The edge cleaning ability looks it needs improvements and I feel like this product isn’t yet polished or ready to the public.

Sounds like a lawn mower running through the house! I want an Eufy S1 Pro. My only complaint with the Eufy is that the roller does not extend to the edge. This one does but it looks like it didn't even clean the corner of the coffee grounds. Plus, with Black Friday pricing, it's literally 50% more than the Eufy. That's $500!
And you do not even get the control buttons on the top of the unit. So for someone handicapped like me, if I forget and don't bring my tablet with me to start to make it do what I wanted it to do, I just wasted a trip and have to go back again which is very painful. And no, I do not carry my phone around.

Seems like it wastes energy for the sake of being different. The compressor running for dehumidification and boiling the dirty water blows away any eco saving of recycling the water. And wouldn’t boiling dirty water make an odor? It also bumps into things that even cheap robots with LIDAR avoids.

I like the extending roller mop, the laser mess detection (assuming it works well TBD), and the powerful vacuum. However, the water recycle system is a stupid gimmick that eliminates this option IMO, and here is why:
    1. It makes the base huge and it looks ridiculous.
    2. It adds unnecessary complexity, noise, heat, power consumption, and for what to save 2-3 gallons of water a month? Seriously?
    3. A simple pump with drain/fill connections will achieve the same benefit without all complexity(reliability), noise, heat, power consumption, and allow the base to be much smaller and inconspicuous.
It's ridiculous, ditch the water recycle contraption, add a drain/fill connection system, make the base smaller, sleak, and inconspicuous, then they might have something that people with $1,500 to spend will actually want to buy. I know there will be some folks that think this looks cool, it will look great right next to their unopened star wars toy collection. However, most everyone else want something that will fit in with contemporary decor, and this is not even close. It's completely unnecessary and the many cons far outweigh the one insignificant pro.

I’m very confused what to get now! I keep finding more models, which would you say is best for vacuuming and mopping right up to the edges? Please 😅

I've seen some devices that make water from harvesting moisture from the air. The math always works out to where it's extremely inefficient, even in state such as California. This makes it so that unless the device can run for decades, it will take a long time to hit ROI. I suspect this might also be an electricity hog. I'd be curious to see how much electricity it takes to replenish the water after ~500 Sq Ft of mopping.

i am thinking about a new robot. which is better: Qrevo slim or dreame x40 ultra? i like the mop removal feature, but also have a low couch and might benefit from the slim design.

No, not in my opinion. Yes it has an extended mop roller but it sounds like a leaf blower.

It is indeed a kickstarter project. So give it a little time and some updates and im sure it beats many other robots 👍

I'm hoping this will be seen. I have been doing alot of research and thought narrowed it down but I ended up with more options. I wanted something with steam but the bissell hydrosteam didn't have too many good reviews. The tineco s7 steam is more than I want to spend. I found the s5 steam on sale for 270. So it's between that, the reg s5 blue, also on sale or the kenmore aqualite for 200.00. Any suggestions?
