Yessss!!!! I am so excited you did this. I'm doing the eastbound TA on Bliss on its way into drydock in January. It will actually be my 3rd of 4 TAs in 4 months: Oasis westbound post-drydock 2 weeks ago, Encore westbound post-drydock next month, Bliss eastbound pre-drydock in January, and Allure eastbound pre-drydock in February. At that point I will have done 12 cruises in 15 months including 6 TAs!! I'm posting this in the FB group for the cruise. Cheers!!
Thanks Tony for a wonderful tour. Please take care of your knee. After seeing this tour think I will look at the Bliss for 2026. Thank you for all you do for us. 😊
I played mini golf on that ship. It was a great Ship for our 15-day Panama transit. Tony, I am so sorry your knee is hurting! That is an area with its own special pain. I will say, though, that this pace of ship tour is much more my Jam! Your filming is really good, too. When people move too fast through the tour, it not only makes me dizzy, but it feels like I am missing the experience. Thank you for sharing your Bliss experience.
@@raybrown8887 There are lots. My favorites were the whale and arch tours in Cabo. Also, for the transit, get up really early and reserve a spot in the observation lounge. It's the best view without the heat.
That ship looks fabulous, and I just priced it. Considering the included drinks, wifi, excursion credits, and specialty dining, the price is not too bad! Solo cabin - $1781
That walk in closet is almost as big as one of their solo cabins, which by the way are the very best at sea. Sailed on the Encore once. I love Norwegian.
The solo studio cabin is small (99 sq ft), but it's doable for a 7 day cruise. Next year in 2025, I'm doing "regular" vacation type stuff, but in 2026, I plan to get a solo balcony, for a TA cruise.
Great video Tony. I was on the Bliss right before your trip. The blocked off area on the observation lounge was for the latitude cocktail party with the captain and crew. Loved the Bliss. 😁🌹❤️
Hi Tony. The Haven beds are the most comfortable beds I've slept on at sea. Great ship tour. All those stairs, was making my legs hurt. I hope you rested some while doing the tour. Beautiful ship and I do like all the included area's to eat. As always thank you for all you do and take care of that knee. ❤
Great Tour Tony!.. We did NCL Joy a few years back & it was very enjoyable & yes the food was well done, from MDR, the Local, Buffett & the specialty restaurants 👍
Great video enjoyed the tour very much. The ship is beautiful and sounds like the food is wonderful. Think I will look and see what’s available for cruising in the near future. Thanks Tony!
We were on the Bliss just two weeks ago and on the Escape back in March. As a comparison, there's several areas we liked better on the Escape:The Waves Pool bar which overlooks the pool on the Escape is not on the Bliss. Spice H2O (The aft dance party venue) is much larger on the Escape and includes large TV screens - overall a better layout which lends to more energy. O'Sheenan's Irish Bar on the Escape also seems to bring more energy with its theming than The Local on the Bliss which is very generic.
Hi Tony, about a year after the Bliss first sailed, I watched a tour of the ship, and like I said in another video of yours, (think it was The Haven video) I've been wanting to sail on this ship for several years now, especially since I'm only 12 miles from the port. Watching your tour has re-sparked my interest. Obviously The Haven looks amazing, but the rest of the ship is beautiful too. I love the layout and it seems like it has a lot of well thought out space. Great tour buddy!!
The suspense is killing me. I am dying to hear about the bill on your medical visit. We had an incident a few weeks ago on their last cruise to Alaska.
Thanks for a great video, brought back lots of great memories from our Panama Canal cruise just after the Omicron covid wave in January 2022 - for us, that was the best cruise ever, since the ship was only 1/3 full. We're booked on the sister ship (Encore) at the beginning of February, looking forward to that one too!
Thank you for the tour. I'll be doing the trans-Atlantic on January 4 as the Bliss makes its way to drydock. Changes and upgrades are expected, most notably adding staterooms to the port side of deck 15 by removing part of the observation lounge.
