Rain really is magical to listen to. I've made a rainstorm video with gentle rain sounds ruclips.net/video/Zy2mO2G6ybo/видео.html. Would be glad if you checked it out.
Jess way to go. We all love the security of a 9-5 and knowing there’s a consistent check. But at the same time we have to live out our dreams and desires. I’m guilty myself of wanting to leave my corporate job but haven’t. Bravo to you Jess for taking that last of faith. You will most certainly be successful doing RUclips full time. Love your channel and will continue to support. Your one of the few who seems genuine and it shows. Continue success Jess. 🏍
Jess, @4:50 in the vid. "all the oils come out" -- the Oils are already there on the roadways (leaking from everyone's vehicles) -- whenever rain 1st starts failing it becomes the slickest like a slip-n-slide til it rains enough that the oil gets washed away or diluted. **. its always best to Not ride in the center of the lane where all the oil drippings are on roadways anyway & especially when its raining - Oily Wet Rubber may sound fun but in the case of motorbike tires is No Bueno~
First I went to Sturgis. I stayed at the Buffalo Chip. I had a wonderful time and went on many rides. To name a few. Badlands, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Devils Tower. You have been my inspiration. When you spoke about fears and the best way to overcome was to ride more was so right on. You keep on moving forward and I will enjoy watching your success
First off,I am also from Ohio, South of Cleveland. But I wanted to wish you a bodaciously blessed new year. Follow your dreams, make wonderful memories of every day. I have been riding all my life. Over 60 yrs, you can never give it up. It never gets old. Also I would have parked it under the cabin. Had all kinds of room. Happy trails,Chuck
Love it! And love my Harley! As a combat wounded OEF (Afghanistan) Vet, riding has been my therapy. It has literally saved my life. I love riding even with a mostly artifical right leg.
You have to do what you think is best for you. No matter what that may be, just know that your true fan base will be here to support you in any way we can. I can tell in your voice and in your eyes, you have had a heavy weight lifted from you and your seem to be a shinning light as you were from the first video I saw you in. Best of luck to future endeavors. We will be here to support you.
If there is one thing I've learned, even though I learned it too late, it's to enjoy your life. Don't get bogged down in the daily grind. Life is a mystery walk. Never fear what is around the next curve. Look forward to it no matter what it turns out to be. There is always something to be learned. Embrace it. I wish I had learned it sooner. Much love.
I agree. After I sold my company for 4 million at age 40, I took off and finally got to see America by motorcycle. It’s a hoot to pull up to a $500 per night hotel on your bike looking like someone who couldn’t afford to stay there. The meals that I had at some of the finest restaurants serving the local game are memories I’ll cherish
Gotta love Red River Gorge or "The Gorge" as it's said by many. There's great hiking, camping, cave spelunking, rock climbing, repelling, just chillin and enjoying the view, and and of course great roads to ride
I play in a band in N.E. Ohio, and every year since 1998 I’ve had a gig preventing me from going to Sturgis. I’m blocking off dates next year, and if they’re working, they can get a fill in guitar player. I’m 70 and don’t want to miss any more chances to do the things I want. Congratulations on your new life.
Congrats Jess! Been subscribed to the channel for over a year. It's helped me define some of what I want to get out of my own riding. Anxious to see the adventures you go on with this next stage!
You'll be fine, Jess. You have plenty of talent, and success doesn't come from WHAT you know, but what you DO with what you know. Your drive and ambition will take you to wondrous heights. The journey begins right now. Enjoy the ride.
Always do what makes you happy! You only have one life so live it to the fullest. Congratulations on your next journey in life! Excited to see what comes next.
Sturgis is a must for any motorcycle rider. Seriously, the Black Hills are beautiful and the roads just got repaved and are more awesome than ever! My very first year of riding, getting my license and road Iron Mountain! Not our first Sturgis, but my first actually riding all the beautiful roads. Never regret Sturgis! I also just bought my second bike at Black Hills Harley Davidson…a 2013 Heritage Softail! WTH were we thinking? Now we got to trailer it back to Kentucky, LOL!
I'm so glad I don't need to carry rain gear in SoCal. I mean I'd still ride I'm sure and get used to it but here I get to have a lot more space for other stuff in the bags cause it rains very little hear. That cabin is soooo cool. The outside reminds me of summer camp when I was a teenager.
