There is such a disconnect between the interviewer and Kman. Firstly, there is socio-economic & age disconnection, the interviewer has no idea what it was like for him and others to grow up in that environment that he has, and she has no awareness or empathy as to how difficult it is for the youths to raise up from nothing into something! She has no idea of the difficulty he and others alike face and how much inner strength and determination it takes to achieve what he has so far, in addition, he is still very young and still trying to find his way. As a journalist, she did not even have the journalistic integrity or respect to do her own research into him as an artist and his background, where he grew up and how all these external factors helped form his journey. Then she is blaming him for a genre of music that existed way before his entrance into his musical journey, is crazy to me. Socio-economic and other external factors do play a huge part for some youths, growing up where he is from he will automatically be judged based on that alone! however, we are all born with free will and the freedom to choose our own path. I wish this young man the very best, and I hope that he can be successful enough to move away from harms way. I pray all the best for him in his present and future endeavours...
Very well said. He needs a proper management around him to give him the right guidances. He probably accepted the interview in desperation. He must of felt defeated at the end.
