First long distance MC ride was CFB Petawawa, Ontario to Winnipeg, Manitoba. 1,185 Miles. Over a couple of days of course. Ahh, the days of young and foolish.
From fort walton beach to daytona beach for biketoberfest 2005 on a brand new sportbike that i had bought. (2004 RC51) brand new out of the crate in 2005.
In 2010, I rode my 1200 Sportster from the Bay Area in California to Sturgis, SD for the annual rally. It was about 3000 miles round trip as I recall, hit a bunch of wicked weather, conquered my fear of wind and had a blast.
I'm from Tasmania Australia, my first long distance trip and first proper group ride and as a new learner rider was with 90 other women where we travelled from Launceston (North) to Tullah (West Coast) so about 4 or 5hrs where we battled rain, hail and cold but we all made it safe and had the best weekend ever 😊
Way back in my younger days ( about 36 years ago ). I rode my 1983 Yamaha 900 Seca from North Vernon, IN to Beattyville, KY to visit my Sister. It was only 210 miles. And it is my longest trip to date. You and Captain Anna are just too cool. Stay safe out there young lady/ladies !!!
Trailered with buddies from SW Indiana to Rapid CIty, SD.......... then rode about 3,000 miles to Canadian border, over to Seattle, down the coast, then back through the Rockies for a about two weeks , slowly making our way back to Rapid. Great trip. A fond memory of good riding, great campsites, greater friends.
Way back in the day me and a mate rode 2 up on a 1983 Suzuki GSX250 from Whangarei to Taupo in New Zealand! That was about a 7 hour ride for 2 big fellas on the little 250, it could just do the speed limit down hill! Mean trip 🤙😎
I & another friend helped a friend move from Spokane, WA to Knoxville, TN last summer. We drove both moving trucks down so we trailered our bikes down & rode our bikes back to Spokane. (rode the Tail of the Dragon)It was a great experience & I’m looking forward to doing another one soon.
Yes... I've been waiting for these... Looks like a great time, I'm glad you two were able to travel together... It's usually more fun to have a traveling companion, not to mention safer also.
I live just north of St Paul, MN. A buddy and his wife along with me went to Canada along the north shore of Lake Superior for a week of tent camping. Had a blast.
North Dakota to Colorado with many side trips and detours for grand total of 1920 miles in 7 or 8 days, with a passenger. I learned a lot about riding long-distance on that trip. Day one was below 50 degree temperature and rain for 300 miles out of the 420 mile for the day. Rain-suits and many stops to warm up and fuel up.
Yo Jess, glad you both had a safe ride in the rain. Been there done that. I am Suffering from tent envy. You Meet the Nicest People on a Honda. Keep the Shiny Side Up.
MY 2 FAVORITE CHICKS!!!! I love and admire you both so much, super stoked that you guys got to hang and ride together for Babe's rideout. Woot Woot! Great Video.
First long ride was thorugh norway, almost 2000km , started in my hometown and drove to Oslo and then north to gejranger, beautyfull place 👍 next trollstigen and then back in to sweden 👌🙂230 miles per day 👍
St Genevieve Missouri. 800 mile round trip. Did it on a '96 Kawasaki Vulcan 750. Learned that was not the bike to be doing long trips on haha. Got my 2020 Heritage Classic a few months after that ride.
I did my first long ride this spring from KC to Red River New Mexico. It was awesome! I’m ready for another ride Ike that. We rode home in the rain, but we missed the hail!!
Great video. Riding in the rain sucks, you're both some hard-core ladies. I recognized the place you stayed. Nothing like the Pennsylvania pot holes to keep you on your toes.
Seattle to L.A. in one day on the 5 riding a Yamaha XS1100. Had a rear tire blowout on the Grapevine, which resulted in a wild fishtail until I slowed down. New "cheap" tires and a blowout changed my tire buying habits for the rest of my life. On the way home rode up the PCH and took two days.
KCMO to South Carolina, tail of the dragon on the way, 2500 miles that weekend. KC to the ND/MT border. Manhattan, KS to Colorado Springs...the biggest thing I've leaned on these trips is take it as it comes instead of as you planned it. The best parts happen on the way. BTW, love the way CPT Anna throttles from a stop. It's like beautiful music.
You were right in my backyard! Nonno’s for dinner and Starbucks at The Shoppes at Montage. Very cool to see local spots considering all the cool places you’ve traveled!
I understand your issues with your Sena. My club switched to the Cardo PackTalk due to issues with the Sena not being waterproof. I can say that after having one now for 4 yrs and being in dozens or rain storms Cardo is supreme. Cheers!!
Arrgh. You guys have more mental fortitude than I do. It takes about ten minutes riding in the rain for me to start cursing and hating life. I hate rain! 🤣 Good for you, for sticking it out! 👏
Wow, Jess, I noticed you seem much more confident riding on dirt. Good job, girl, looks like the dirt riding "class" you took paid off. Hope you enjoy BRO. Ride on.
First long distance trip... 2 up in an '85 Kawasaki Vulcan 700. 1 week trip from Concord NH to Rocky Mount NC to Virginia Beach VA to DC back to NH. Plus some other riding. About 2200 miles in 7 days. Young and foolish. I enjoy long trips. I really need to prioritize time for them. Now that my son is grown and riding, I plan on doing more.
Jess, as a former Grayline Tour Bus driver from Phoenix, I loved your epic Arizona adventure. I believe I knew where you were mile post to mile post. I hope you'll be able to return in the near future. You are such a lovely and photogenic young lady and I love your videos. I've owned three rice burners and one Harley, back in my riding days. - Scorpio
I felt like I was right there with you two those roads look like my local back roads. I love those tri state roads. S.w. corner of pa. Loved it all very well put together great mics loved it all. Stay safe out there . You gals are awesome.
Glad you both made it out there OK once again you make me want to go camping lol enjoy the festival and I'll be watching for the next video thx stay safe
Nice ride. I have not had any real long distance so far, but do plan to in future. About 5 hours to Jacksonville N.C then into Morehead City. Done that multiple times. 1 time decided to take a short cut in a very heavy Rain storm and need GPS, bad Idea. Made the trip 3 hours longer with constant stopping. Trying to stop look at phone and keep it dry and screen not working due to being wet. Having it "jerry rigged" wrapped in a Plastic grocery bag.
Even though you had some crappy weather it still looked like you had beautiful views. I do the same on long rides using the passenger boards, that is if Miss viper is not with me. RSMF
The only loaner bike I requested was the sport glide for Ana. If the street glide came with a sissy bar I would have ridden it. It was a lovely “bonus” bike that Harley-Davidson was kind enough to offer! We have been having some great rides here in Ohio!
Where did you ride for your FIRST long distance motorcycle trip?!
Arkansas 12hr. trip
2006 my Boulevard c90t road to Myrtle Beach and then down to Daytona Beach back home to Marilyn. Had a blast🏍🏍🏍