I live in Mexico City and just bought a 2003 100 year anniversary Electra Glide Ultra Classic CVO 103 engine from Texas and had it imported. I am in the the midst of a minor restoration (Major Clean up and detailing). Then start touring in combination with my photography and drone photography. Have fun on your new life adventure, there is nothing better than feeling free. Happy Travels.
The "unknown" is always alil scary, not having that "for sure" paycheck, but we all have to do things that make us unsure to get us to our happy place/life, congrats jess, u will do great in this next chapter and chapters ahead 👍👍👍👍
Beautiful part o the country there! Enjoy it! I used to go with a group of about 30 friends every year to Cumberland. We’d rent 3 giant houseboats and chill on the water for a week of outrageous fun and a little bit of heaven on Earth. Best vacations of my life! Thank you for sharing - really glad you’re getting to enjoy “there.”
Congrats young lady! You had a dream and you worked until you achieved it! Cant wait to see what is next! My wife and daughter (as well as I) love your videos. Have fun and be safe!
Jess, you got me on this one. I grew up about an hour/hour and a half east of there. Nothing in this world tugs at my heart more than those old mountains. Home...
Ya! im with you i agree i wouldn't ether ,i wouldn't have been able to relax and enjoy myself as i would be thinking about my bike sitting out there uncovered and unattended.
I lived at the southern edge of the Daniel Boone National forest for more than half my life and this vid really makes me homesick. Hope you got some good riding in on the scenic roads.

Congrats on your step to a full time RUclipsr, it's something that all content creators want to acomplish. I've been following you for a little over a year now and I have to say that I like your style and the way you speak to the camera, it makes me feel like we are having a one on one chat. Also your video production has also been improved, congrats on that too. You are in the road on becoming an icon in no time. Happy riding, stay safe and ride the life.
Whilst it might be scary to give up your job, you did it for the right reason and sometimes you need to take a risk to try something different. I wish you ever success and happiness in what yoiu do, Well done for having the courage.
Congrats!!! I left my white collar job back in Feb 2019! It gave me so much more time to spend with my son and help my daughter navigate her first semester in college...keep it up!
Thank you so much for this video. We just had to cancel our summer holiday stay due to my mother-in-law fell on her artificial hip and broke it and her hipbone (very, very bad, she hardly can help herself now - artificial joint cannot be replaced. So a ton to organize). So your video was absolutely lovely to see, what a cute, cosy cabin. Appa really seems to enjoy himself, even in rain. I can understand you very well, I did something similar years ago (had a very safe job, but it affected my mental health really badly).
Congrats. Follow your dream and success will follow because you will be engaged and passionate about it. Good luck. I’m looking forward to following along!
Aww wow, that was COOL ride, luved it, my kinda roads. And your cabin is outa this world. Enjoy your new life, you so deserve success and you will have it. thanx for letting me ride with you. Take care and ride safe. Cheers Neil
Keep a plastic bag or two with your rain gear. The plastic "single use" bags they use at Total Wine work exceptionally well (they are thicker than most). Put your boot in the bag and the rain pants will go on MUCH easier. Using the slick plastic-bag as an over-boot / bootie allows the rain pants to just glide on effortlessly. Once you've got the pants on, pull the bag off your boot.
Congratulations. You should definitely come up to Michigan now and ride through the tunnel of trees and check out some breweries in the Grand traverse county this fall.
Congrats on taking the plunge! Cruising down 23 heading to your little escape! Same roads I ride. My wife and I just sold our house in Groveport and are moving to Florida. Scary with no job or place to live. Air B&B rented for 30 days till we find a place and jobs! Best of luck to you! Ohio will always be home!
I know how you feel when you say “Get yourself back together”: I’m 61 and getting on my bike puts me into the same feeling. I started riding again 3 years ago.
Two Wheels, try mounting your bike when it's on the stand from the right side when you have your bike loaded with gear. Just steady yourself with your right hand on the throttle, step up on the floor board and step over the seat. Don't worry your stand will hold you up. Good luck with your choice on leaving your job. I know that can be stressful, but life is short take the chance while you can. There are plenty of jobs out there, you have to do what makes you happy. Happy is most important!
This was such a majestic ride through the hills and all the woods, and that sky bridge was so " cool " lol thanks for taking us with you. Keep the vids coming please.