I have noticed as the cruisetubers have gotten more popular that most of them are cruising in the more expensive, more exclusive areas of the ship that a lot of us can’t afford. As prices have increased, I am barely affording a standard balcony cabin in the “cheap” areas of the ship. I guess it is nice to dream about staying in a cabin with such perks, but I doubt I would ever spend that much when I generally cruise more for the port itinerary rather than the ship. That said, I hope you have enjoyed this cruise and all the perks in the Haven. 😊
I loved my trip to Alaska on the Bliss this summer. The Indian food in the buffet was so good. Loved my so quiet inside cabin. I slept so well in there.
I did the drop slide while docked in Ward Cove, Alaska. Its a lot of fun, you just gotta keep your legs crossed or you wont make it up the other side. Make sure you also go to the hot tub on the Port side of the spice H2O otherwise you will get blasted with all the smoke from the smoking area. The go karts say a limit of 300lbs on the website but it was actually 250lbs on the sign on the ship and they will weigh you if you think you are too big.
Heading on the Bliss in February for the Panama Sailing Miami to Los Angelas. I would love the Mexican restaurant and the Coco spot but read they are remodeling the ship now and those will be gone... Still excited! We cruised on the Joy for Thanksgiving week last year. Enjoy your videos! Thanks
Great ship tour Tony! Drooling over all things HAVEN! You may have mentioned in a previous video but we could barely hear the wind against your microphone so was wondering exactly what you are using cause it’s working really well! Hope your knee feels better soon. Gary relates.❤
Hi Tony, I must say you are impressive, you go on a ship that you never been on before and you give a tour like you been on it forever, you're a class act Brother this is why you are loved so much by your viewers, looks like you recovered well you are walking pretty good, God Bless you Tony, hope to sail one day with you soon, please keep me in prayer I go for a Heart Cath procedure Friday to determine if the arteries going to my heart have blockage. Thank you so much, God Bless and stay safe.
We loved the miniature golf. the warerfront and the observation lounge. The hidden room corridor on deck 8 was a great place to stay. We had a larger balcony club suite and an adjoining room with my brother. We did room service for breakfast and it was really good. We did the Alaskan cruise in May, had a couple rough sea days with the complimentary bags on the stairs.
Where are all the people? I have now sailed on the Bliss twice and booked for the westbound TA in February. Love the bliss. Also, I think the go carts are weight limited at 250. I'm working on that myself because I want to drive a go cart in the middle of the ocean. Thanks Tony!
That cabin is lovely! I could get used to that kind of luxury. ☺️ Only problem would be that I would find it hard to go back to a normal cabin after experiencing The Haven. 😂 I do love NCL. 😊 My hubby is just under 300lb now. He would LOVE those go carts! 😎 If there were some sort of multi-pass I would probably not see him the entire cruise! 😂
I love that there is containment of the smoke in the smoking casino. Looks plenty busy in the non smoking area. None of the stench rolling around the rest of the ship.
Love the Bliss. Have already taken 2 Alaska cruises on it and have my third scheduled in May. I stay in the Club Balcony cabins. If you go to Alaska you should get a balcony cabin because of the view. Someday I hope for a Haven cabin. FYI the Spa staff is wonderful.
That's such a big ship, but it surprising how few people three are on board. Except for the bars and casino, the ship looks to be only about 1/4 of full capacity. How full was the ship Tony, if you know?
I've also heard that Los Lobos will be removed to make Cagneys larger. I'm on the February Transatlantic after drydock. I haven't been on Bliss since her first Panama canal cruise and first Alaska cruise in 2018, but still consider her my favorite ship. Hopefully I'll still love her after the refurbishment.
Thanks for the great tour of the Bliss. Do the cruise lines ever offer a tour of the inner workings of the ship for mechanical minded people like myself?
we sailed on the Bliss last year in alaska. we werent fans of how they have everything (resteraunts/shopping) split up between decks. we prefer how Royal has most everything on a central deck. we had a hard time remembering where everything was.

You could have used the rear elevator, to ride up to 17, from 16, to miss the steps. PSS. I believe that I hit every bar on the Encore, multiple times a day (except the Haven bar)
The 'upper levels' really looked empty on the early part of this tour... I guess that bodes well for folks that like to cruise, but don't want constant people interaction? Thanks as always for the tour of the ship, good sir!
