Wild giga is so freaking insane dude. No wonder it took my entire tribe and multiple Hugh tier longnecks durability’s worth of shocking tranq darts of effort to even tame one. Absolutely ridiculous. Even a tamed one at a high level would do really well against a boss, but they can’t be used in bossfights. Mind you, the giga in the video is level one.

I feel like this would have been more of a fight if the giga didnt have 20melee against a boss with over 100k hp

So where does this fall in terms of like, in theory based off this, difficulty of each? Like would this be equivalent to the boss on Gamma difficulty or ..? I dont wanna spawn it and lose my shit and ik as is rn if i was attacked by a wild giga even level 1 all my animals would die. But if this means the gamma boss is like half as hard (again in theory roughly) then i might try

You can use mods, like the Spawn as Dino mods, just spawn as Dodorex but leave him (pressing E)

Everyone commenting that a "Givetome" giga doesnt have the bleed clearly doesn't play ark very often. Gigas with givetome still have the bleed, BOSSES cannot be bled. They changed thay back when allos were added. I think it was 2 updates after thay, because a pack pf allos would rip through any boss in about 2 minutes.

Gigas aren't a boss because (unlike literally every boss) the giga is an actually dinosaur and also bosses (except titans) aren't tameable so you would have many other good creature for orbital supplies so hard and legendary osds would be impossible to complete

cool but i think in the 2nd battle the boss should be tamed and giga remain wild because even though the stats dont change with givetome, tamed gigas dont have bleed which makes wild ones 100 times deadlier ;)

Wild giga health needs to be reduced to like 30k
FRESCO YT how? It's just a wild creature that is extremely difficult to kill. If you are unlucky enough for one to come across your base you might be screwed. It's not a boss, or an alpha just way to strong. I can take an alpha trex out with a couple of strong enough rexes, but good luck with a giga. Just saying the WILD, not tamed doesn't need to be so strong what's the point?
FRESCO YT nope lol. You do know breeded gigas that hatch with like 285 melee can destroy wild gigas right? Well idk now, I'm sure it's still possible but with a higher melee hatch since wild dinos have been buffed on official including titans and gigas but I'm sure it can still be done with one. Bascally, it's the reason were not allowed gigas in bossfights among other dinos because itd be too damn easy, ridiculously easy unless they buffed the boss accordingly when it senses a giga in the boss arena but that'd just be complicated and pointless. Wild gigas initial bite does around 1k dmg not including the bleed which does about 1k damage as well. A breeded 285 melee hatch giga once leveled to over 500 melee probably does over 3k dmg per bite not including imprint. I still have to test that on our official server. I mean if a wild golem has around 30k health and a breeded giga can kill it in like 8 to 10 bites, then yea u do the math. Pretty op

I have a level 471 tamed giga took me two years to level it up from 230 to 471 and it is the same as a wild giga
