As a Nando main im always surprised nobody uses his 2 speed bonus cards, and even having his knockback card at a 1 brings a whole new dynamic to his playstyle such as nudging people off the point or off the map and it disrupts them when they huddle together
Man, Nando either feels like fried chicken, or a bonfire.
I don't usually pick him though, but sometimes he can be fun :-)
and I should change my nickname from "LeonSkorpian" to "OnlyPlayNando"... I don't know why I only play Fernando, it's like I have it so integrated into my being, I feel the strange need to pick it, because I'm traumatized by the Drogoz and the BK
Champions that knocks opponents in the air like Ash and Khan, you can use charge mid air to avoid being knocked back too far. Only bad thing is, this: never fight Khan 1v1 by an environmental when he has ulti cause he would throw you far away from the area and charge would be useless
Fighting a khan 1v1 isn’t a problem it’s easy to avoid his ult too. With the right build you should win everytime. Most khans lately have been absolutely brain dead. Then again so has the rest of the player base.
@@dynomitecentury true fighting a Khan 1v1 is easy, but at the same time the reason I said not to fight Khan near an environmental when he has ulti is cause you have to worry about others and when you focus on them, that gives him the opportunity to ulti and throw you off
@@XarronChaos facts that’s why I like playing Nando or ash. Having control of most of the engagements is really nice. When that happens I just slip away. I usually try to slip away to the healer if they aren’t somewhere being stupid lol 😂. The biggest counter and one to watch out for is torvald’s old ass lol. I’ve been getting caught my io ults a lot recently too
@@dynomitecentury Every time I see that crazy elderly man it's on sight. I ignore every else and take him out first lol. Yeah I have to protect the healers as well but healers I be on the team with have enough distance to heal me and others while rarely dying. Most deaths any healers in my games gets is around 3 deaths if I do my job right with cooperation of flanks and damages. Last time I haven't been hit by any support ulti in 2 weeks now which is a record for me lol

I agree that Aegis is and will continue to be the most viable way to play Fernando, Scorch is great as long as you don't miss the Q and that your composition is moderately aggressive, with you being the off tank
It’s crazy how many people are banning Fernando in ranked. Those are probably the same people who still ban skye lol 😂
My last game with Fernando I was able to do over 300k shielding. This next update is gonna be weird with these healing changes
So in ranked double tank is meta the reason why fernando is banned is because he still works well in that comp.
Oh Fernando is a really great pick I main him and I use his speed bonus card knockback!

As a Nando main the shield nerf is killin me, i hate to play him, i always played as on point but now i hate to do it. I don't even play him anymore because of this nerf... I really don't understand that nerf, i hope they'll buff him really soon

@@mrbee8336 Technically yes, but tbh it is still a kind of bad made but whatever
@@mrbee8336his shield is even stronger with Aegis. His base shield is worse with the other talents

True Nando don't do a ton of damage but that don't mean he's a bad tank. As someone who picked him up recently, he's pretty insane if you give him the proper loadout and buy the right items to give him more survivability

@@ChubbyChipermunk I wish you well. I also did a separate post about Nando how he could use charge in air except when fighting Khan with ulti when near the edge of the map

@@ChubbyChipermunk Yes it's true. Try it out when a champion like Khan or Ash launch you in the air. Hit whatever the button charge is for you (I have no clue if you a PC player or console player) soon as you're in the air and you're back in the fight