You didn't quit your job, your simply decided it was time to live your life to the fullest, share your riding passion with all of us, inspire and motivate more people to get out there and enjoy what biking and freedom is all about, well done!! Safe rides and more amazing videos to come then!! 👍👍
Congratulation Jess. I recently quit my job too but it wasn't anything great and the circumstances were more dire. Still. I've been slowly recharging and looking very much forward to the next chapter. Best wishes to you and for the new things to come your way.
Last September I rode my bike from Virginia to Ohio. It was the best trip. Not soon after, I wrecked but didn’t waste any time and replaced my bike and retired. I plan to do many trips in the future. Good luck to you and enjoy the journey.
Congrats Jess, welcome to your new life of actual real tangible freedom!!! Just don't let your RUclips career grind you down, make sure to enjoy the ride and stop to smell the roses from time to time.
15:05 - OMG you visited the NADA Tunnel!!! I'm jealous!!! Kylie and I are going to ride that way sometime this year...it's a ride in the works! From Elizabethtown, KY to the NADA Tunnel, the bridge, and back!!!! Glad you had a great time!!!
I grew up in Ky. Spent a lot of time in the gorge, rode that chair lift! I’ve been in Florida now for 13 years. Thanks for this trip. Brings me back home.
did the same after I got out the Army 1978, left Connecticut, found a wrecked 1968 FLH off the Original Owner in Illinois, took a couple years getting her on the road but never forget the first time I crossed the Rockies on her going into SLC, she sits in my living room now. America is My Home.
only time I ever wore rain gear except for what my mom made us where as a child was living in the mud out in the field in the Army, kinda refreshing riding in the rain, you should try it.
The Red is an iconic destination for any purpose. I have spent a tremendous amount of time there rock climbing. Off road trails and Miguel’s Pizza are a must to get the true vibe of Red River Gorge. The roads are made for two wheels and be sure to go through Nada Tunnel in Slade, KY.
Congratulations! The Red River Scramble is going to be in that area late September. Some people stick to the pavement riding and camping. Caitlyn would be your buddy for the street during the day if you went. I don't think she's about to take her cruiser off-roading!
To move out of your comfort zone is a challenge! It’s good you are excited rather than worried. Life is short so do things you want to so no regrets and have fun! I’m going to stick around to watch you do it!
You and your Mom, or Husband, or both, might enjoy an evening dinner cruise on the Ohio River. Most of the time the food is very good and, the bonus is, you get live riverboat music. Lots of fun.
Pack two plastic bags with your raingear. First slip your boots into the bags, then they glide much more easily through the legs and keep the inside of the rainpants clean. And it is always nice to have extra bags.
Sometimes when you want freedom you make your own, like you did. I'm retired now but was lucky that my job was two weeks on, two weeks off so I could plan around that. Worked good. I've been riding 54 years. I live near Louisville and have ridden all over the state. You're hitting some good spots. Safe travels to ya'.
Living in Central Ohio if you ever get the chance on the third weekend in July there is an antique motorcycle show and races in Wauseon. A great time with great people! 100+ year old motorcycles with no clutch and no brakes running around the track. There is also a woman's chapter of the AMCA which always meets there. It started there a few years ago.
Good for you! We only live once and life goes by really fast. I hit 50 last year and it sure woke me up as in hey life is going by without you knowing it. I bought a half tarp for my flh. It does not get burned from the heat of the pipes or the motor and covers all what you want as in gages seat love it. It basically covers the essential and small to pack also as i also do camping with long road trips. Be safe
Congrats!!! Full time RUclipsr!!! You MUST move to California!!! Always sunny! Always perfect for riding! Always options of mountains or valleys or beaches!!! Please come!!! You’ll love it here! And you’ll have so much riding for your RUclips channel!!!
diligence. discipline. hard work. and make opportunity happen. bravo to you for taking control of your future. the world is literally yours now. sincere congratulations Jess. 👊🏼
Congrats. That Sky Bridge was COOL 😎 I'll have to checkout about cabins next time. You was all was just west of Eye of the Dragon and NADA tunnel in the Red River Gorge beautiful ride. Should of park it under the cabin out of the weather but I know ya said you wasn't sure about the hill and gravel. Keep Gliding girl, the more you do the more you become one with the machine.
