Nice tut
again, lerned something super usefull in 3 mins
Excellent Tuttorial! Thank you for taking the time to make it, I appreciate it very much.
Really helpful and clear tutorial. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
very easy to follow, thank you!
Glad to hear that and thanks for watching.
Good stuff, thank you.
Helpful tutorial, but for us that only start you need to show things a tiny bit slower, for example when you created an array and the said let's apply transformation I totally lost ya you did it so fast I didn't had a chance to see what you did..
Glad you found it helpful and thanks for the tip. I'll make sure to use a keystroke capture software for future tutorials so that you can see the hotkeys I'm using. Also, if you wanna apply transformation just hit ctrl+A. If you wanna apply a specific modifier. Then hover over the modifier and hit ctrl+A. Hope that clarifies things.
You can also slow it down on the settings is not a perfect solution, but it does make it easier
1..00 and 1.30, 1.45 select bezier curve does not appear
Awesome!
Why wouldn't you just add depth to the curve and then convert it to geometry when you're done?
The method you've outline works for a simple tube. However, if you want to have a more complicated and repetitive pattern while also retaining control over the geometry then the method described in the video is one way to go about it. Hope that helps!
Cheers!
WHOOOAAH slow down there buddy... "Now I need to apply my transformations" and everything just happened like magic. I had no idea what you did there. How did you get that circular pie menu popping up, and what did you pick?? Well I don't have time to wait for a reply. Need to find another tut.
Tutorials covering the absolute basics may be more appropriate for your skill level.
thanks man
You're welcome.
thx! great video - kinda annoying that you disabled save in YT though - I keep a saved list of useful Blender tips. By allowing save you increase your audience surely?
Thanks I'm glad you found it useful! I wasn't even aware that was an option! Save to playlist/ watch later seems to be working for others. Maybe it's a temporary issue on RUclips's end?
how do you delete the caps?? im super new to blender and am making wires for a portal gun model
Select the caps > hit 'x' and select delete faces.
I seem to have a problem applying all transformations. The cylinder array does not merge into a long pipe/wire for some reason. Any solution to this?
Make sure to select the merge option in the array modifier and set the distance value to whatever is applicable to your scene. Hope this helps.
Thank you!

How to open this circle menu?
First, ensure that you have 3D viewport pie menus active. You can turn this on by opening preferences and enabling the aforementioned add-on. Once enabled you can select object and hit Ctrl+A to bring up that menu.
@@Art-of-Akrosh thanks for the information!
where is the 'Pre Apply Transforms' bottom? i really cant find it
If you are referring to "apply transformations" then just hit Ctrl+A and a pie menu should pop up with the option to apply your transformations. Hope that answers your question.
@@Art-of-Akrosh Thank you😌
how do i do the transforms part??? someone please help
Please provide the timestamp so I can help.
Why are the moves so fast using shortcuts. In the end I did not understand the concepts. Too bad a sthe knowledge is there
Just drop the timestamps of the parts you weren't able to follow along and I'll provide the hotkeys.
