This is so useful, thank you. Autism seems like it is going up because we are being identified more easily. It's no longer just the white male only anymore. There are many, many undiagnosed Autistic folk in history. My parents and parents-in-law, for example, fulfil the DSM criteria, but remain undiagnosed because of stigma.