I lived on the Delaware River as a kid. I caught crawdads and waded in the shallows. Memories.

It's so cool, motivating, and refreshing to see J, smiling ear to ear through her visor like a big kid! That smile said it all, Freedom & Fun !!!

Don’t know why, but when you two had finished setting up camp, it bought a little happy tear to my eyes. So happy for y’all!
I think we all care about these two and a little worry is what we do. Theyll just have to get over that! Lol.
Yes... I've been waiting for these... Looks like a great time, I'm glad you two were able to travel together... It's usually more fun to have a traveling companion, not to mention safer also.
It was so great to meet you and Ana! This BRO was actually my very first long distance trip as well.
Ahh awesome! You rode super far for your first ride!
Good video looked like you girls had fun even with the rain but that's biking can't have all sunshine have fun on your camping trip be safe
Great vid kid! You always seem to be so happy to be on your motorcycle and it's infectious for the rest of us! Thanks Jess!
You two are rock stars!!!!!

Fantastic stuff! Couldn't stop laughing at the discrepency between your luggage and Captain Ana's. The most prepared girl on the road!😁😁
Ironically. All of Ana’s luggage was also mine 😅
@@HerTwoWheels At least you both got there safe and sound. Can't wait for part 2!
You two are hardcore bikers riding that far in all that bad weather!!! That was a fun video! Can’t wait to see what happens next.

I’m working on a little review! 😊
Painters tape to keep the bags from rubbing on the trip is absolutely genius! I would have never thought about! That’s so smart very nice!
Worked like a CHARM!
@@HerTwoWheels YES! It's genius!
Ha, been waiting for this video! Looked like an awesome time, and Jordan even got to have a little fun solo!
