Hello,,,, Yes, you can skip Ward's lake, its just a park with a lake.... Don Bosco museum- If you are interested in culture like things,, then a small visit to this museum is good....there is a sky walk on the top of museum which is highlight of this museum.... tomorrow my new vlog from don Bosco is coming so you can decide accordingly...... Mawphanlur- option-1 if you start your day at 6 or 7 in morning then you can cover Mawphanlur and can return to Shillong before 2 pm, after lunch in Shillong you can cover Elephant falls and Shillong Peak.. you will entire Evening to roam in Shillong police bazar. Option-2 after Mawphanlur you can take a tour to Kallang rock too in that case you will be back to Shillong by early evening.

I wanted to stay here too.. but some told me that the place is not maintained and the stay is not possible.. Also wanted to know where did you get the car from. was it your personal vehicle or hired and what were the charges please guide.
Hello Karishma, Its gud to hear that you are planning to go there but one suggestion- November may not be the best time coz you will not find such green view. Baki its completely upto you. 1. From shillong to Markasa village its like Runway.....its Shillong-Tura highway, one of the best road to travel in Meghalaya....from Markasa to Mawphanlur lakes its 4-5 km narrow and steep road,,,which was in good condition but a bit rough in patches..but one can reach there with careful driving. 2. About stay- in video you can see some house like structure near lake, these are the guest houses where you can stay....but because of the pandemic, they might be closed. 3. Taxi- we took our own car. But i think, 2000-2500 per day will be the charge for taxi. That place is awesome, you must visit there. 👍👍👍👍 happy travel...
@@TRAVRIST just another perspective. I have visited this place in both summer/monsoon...and winter December. Trust me the winter straw-yellow/light brown color of the grass is much more scenic than the green... I wish I could share some pics here.