You are the reason I called Farrow Harley North. So sick of getting jacked around by my dealer an hour and a half north of there. Super people I talked to on the phone and I told them that you led me there. 9 weeks and my 2021 Ultra still isn't fixed after I crashed it. Glad I have 2 others to ride.
OK Ya made a big change been there ! Perfect time in your life to take a look at what you have done and what you want to do, a lot of people make changes. Just be smart and practical and youll do great im sure.
First time I've seen your new bike and I'm jealous! It's absolutely beautiful! Almost as beautiful as You!!!! Be careful and congratulations! Good luck with your new journey.
I did too.. grew up on a farm in Doylestown being the oldest then 4 sisters who hated farming like my mother. At 14 I had a special driver's license. I showed promise in baseball football so they sold the farm. Bought what I thought was the smallest house they could find. Found later notnso around here along the shores of the Ohio Erie Canal. Canal Fulton was the place to be... I koved to Texas raised a family them moved back. Back is the place to be.... riding a Harley along the shores is the best to be... I ride out the drive and farms I see fresh air the hall of fame there all still not for me. Someday I'm gonna ride to Florida as St Cloud is where I'd like to be sunshine and rain to keep my little Harley clean Ride safe Remember Ohio is the place your heart should be ❤💙💜

Well done chica. Do what you love and don’t let anyone or anything get in the way of that. Life is too short to be hindered down. Keep it up.
You didn't quit your job, your simply decided it was time to live your life to the fullest, share your riding passion with all of us, inspire and motivate more people to get out there and enjoy what biking and freedom is all about, well done!! Safe rides and more amazing videos to come then!! 👍👍
Congrats on putting your happiness first ma'am. I look forward to seeing your adventures.
abything that brings you "JOY" should not be denied (providing your joy isnt hurting others or TOO fattening)!
You are living your life, so enjoy & don't worry about anything.
Congratulations young lady. Live your dream....and don't second guess yourself at all. Take care, Tri-Glide Ed
America is My Home.
only time I ever wore rain gear except for what my mom made us where as a child was living in the mud out in the field in the Army, kinda refreshing riding in the rain, you should try it.
sorry to hear that you quit your job. But I wish you well on your new Journey. Beautiful scenery awesome video
I so proud of you jess i hope it becomes everything and more than you hoped for. Peace love and flight
Tip to easy get into the raingear: put a plasicbag on each foot before you pull up the trousers. They slide on much easier, guaranteed! 😊🏍
Wow congratulations. You are living a motorcyclist dream right now. Keep the great contact coming
I hit 50 last year and it sure woke me up as in hey life is going by
without you knowing it.
I bought a half tarp for my flh. It does not get burned from the heat of the pipes
or the motor and covers all what you want as in gages seat love it.
It basically covers the essential and small to pack also as i also do
camping with long road trips. Be safe
Loop the string for the kickstand plate on your handlebar and you can just reel it in while you’re sitting on the bike!
Not familiar with the Stanton area, but south eastern Kentucky never disappoints for quality motorcycle rides!
That’s kind of how I feel at the moment stuck in a lousy job. Congratulations on your endeavors going forward.
Here I am late to the party but congratulations this was great news very excited for you! Keep doing what you love.
OK Ya made a big change been there ! Perfect time in your life to take a look at what you have done and what you want to do, a lot of people make changes. Just be smart and practical and youll do great im sure.
From Australia, Love the sound of rain on the roof especially when we've been through years of drought.
Congratulations and best of luck! So many of us take the safe route in life and regret it later..☹️
Congrats, Jess! Not only do you live in my state, my city, but you are traveling the same roads I do every day!
First time I've seen your new bike and I'm jealous! It's absolutely beautiful! Almost as beautiful as You!!!! Be careful and congratulations! Good luck with your new journey.
Hey Jess , dont worry about that job , jobs come and go , follow your heart and dreams while your still young good luck JT
I have honestly never thought of putting a string on my puck! That is genius! Work smarter not harder!! Thanks! 🙌
I did too.. grew up on a farm in Doylestown being the oldest then 4 sisters who hated farming like my mother. I ride out the
drive and farms I see fresh air the hall of fame there all still not for me.
Someday I'm gonna ride to Florida as St Cloud is where I'd like to be sunshine and rain to keep my little Harley clean
Ride safe
Remember Ohio is the place your heart should be ❤💙💜
