Good stuff! It's interesting how wide spread this is with so many of the melodies, a lot of the Ogre Battle/Tactics Ogre series applied many of those rudiments with brass far more than I realized before (See "Limitation", which their almost all use.)

Most definitely! Its both of the same composers doing the Ogre tactics, so it makes sense that for other games of the same genre they went the same route!
Thanks for watching!! Have a nice day!

@@MusikPalast Will do, how about some Armored Core? Nice mix of ambient nothing, techno, and radio chatter to analyze.

Oh, before I forget, what about the soundtrack of Vagrant Story? Grand Cathedral, and such?

Vagrant story was also composed by one of the 2 composers from FFT. Awesome soundtrack! Loved that game so much! Both Sakimoto and Iwata have done soundtracks using this style, like you mentioned before the Ogre Series is in fact older than FFT, and they already used this type of music, but I think FFT was their big hit and a famous soundtrack still today and I thought it was cool to Analyse it and use it as an example :)
