distiller - always fun to support the small business owners!! My brother was stationed at Whidby Island back in the 1980s and he raved about the fishng up there!
👍🏻 We ran it through the scales very fully loaded a few months back and hit 1800 lbs 😶🌫️ We never want to be any more than that. Dry probably around 1300-1400. Happy St paddies day!! 🍀🥃🇮🇪🍺
Even though I now live in Montana, I also lived in Anacortes off and on for 48 years. Deception Pass and Whidbey Island were my back yard. I’ll be back someday!!!
Another fun video! I ordered some string lights like you guys have, they're awesome but they sure do tangle up like a mo-fo. I got some of these from Amazon: "10 Pack Line Winder Rope and Cord Organizer". They work pretty slick. Keep up the kickass videos!
What a great little place to camp! Oh and I never buy those candles with wooden wicks anymore. I never had luck with them either! Happy St Paddy's Day! ☘️🍻🥃
Our paper towel holder is a chain with an aluminum tube slid over it to keep it straight. Clips on the chain ends connect to SS eyelets in the hatch. It's in our tour video on our channel if you want to see it
If you're visiting a state park/WA state managed lands for the day, you need a discover pass, which annually is $30. We just renew it with our tabs every year as we get out a lot! However, if you are overnighting, you just pay for the campsite. This site was $20 👍
Chester here …. Great outstanding footage.. thanks ….
Thanks, Chester! Always appreciate your support! 👍🏻

That jeep is ridiculous! Hell yeah😂😎

Lovely! I spend summers on whidbey very close to ft. Eby. Heading west in a few days and was great to find your video.
Thanks so much!
Our pleasure! Have fun out there!
That’s a great little get away! We love Whidbey Island! Coopville is an awesome little town to poke around in.
There is so much more than you think out there!

Couldn't agree more on everything 😉

Need to head back out there! Did the haunted house there once but need the full experience 👍🏻

I’m sure the company you couldn’t remember was Sea Sucker.
Yep! That's the one 👌🏻

Thank you!!! We wind them up like cordage now and seems to keep them from tangling lol. Saw some of those wind-up lights, genius idea!
The lights you use under the canopy are awesome! What kind are they? We’ve been on the hunt for some.
On Amazon amzn.to/42BjoHo
Cheap and have held up well so far 👍🏻

Happy St. Paddies!! 🍀🥃
So with the guns removed, we're pretty much defenseless if Canada decides to attack 😂. Another great video
🤣🤣🤣 Hey, nothing wrong with a little more maple syrup eh. Probably be the nicest most respectable battle in history as well 🤷🏼♂️
You’re one step closer to making it over to Vancouver Island and checking out all the gems over here!
Yas!! We definitely want to do a week up there!

In Washington, do you have to purchase a state park pass and then each campsite?
